I typically go to this place because its less busier than Pho Duy and Pho 95. I never ever write reviews and I cant help but write one today. First of all my order came out wrong and when I brought it up to the gentleman he rolled his eyes and said well do you want me to make you a new one or just bring out what you requested.. Me being nice asked them just to bring out what I asked for and ill manage with what I have... when It comes time to pay I noticed that they over charged me for one bowl of pho and spring rolls. When I questioned them they said the meat on the side was extra, yes I understand that.. but they also charged for their mistake- so charged me for double sides when I didnt even order it. When I told them it was their mistake he admitted to it but said we have to charge you.. so moral of the story I shouldve told them to fix my order, maybe then I wouldve gotten charged just for what I ordered or MAYBE they wouldve charged me for two bowls of Pho- who knows? The worse thing was that the whole time while I was eating they were speaking in Vietnamese about me and I said hey Im Vietnamese so I understand you, did they stop? no just a shrug of cluelessness. The money isnt an issue and clearly I paid way more than what one bowl of pho and spring rolls should be and I tipped well. Being from Colorado and Vietnamese I know what good pho is. I give people many chances but I truly hope the ownership of this place can train the staff to 1. learn from their mistakes 2. dont upcharge for their mistakes especially when you admit it. 3. dont speak Vietnamese in front of people whether they are Vietnamese or not. Its really hard to sit and enjoy your over priced tasteless pho when this happens.

I have came to this same pho place for years, always get the same dish. Chicken rice noodle bowl. How ever this most recent visit was not as usual. I was served pork and told that it was chicken. I informed three different workers that I had not been given chicken, and it was pork. All three workers said to me.. "no it is chicken" I did not eat the dish, because I know the difference between chicken and pork... I am a regular and often get the chicken. I gave the dish back to the workers, they did not bring me chicken. They let me sit at the table with my group of friends without food, thinking they were going to bring out a chicken rice noodle bowl. Never happened. I offered to pay for appetizer since I "did not get a dish." When I went up to front to pay.. I was told from the girl that I had complained before to get free food. This was extremely false, I was appalled that they had made such false accusations. The lady told me I am not welcome back. Ruined my entire day, never had such an experience at any other restaurants. Although there food is great, their customer service is absent and the majority of a business is customer service. Still cant believe they lied to my face telling me Ive done this before. Good thing there are 40 other Phos on federal!

Its not bad by any stretch, but its just not good... 9 bucks for a large is a great price, and theres a good amount of meat in it. But, it tastes like the most basic of everything - like basic meat, and thin broth with little to no flavor. I feel really bad giving low stars, but there are so many good places out there - when in comparison it just doesnt make sense to give it anything higher. I tried it twice too, just to make sure - both times was very dissapointed. Pho 555 right across the street is much better, and then of course the king Pho Duy is right up the street... nothing bad to say about this place, but certainly nothing good with so many other better options so close!

The bun combination bowl is one of the best Ive ever had and that includes D.C. (Eden Center), Wichita, KS, Kansas City, MO, Albuquerque, NM, Las Cruces, NM, Memphis, TN, and many others. If I had to list anything bad it would be that there is so much food in the bowl that it is difficult to stir all the noodles and ingredients to evenly spread around the sauce(s)...but too much food is never a bad thing! Great place, friendly staff, nice owner that personally pays a visit to say hello, and ten times better than the way over-priced pho restaurant at the 16th Street Mall on 16th and Champa.

The dinner I took out from Pho 96 tonight was one of the most delightful meals I have had in a long time. I say delightful because I had no idea what to expect, and what I received was awesome. I am 100% sure I have never taken out a meal that fresh in my life (and I am 55). Talk about farm to table! The huge bag of bean sprouts and basil that came with the meal (to be added in just before eating it) was better than I buy at the farmers market. If I lived in Denver (instead of just visiting), I would take out from this place at least once a week.

I have been coming to Pho 96 since they have opened . The quality and consistency in the food and customer service is always 100% . Top picks are the ca phe sua da , grilled beef plate and pho bo vien with tôm . To top it all off you are always greeted with a warm smile from the pretty girl at the counter , one day at a time and she will be my wife ! But dont come here for her "she is mine " come in for the food you will not be disappointed !

Pho is good here; broth is a simpler, more clear, less aromatic spice variety different from other places on Federal Blvd. Good though. Ca phe sua da is also solid. On my Sunday afternoon lunch here, the restaurants soundtrack included Katy Perry "Dark Horse", Rihanna " Please dont stop the music", and Lady Gaga "Pokerface" & "Applause", Mark Ronson "Uptown funk"; it was a bit odd, but not unpleasant.

I went there for pho today and when I got back to work I was unhappy to see the broth was filled up to the very top. There was no room at all to put any noodles or vegetables in it. I went to carefully move it to the sink to dump some out, and in the process I burnt my hand badly. The food is delicious, but Im in a lot of unnecessary pain. Great food but sometimes less is more!

This is one of my go to spots for pho and I love how theyre open late on the weekends! No matter what time of day you go; they will still treat you like family! As far as the food goes, everyone knows the broth makes the pho and Pho 96 hits it out the park! I dont have to add much for it to be to my liking. But all and all everything is pretty good here; come check it out!

The most reliable pho restaurant in Denver! When we dont eat here at least once a week, my husband gets the itch! Love the egg rolls here...not sure what their secret is but they are phenom! We are also up OBSESSED with the veggie broth. We havent had the regular broth in a long time but that is great as well! Their service is always on point and very friendly.
