Service - This was the highlight of our experience. The waitress was very nice and professional. There was a gentleman that appeared to be the Manager (perhaps in his 30s). He too was very accommodating and friendly. The same cannot be said for the older bartender however. He was not friendly...rather cold actually. Atmosphere - This was English Pub meets Las Vegas tacky. I have been to many a British Pub, on both sides of the pond, but this one does not have that comfortable pub decor. Menu - Okay this one stops the train! They do not have the item that I and, I dare say, most Americans desire. Thats right, they have NO FISH AND CHIPS! Well, to be fair they have an item called "New world fish and chips" but why in the world do they not have the classic version? What I mean to say is the item they offer is not fried fish! Come on guys! Is your fish fryer broken? Get it fixed. This is what half of my group had intended to order. So I reluctantly ordered the above which is broiled fish. Yes, I KNOW that it’s better for me but it is not the same. Food - Okay so when my BROILED fish arrived it was BURNED HARD on the BOTTOM! sigh! How can you even serve a BURNED piece of fish???!!! Drinks - I am an English Cider lover. Sadly in Colorado our choices are limited by restrictions. But nevertheless I ordered the Strongbow. When what to my horrified eyes should appear? Some genius (back to the grumpy American bartender Im afraid) decided to put my cider in a tall flute style glass! This is not hard guys but let me spell it out for you...Ales and Ciders go into pint size mugs or glasses, full stop. I even suspect my "pint" was not. In other words, although tall, the glass was very thin. I suspect the management thought this a good way to skimp on my serving. Double sigh! I was SO looking forward to a pleasant time last night. For the LIFE OF ME I cannot understand why so many positive responses/reviews are listed here. This just simply is not accurate. And I LOVE British Pubs on both sides of the Atlantic. But this was a VERY VERY disappointing service. I hope to hear one day they have corrected the problems above. I would very much like to visit for a pleasant experience at Pints Pub in the future.

I was very disappointed on a visit to Pints Pub this weekend. Id been there roughly ten years before and had a fantastic experience. This time, I took my brother and a friend because I wanted him to try actual cask-conditioned ale. Unfortunately, the Lancer IPA and the Dark Star -- and the several other beer offerings that we tried -- were not particularly good. They were all significantly more bitter than a cask of properly-kept ale ought ever to be (even if it is, technically a pint of "bitters" which still shouldnt have this sort of flavor). Ive had the good fortune to taste many of the excellent local offerings in England in many CAMRA-approved pubs, tasting wonderful beers like Pure UBU, Wherry, and so forth. This beer seems to have little in common with the fantastic offerings now on tap across the ocean. Additionally, the service was lack-luster -- our waitress seemed to be smoldering with some sort of strange resentment. Its certainly not authentic "European-style" service -- Ive never had anything but genteel or even outright warm service in England, and in France (famous for its supposedly "hostile" servers), the indifference of a waiter certainly isnt the same thing as the hostility of the waitress at Pints. This is all very unfortunate, because I *want* to support a place that brews its own cask-conditioned ale -- a rare art form in the States -- and because when I used to go there in the past, it was a much better establishment. My hope is that theyll get back to keeping their beer properly (and I must assume it is a problem of management rather than an inherent feature of the beers since I cannot imagine anyone brewing swill like that on purpose...!)...

Many negative reviews on here, but mine shall not be one of them. Upon first impression, the outside is very British. Walking up the short steps to receive the food I had ordered for lunch, I entered the door into a quaint, quiet, but pleasing atmosphere. It was then that I approached the counter. I wasnt there long before the barkeep approached and asked if I was "The one who ordered the lamb stew." I said cheerily, yes, and he said it wasnt quite ready yet, and I was early. He said, "Here have a water, hydration is important, as you know out there on your bike." When he went behind into the kitchen was when I noticed the absolutely astounding array of liquor alone, then I noticed the majority of it was all Single Malt Scotch!!!! Oh how excited I was to see Balvenie 12,14,15,17 Yr old, and Carribbean cask, and that is just one brand!! Next, the food. It came in a white bag, and I paid, tipped, and left (the barkeep almost forgot to charge me lol). Arriving back at my work desk, I dug in. The soup came in a solo coffee cup (large) with a lid, a traditional hard large biscuit, and salad with Bleu Cheese (I chose that). Mannnn, even the dressing was good!! The lamb stew I ordered was super traditional, thick meat and potatoes - Awesome. Unfortunately this was just a lunch experience, and thats the reason for my four stars. I will soon go back to try some excellent whiskey, and in-house conditioned traditional cask-style ale! If you are looking for a slightly more quiet, ma-and-pa style place, with excellent and unique selection, this is just the spot.

Where do I start with this disgusting place. First things first dont ask to see the kitchen here, its got to be filthy. First the server who sat me down was super rude and not very helpful. When I asked if they had a certain type of liquor she rolled her eyes and said yes... And when I gleefully expressed that they are the only place I can find in Denver who has it she just starred at me blankly. I ordered my drink and waited 15 minutes, I was sitting 15 ft from the bar and nobody was there, not sure what the hold up was, needless to say the original server stopped serving me and a very nice girl who obviously had no real serving experience started serving me, she was goofy and awkward and didnt know what condiments went with my food... When my drink finally came it was in a tall giant glass as apposed to a tumbler like it is traditionally served.. Inside was a USED 7-11 slurpy straw (and I hope washed) how cheap can you get, so gross? For an english style pub I would highly recommend you steer clear of any Indian styled food as the curry in my tuna salad tasted like total crap... The salad was a giant pile of iceburg lettuce like overflowing on a giant plate, no other greens, a few small tomatoes, and cheap american cheese on top. Oversized proportions of the least nutritional and flavorful lettuce in the world. F me, how can the cook expect people to want to leave their house to eat this garbage... If Gordon Ramsey knew about this place he would throw a fit and hopefully stab the owner, the cook, and the service, were counting on you Gordon..
