I had the most horrible experience I have ever had at a restaurant yesterday at the red robin in Enfield, CT. When we arrived, they seated us in a booth in the back and the seats and table were both dirty. I also noticed that they have employed a lot of very young looking kids in the kitchen, and that day they looked even younger. I ordered the whisky river BBQ burger, with a side salad and my wife ordered the chicken caprese sandwich. My kids were with us, but they had already eaten at their grandmothers, so they just got some drinks and I asked for a tray of french fries. We waited almost a half an hour to get our food and our waitress never brought us the french fries for the kids to eat while we waited for our food. When she brought the food, (and the french fries), the chicken caprese did not have any fresh mozzarella or pesto aioli on it, just a lot of mayo looking aoli on both sides of the sandwich! The server did not inform us until she brought out the food, that they were out of fresh mozzarella and pesto, the two main ingredients to the chicken caprese salad. (We only four this out, because my wife noticed the sandwich did not have these ingredients and asked the server what is this?) It was also not our original server who brought the food, there is always someone else who brings us the food and there is never any consistency with your original server. We sent it back and said we didnt want that and maybe they could just make her a chicken salad instead? Now I am sitting there with my wife and my food and I will not eat it in front of her, that is rude. So I take the extra plate and give her some of my salad she can eat something while we wait. When the server came out she told us what had happened and did not even apologize for the mistake!!!!!! In about ten minutes, a young woman with a different shirt came out and gave her the salad and said they did not charge us for it!!! She ALSO did not introduce herself as the manager, nor did she apologize as well!!!!(That was almost the most terrible part of this story, but wait it gets better!) You would think any restaurant today would take inventory of all of their ingredients before they started serving food, and let all of the servers know this to warn the customer or tell them that the original ingredients are not available. This is done so the customer can decide if they still want that item, or choose a substitute ingredient or menu item altogether. That to me, would have been the professional way to handle this. I dont think this restaurant can handle that, when they have a lot of young kids running the establishment. There should always be a professional presence of an experienced manager on site at these restaurants. I had given about 13 of my salad to my wife and ate the rest and my burger. For the rest of the night I had FOOD POISONING, and I am still sick and going to the bathroom stuck in my bed hunched over from terrible gut pain and a slight fever of 100 degrees. I know that it must have been either e-coli or salmonella because it was 3-4 hours after I ate the salad and burger and i did not eat anything else for the whole entire day! This Red Robin since opening its doors in Enfield, CT has been packed constantly and now I see that the amount of people attending the restaurant has made it more dirty and the restaurant is not cleaning well, or using really good staff in the kitchen to assure that they do not pass bacteria onto the customers. IT is the LAST time I will ever go to this red robin, and the whole experience has soured me so much, that I doubt I will be visiting this national chain restaurant anywhere else in the US in the near future. Disgusting!!!!

Best place for a wealth of burger options if thats your thing. And if youre here, it must be. But surprising and lesser known healthy options are available here, such as the free substitution of endless side salad instead of the bottomless fries, and requesting the Garden Burger patty instead of beef on any of their sandwiches at no extra charge. You can also freely customize any sandwich on the menu with any of their buns (jalapeno, ciabatta...) So there is actually something for everyone.

Red Robin is a great restaurant chain, but this location is simply terrible. The host/ess at the front is never at the front. Whenever I go there, we have to wait between 5 to 10 minutes for anyone to even show up at the front. The service is slow (about an hour to get your food after ordering). The staff that are present are friendly and great. This location just needs to get their act together.

One of my all time favorite places to eat in Ct, I always look forward to visiting the Enfield one. The bleu ribbon burger is phenomenal and has become a regular course for me. Wait staff is always prompt and courteous, food arrives in good time no matter how busy, we are never left waiting for excessive periods of time. An overall excellent place to eat out. Looking forward to my next visit!

Very disappointed! First order for take out. Once I got home my burger had tomatoes when I said "NO TOMATOES". No lettuce, and no blue cheese. I had ordered the Blue Ribbon. I went back to pick up another burger since I called and complaining and the 2nd burger had a piece of tooth pick stuck on the bottom. What is going on in the kitchen ?

Been coming here a long time. The kitchen sucks at reading tickets (servers have proven it to me) but the staff tries hard to get things right. Great burgers and typically good service. Full bar, and great bartenders. Honestly the biggest flaw to this place is rude customers and their kids breaking the wait staff down for the day.

I love this place. The burgers are good and they have a great variety to choose from. Their chicken sandwiches are great too and you can choose between fried or grilled. Their fries are great and they are endless. Try the their signiture fry seasoning it is great and so are the dipping sauces for the fries.

The food was really good, so we cant complain too much. We were hoping to have some fries to munch on while we were waiting for our food, but our waitress didnt end up bringing them over. She did offer while we were eating if we wanted additional fries, but at that point we were getting so full already!

Unlike other chain restaurants, Red Robin is focused on making sure youre happy with the food and service. The Enfield Red Robin is no exception. The staff is super friendly even on nights that are really busy. We have young kids and all of the staff interacted with them which goes along way.

We love the Enfield Red Robin, we go there about 2 or 3 times a month. There are 3 staff members that we enjoy, Laurie, Bee and Chris. They are very personable. The Enfield, CT Restaurant is much better than the Wilbraham, MA one. We went there several times and didnt care for it.
