Very nice interior and atmosphere, although it does get uncomfortably loud. I guess thats the drawback of being a popular place. I feel like there might be something to the acoustics of this place because while I normally dont mind a loud, bustling evening out, I get real tired of it real quick when Im here. The menu is diverse and has some interesting items. The service is a little lacking. They have a good size bar. Ive been here a few times with a group of friends and weve always had a pretty good time. Be warned, their happy hour free buffet is just a lukewarm tray of sausage and peppers. The sauce tastes like its mostly ketchup, which is highly unappealing. I usually order something off the menu, and so far that hasnt disappointed. Their nachos are great, as are their burgers. Just a heads up: the butter they serve with the bread they bring to the table is actually honey butter. Its fairly sweet and quite a surprise Id youre not expecting it! Of course they have regular butter available if you ask, if the honey butter isnt to taste.

I tried to take my 80 year old Mom there for Mothers Day. I made a reservation for noon for three people two weeks prior leaving my cell number. We arrived exactly at noon and was told to "wait one moment" several times. Twenty minutes later I had to remind the receptionist we were waiting with an elderly woman. Seeing my annoyance the receptionist told us to sit at a small table in front of the bar in the walkway. We were not comfortable there so moved to a booth which prompted the manager to inform us to get up because a booth is for six people. I helped my mother up and slowly and left the premises. I will not be returning any time soon. They are understaffed for holidays and overbooked for brunches. I hope this review helps someone to avoid the holiday crowd if you like good service.

We called and asked if they still had the lobster special. We arrived 10 minutes later and sure enough they were sold out. The manager unapologetically came over and rudely told us 4 tables ordered lobsters in the last ten minutes. That was a lie we looked around. His quote was " I ordered 60 lobsters what do you want from me". Then walked away. I cant believe someone with such poor social skills would be in charge of a restaurant. We will never go back.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff & decent beer selection but we ordered a steak sandwich and a steak "medium" and were served food that was pink and/or raw throughout. The waitress took the steak back to the kitchen and returned less than 5 minutes later and it was cooked slightly more but was still barely rare. Might try going again and stick to bar food only: burgers, wings, etc.

Unfortunately Horrible! My family and I ordered take out lunch, we picked it up, only to arrive home to soggy fish and chips, like soaked in oil; a MOLDY chefs salad; a overcooked burger, and once again soggy fries. Ordered medium drinks, we got tiny tiny courtesy cups.... the ony thing that came correct was our daughters chicken strips. WHAT A WASTE.

Jackson hall is a wonderful place to eat and meet for drinks. The menu has a few unusual things that end up being very yummy. I love the deserts from here deep fried Twinkie with strawberries is a personal favorite. I highly recommend eating here or meeting friends for drinks here.

Food is great with big portions and good service. Our table had marinated skirt steak, fish and chips and filet mignon. Everything was delicious we didnt order dessert because most of us was stuffed with dinner. Great restaurant I would certainly come again.

New owners for about eight weeks. Place is really good. Get the Long Island clam chowder. Combination of Manhattan and New England. To die for. They make everything in house. Homemade and delicious. They make their own butter. Highly recommend!

Food is decent but the service is awful. There is literally only one nice, courteous employee there. Beware - if you have a party here, all of your guests will be thirsty and no servers will pay attention to your entire group.
