Ive been meaning to try this place for months and finally had the opportunity this evening. I am a sucker for independently-owned, original coffee shops, and have had a hard time finding ones I love that are NOT in the heart of downtown Denver. FINALLY I have one--and its only 15 mins from home! I highly recommend this place. Its bright, inviting, laid-back, and ideal for working, writing, studying, etc. (and the background music matches the atmosphere). I absolutely love the little potted plants everywhere too, but even without that, itd be a winner. And the real highlight? I drank probably the BEST latte Ive ever had--the seasonal Rose. It was better than I had anticipated--the perfect amount of sweetness--and Im sad its only seasonal! But Im guessing, judging by the quality I experienced, every other espresso drink is just as delicious. Long review short, I think I found my perfect working and writing location! Win!

Im in LOVE. Ive waited a while to give a review so I could try a few different items. First Ill start with the staff, Ive always had a great experience, they are welcoming and knowledgeable of the products they serve. It seems they know me by name, or at least what I order! Second Ill start with the menu, Ive had the cold brew maybe four different ways (backcountry is the best imo), their cappuccinos are to die for (8oz) only.... but get ready for tea on tap, because they e let me taste it.... wow it dances inky tastebuds. Ok ok but the decor is fabulous, love the countertops, those cacti make me feel closer to earth. These arent your normal baristas, they are working hard to bring great quality products and hand made as well. So happy this place is as close to home as it is. Thank you Sonder!

I am a huge fan of independent coffee shops and I prefer them over the more mainstream shops. I was overjoyed when SONDER opened up within walking distance from where I live and that they served both coffee and tea. As an avid tea (and picky) tea drinker, I have fallen in love with their Mountain Berry. SONDER is a lively and welcoming place with baristas who are warm and genuine, greeting you with a big smile and a desire to make you feel at home. This has become both my new homework spot and meeting spot. There is a drink for everyone, made with care and attention. From homemade syrups to kombucha, you are sure to find a drink to fall in love with.

This place started out as a great little coffee shop for the neighborhood. Unfortunately as it goes for good shops, it is now always saturated with people that squat there and is not close to being a reliable spot to find a table anymore. Similarly as it can get extremely busy, the service tends to drop dramatically as they apparently struggle to deal with the overloaded demand. However, the coffee is usually not bad at all but it is no longer accessible in a reliable way and thus its no longer worth attempting (the last 3 times I have gone have been dreadful). Unfortunately thats what happens when you have a good business in a tiny spot :/

Ive been looking for a coffee shop like this near Aurora for quite some time now! The natural lighting of the place creates a lively atmosphere thats perfect for reading, doing work or simply chatting with a friend. I was very pleased with the drink I ordered. The house-made ginger pear syrup in my latte was quite tasty and did not overpower the coffee flavor. I was also thrilled to find out that they use Corvus coffee beans to make their drinks, my favorite roasters. Finally found a local place with excellent coffee, a cozy atmosphere and extremely friendly service. Couldnt be anymore pleased.

These days its hard to find people who just genuinely care about other people. It seems everyone is too busy or they have to be polite just because you are a customer. But you dont find that at SONDER. No matter who is working you find someone who will always take the time to have a conversation and connect with. And at the same time have delicious Coffee or Tea, with homemade syrups. What makes this Coffee Shop set apart from the rest is the warm people along with delicious Coffee and Tea in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.

I cannot say enough great things about this coffee shop. Simple, elegant and so warm and welcoming! The Honey Lavender is amazing, the kombucha they offer tastes fantastic. They even made a vanilla steamer for my son! The owners absolutely love getting to know people, so dont be afraid to get to tell them your story. This is a very nice and stylish coffee shop. The espresso drinks are excellent, but unfortunately I was sold old, stale chocolate croissants in the past week. Each time I asked whether they were fresh and each time the barista assured me they were, but then they were clearly from the day before or even older. At $4.75 a piece, which is steep for a croissant to begin with, this is unacceptable.

Ive been on the search for a quality coffee shop in Aurora, so when Sonder opened I had to check it out! Now I am smitten with it! The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, the coffee is superb and the staff are genuine and always friendly. They make you feel at home and answer any questions you have about coffee, no coffee snobs here! Definitely my new homework spot!

The atmosphere and style of this coffee shop is really simple and open. The hibiscus tea taste really good, its a little tart but when sugar is added it taste perfect. It would be nice though if more options were on the menu. There is not much to eat other than croissants, macaroons, and other pastries.

Literally drops of heaven!!! I havent been able to drink much coffee because pregnancy hormones make almost every cup of coffee leave me with a terrible bitter after taste. Not this vanilla latte! Perfect blend of flavor! Next time I will sit and have a mug in house. Amazing atmosphere!

I had noticed Sonder went in a couple weeks ago and had been wanting to stop in; and it was well worth the the visit! The house-made syrups nicely enhanced the delicate roast of the coffees they use - in my head, this is how proper coffee should taste. Ill definitely be going back!

This is a nice location with a great selection of coffees and teas. The staff is friendly and prepares the drinks with beautiful flourishes. The location is a little bit small, it can sometimes be hard to find a table. Everything is really clean and well decorated.

I love this cafe for its quality and service. Ever since I moved to Aurora from LA, I had to go to downtown Denver if I ever wanted an authentic, quality cup of coffee... now I can go to Sonder. I recommend their latte and their house kombucha. Its my favorite.

This coffee house is great. The owners run the show and they have great specialty coffees. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Came to study a bit and the internet is blazing. My wife had a few lattes that were expertly made. Its a must visit place.

Very friendly baristas! If you dont know anything about specialty coffee this is where to go to learn! I would recommend trying vanilla latte, all their syrups are made in house and taste amazing! Also try the nitro and komucha on tap!
