This is place is great if you like the following things(all in the middle of the day when there is hardly anyone else in there): 1. Making lots of eye contact with all of the waitstaff while they chat and avoid actually working. 2. Waiting fifteen minutes before finally moving to the bar because those same waitstaff have periodically served people around you and not even checked on you. 3. Waiting another ten minutes to get a draft poured which you are sitting 6 feet from. (After having to remind the bartender, of course) 4. Getting 6 pieces of pita with a $10 plate of subpar hummus and having your request for more pita forgotten. 5. Having to request a bill adjustment after being charged for someone elses beer. 6. Getting your card charged for that bill 3 times, tying up a nice little chunk of money in your account for days. 7. Being late for your movie because 10 minutes worth of service took 50 minutes. 8. Being a masochist. Save yourself the headache and frustration and go to Rock Bottom, Rusty Tacos, or eat a piece of a sandwich you found in the gutter, youll be better off.

Although this restaurant has an excellent selection of beers and a good cocktail menu, do not expect the staff to know anything about anything on the menu. Our waiter was slow, ill-informed, and generally ignorant. He did not have any information to provide on the contents of the menu, and he was even less informed on the various beers. When asked if a dish was spicey, his answer was, "I dont know; I dont like it so I dont order it." Well, good job chap, I do believe I asked about the state of an entree, not your opinion. In case you were wondering, it WAS spicey, which is why we asked, and had he answered our question with any semblance of professionalism, we would NOT have ordered it. It is loud in there as well, so dont expect to have conversation easily. Overall, it could be a good restaurant, perhaps, if they actually trained the entire staff and worked on some sound-dampening acoustics.

i stoped in to bar Louie to have a drink and some food. No one acknowledged my wife and I. We sat at the bar just in front of the main door. One of the bartenders was talking to a few of what I think where his buddies. We sat for about 5 minutes before another bartender came over to help. Took our order and as they should checked our ids. I ordered nachos with three sauces. The bartenders had no personality and it seemed to us like we where a berden and a inconvenience. The chips where stale and soft. My beer was hiding behind the counter menus and my wife had to let me know thats where the bartender had placed it. You know I understand ppl have bad days and are not always happy. In this type of environment you have to still be pleasant and willing to help. I just feel at this point bar Louie was not up to the task and will need a pepp-talk by the management team. Bar Louis is just ok!!

A group of friends and I have been going to bar louie for almost 2 years regularly. The same people so much so that the one bartender gaves us a deal. Tonight we realized that the last 2 years that we have been bringing our friends in they have been autograting us and not saying anything knowing we always pay cash and its not apparent with cash. Unfortunately tonight one person paid credit card and realized we were almost doubling tipping on a 200 bill. Nice way to treat your regulars. Exactly how to bring in people and word of mouth- the best way to advertise. On top of the that, the manager who didnt know us because he and the newish bartender didnt know us enough didnt care enough to do anything.Ive been a gm of a restaurant before and thats no way to treat regulars

I went here tonight with my wife and had a good experience until the waitress returned with my bill without my debit card. She apologized and simply offered me a coupon for a free appetizer and drink. She additionally didnt take my information down and assured me "people are looking for it", which it did not seem like it to me. A free drink and appetizer isnt much compared to a breach in my financial information, an inability to payy bills until a new card arrives, and waiting an extra amount of time awkwardly in the restaurant with no one else offering to assist(like a manager). Giving me coupons just makes me feel like you are trying to upsell me after losing my personal information for anyome to pick up. Unfortunately this restaurant lost regular customers.

We used to come here all the time but had a really bad experience, emailed the manager and got a free meal. Then tried again, it was still absolutely the worst service, waited literally a year to go back and had the worst service again. The most recent visit, our food was forgotten, a drink was totally forgotten, an order was wrong and didnt even come with the side it was supposed to (fries or tots), we sat waiting for 30 min to get our checks and had to grab a different server and describe the physical appearance of our original server (b/c we never got a name) to get him so we can get checks. This same situation has happened twice where the server is avoiding the table and doing miscilanious cleaning instead of taking care of us. So disappointed.

Pros: Has a bar inside, spacious. Cons: Service extremely slow. Expect to get your food an hour later after youve ordered. Ludicrous thing is I ordered a meatball pasta and asked for parmesan cheese and was charged 0.75. Really?! Also, my entree didnt come with a piece of bread and I asked for some and the waitress told me my entree didnt come with it. Ok, so you cant bring some out? Of course, extra fee for bread too! Crazy! Not only that, my meatball platter came out cold and the meatballs were hard as a rock. All my friends complained about the slow, poor service and unpleasant meals served as well. Will not be visiting this place again.

Ok, normally this place is awesome. The atmosphere, the food/drink, and the staff is amazing. Tonight, I hope its a fluke! Our drinks werent made correctly, both were strong and over poured. Our food, the apps and the burgers, all of it cold. We walk in and it took 15-20 minutes to get even a hello from any of the staff. Neither of our burgers were cooked to what we ordered. Im seriously hoping this is a fluke, normally I love coming in here. The sad part on the wait, there was 6 wait staff and neither the bar nor tables were all that full when we walked in.

Party of 4. Valentines weekend. Horrible, horrible experience. So many issues with the meal, the server, the whole experience. Discussions with the manager, he seemed friendly and helpful at first then out of nowhere became explosive and angry. Pretty scary. He ended up comping us for the whole meal which was the fair and the right thing to do. But, was incredibly disturbing experiencing his reaction. The only explanation we could come up with was that he must have been on coke or something like that. Freaky, needless to say well never go there again.
