Upon walking in the door we were advised that our party was too large to eat there having 7 people. The manager said she would see what she could do but that we would have to finish our dinner in a certain time limit. We were seated, but should have taken the first part of the encounter as a sign and went somewhere else. Both women were grumpy and got defensive every time that we asked a question or we requested something, it was as if they didnt have time for their customers and they were very rude when they answered. I heard them tell another group that they if they werent happy with sitting where they were, then they should go somewhere else. So I guess we werent the only ones. Also be prepared, they absolutely refuse to split the bill. If you even ask to split the bill they will call they cops and tell them that you are refusing to pay your bill.

This place is a mecca. We absolutely MUST eat here every time we are in town. The steaks are amazing and the price unbeatable. This is the place for steaks, period. The rest of the food is basic but good. You are coming to QUincys for steak. The only thing on the menu Sun-Thurs is Filet Mignon. Your only choice is how big, how you want it cooked, and what you want on your baked potato. This is simple hometown dining at its finest. To those complaining about the service. This is a small town restaurant. If you expect to have your butt wiped like in a large city this is not the place for you. You walk in with a big city attitude and think you can push your server around and create you own menu etc. the attitude will be returned. You will not be missed.

This restaurant is great, but to be fair you are going to have be laid back and not high maintenance. If you are high maintenance the restaurant employees are not afraid to tell you off and put you in your place. If this upsets you and you dont come back they arent crying. They get plenty of local and regular customers to stay open. I am reading these reviews from people that were upset with their experience and they need to realize that its just the way the restaurant operates. The food is good, reliable, and the price is right. Take it or leave it people.

The food is cheap and I think I know why . . . My 6 oz. filet was tough and overcooked. It tasted like an overseasoned cheap cut or grade of meat. I would hasten to guess that they do not serve USDA "prime" or "choice" in order to keep the prices down. We have tried almost every restaurant in Leadville (apres ski) and although the place was packed, the service was less than desirable (one waitress asked if my husband would mind "keeping his fork" after his salad). We will definately skip this place in the future!

Was really surprised by the "menu". There was only 3 dinner options, ribs, sirloin, and lasagna. But they were out of lasagna. No options for sides. Got seated and waited over 25 minutes for a server to even notice us. No one ever came by to greet us or bring us water. Ended up leaving and going to a family Mexican restaurant a few blocks down and they attended us as soon as we sat down! The food may have been good at Quincys but I guess Ill never get to find out since I wasnt even able to order....

We watched two other groups seated 10 and 20 minutes after us get their food first - why? because they were locals. We had to wait 45 minutes for our prime rib and lasagna. The food is good - but as the manager explained to me: "if you wanted your food quickly - you shouldve gone to a fast food restaurant". The food is decent, but not worth the poor customer service and wait times for food.

Worst steak Ive ever eaten (and Im not that picky). I decided to try the $9 steak based off the great reviews for the restaurant... bad decision. A $9 filet mignon, tastes like a $9 filet mignon. Top that off with slow service. The best thing about my meal was the baked potato, try anywhere else in town or leave your tastebuds at the door.

The service was excellent and the idea is there.. I just didnt enjoy the steak. Toughest piece of meat Ive had in a long while..and it tasted like roast beef. I will give them another shot at a later date due to it could have been an off day or the cook didnt know what medium is yet. Again..the service was great and my coke was cold.

Traveled to Denver many years ago and we did a circle around the state. Somehow ended up in Leadville and ate at this place. I think this was at least 10 years ago but to date this is the best filet for the best price I have ever had. If Im ever in Denver again I will make the drive to eat here and for the beautiful drive

Be prepared to order steak (or veggie lasagna) because thats all they have ... literally! Prices are reasonable, but the steak is sub par. Only one brand of wine. If you know what youre getting into, go for it, but if youre looking for a good quality dinner make sure you understand what youre getting into.

"Are you familiar with our menu?" Why, yes, I am in fact familiar with their delectable bacon-wrapped filet mignon, served with a caesar salad and baked potato; I would recommend it to anyone. If you visit Leadville, you HAVE to come eat here at least once, no excuses.

Heat Depot works hard to meet my needs and ensure my satisfaction. Installers did a great job putting in my new, and attractive Amana A/C and Carrier 96% efficient replacement furnace. Mike and Raul were professional and clean, and answered all of my questions☺

Inexpensive, basic steak and baked potato (dont expect anything else on the menu). Salad had too much dressing for my liking. Would probably choose any other food option given the choice but there isnt much around here. Service was good. Overall, satisfactory.

Its simple, affordable, and delicious! Very good, very filling fillet mignon dinner for as little as $7--which includes a giant baked potato, a dinner salad, and a roll. Right on the main strip of town--a great place to stop on your way to Copper Mountain!

This is a fabulous place to eat. The food is delicious and at a very affordable price. We ate here as a family of 11 and everyone was well pleased with the whole experience. Would love to come back again ! Thank you Quincys for doing things right !

Water was served in a plastic cup while other drinks served in a glass, bread was under baked, steak was unseasoned, and the sirloin was cooked to medium well when ordered as rare. Finally who serves a slice of melon with a steak dinner?

Quincys is a must visit when in Colorado. After a long day of hiking, a prime rib dinner, during the weekend is something I frequently enjoy. Ive been to their Leadville & BV location, both were exceptional steak dinner.

A limited menu but they do it very, very well. Steak is a great bargain and the featured dish. They also have an excellent vegetarian lasagne. Highly recommended simple, filling, well made dinner at a great price.
