I hate writing negative reviews. But I cannot miss out on writing this because of my terrible experience. I love Sonic, especially on a hot day. I love getting drinks there. I have been to this Sonic many times and never had issues. Yesterday I went there at happy hour and parked. After 15 minutes of not receiving my food but watching several workers deliver food to others, I rang in. I was nice and just asked what the status was. Their reply was, "its on its way out". The guy next to me had to ring in twice to ask where his food was as well. He finally go his food (he arrive AFTER I did), but I was still waiting with a hangry 5 year old in my car. 30 minutes goes by, and I ring in again. . . ."Is my food coming out yet?" "yes it will be right out" 45 minutes goes by, and I was livid by then. Everyone who had been parked beside me was gone. . . .everyone who walked up to the front to order was gone, and the line of drive through cars were all gone. I said, "I have been waiting for my order for 45 minutes. Can you tell me where my food is?" "the manager will be right out." I was not impressed with this so called manager who said. . . .so sorry. . .what did you order? I will go get it for you. He brings it out after a few minutes. I was happy. We got our order! Yay! I open my bag, and there were two corn dogs in stead of one. . . I think, "ok this is fine. He is apologizing by giving me two" NOPE! I opened one up, and it was HALF EATEN!!!!! I call the manager back out again. . . .I could hardly speak I was so angry. He said a few choice cuss words and said. . . ."I can bring you anything on the house. . . .do you want anything?" I said. . . ." am done. I dont want anything. I just want to leave this place." What started out as a fun little after school trip to Sonic turned into a nightmare. So disappointed. in their customer service. I didnt get a single thing free except the half eaten corn dog! No offer for a free drink. . . .or to refund my money. . . or anything.

Used to be a great place and my regular stop because it is conveniently right near my house on my way home from work. Now I wouldnt go there if someone paid me. Whoever is the new manager in the last 6 months or so is running this place into the ground, and service has gotten worse and worse as time has gone by. Finally last week went to the drive thru, sat in the line literally without moving for 20 minutes. I was stuck there because I had the misfortune of pulling up just where the curve up to the order menu starts, blocking you in, and someone pulled up behind me. Finally after 30 minutes and making it about three feet forward, the guy behind me pulled off (five people behind him gave up before him) and I quickly threw it in reverse and got the heck out of there without having ever ordered. The last straw was today with the drive-thru wrapped around a good portion of the building. I pull up to one of the stalls as I had no desire to have a similar experience, and I push the button. After waiting a full ten minutes, a woman comes onto the speaker and said she is "sorry" for the inconvenience but they are only serving drive thru customers - this despite the fact that I can see at least 8 different cars in other stalls, some of whom got served by carhops while I was waiting! Never going back to this place again - sad to see it run into the ground like this but I have no desire to spend 30+ minutes in a line to get "fast" food when I can drive a bit out of the way to a decent Sonic and get my food within 3-5 minutes with little or no wait for ordering.

Terrible! Yesterday, I went to this location to order 2 of their new special, the FOOTLONG & TOTS deal. Should be pretty easy, even though I have no personal experience in procuring fast food orders. 2 dogs, 2 tots, and 1 medium cherry limeade(treat yo self). Then the business of requesting the flavors of aforementioned footlongs, which were chili cheese and cheesy bacon. Upon requesting these different flavors, the heavens parted and flaming shards of chaos reigned from the sky. Confusion came from the metal box which I was having a food-centric conversation with. My head became engulfed in confusing phrases like, "you wanted which ones?", "how many?", "did you want a meal?". The response I SHOULD have given was, "I apologize if I may have begun speaking a language that has not been my native tongue for the last 30+ years. I will begin to converse with you in our commonly shared language hitherto. I bring disgrace upon my family and as always, the Shaolin Temple." Sonic needs to upgrade their service boxes to include cameras. This way, the person taking the order can see the utter disgust on their customers faces when they are subjected to unorthodox order clarifications. Needless to say, I surrendered. I said "Nevermind, goodbye" and left to find somewhere else to eat. I went to the vastly superior BURGER KING, submitted my order(within 20 seconds with NO OTHER INFORMATION REQUIRED), sat in my car at the drive-thru window for less than 3 minutes, and I was on my way. Now I understand why fast food workers would like $15/hour.

This place is not underrated, it is just that bad. I get the honor of being the 100th review of this abomination of a fast food joint. The last two times Ive gone here, Ive walked away without any food. The first time was a couple of months ago. I pressed the red button to order and the employee responded back with something along the lines of, "We cannot serve anybody right now because we dont have enough workers." The place was basically shut down even though some employees were there. Im not one to judge too quickly. Perhaps they had a bunch of people quit at the same time and were scrambling to replenish their staff. Although, like other people who have left reviews here, I saw several employees standing around outside taking a break. Then I went back today. On a Friday. At noon. And ONE person was working in the entire restaurant. Because of that, all of the stalls were shut down and they (or he, I should say) were only doing drive-through. The drive-through itself was probably taking at least half an hour to get your food, so I drove away. I also saw somebody walking around on the roof, who Id imagine was another employee, just not working. Im done with this place. The new manager is a moron to understaff this place as much as they do. Stop pinching pennies and pay some more damn employees. This place needs to shut down.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. My family and I stopped in for Lunch. Was told there were no onions rings so I ordered torts. I watched one boy walk in and order food he was a worker there. When his order was ready a girl from inside came out to give him his food she was still wearing her gloves. She then went back inside never took off her gloves or washed her hands and proceeded to bag food. She then came out with someone elses order still wearing her gloves and went back inside again and started touching food. I then watched another girl who was inside making drinks for customers grabbing candy toppings with her bare hands and putting them in the drinks. When we finally revived our order the hotdogs were cold and our tater tots were soggy. This is not the first bad experience we had at this Sonic Location but it will Definitely be the last. I helped open 3 Sonic locations when they first came to Denver and I can honestly say this is not how we trained the employees I had working for me. Over the last couple if years Sonic has really went down hill and not just at this location but this is the worst one i have been to yet. Very disappointed to say the very least.
