I decided to give this restaurant a try because of the high reviews. More importantly, everything appeared to be ok, when I first walked into the doors. I was greeted by the waiter, who was very professional and courteous. Even though, they did not have any lasagna dishes; that I was hoping to sink my teeth into. Because I love Italian food! But he did suggest the Chicken Parmesan. Then he redirected me to the bar, so I could place my to-go order. And this is where everything started to go bad for my customer service experience!!! I can honestly say, that I am very sickened, offended, and extremely disappointed with the bar tender’s attitude toward me as a paying customer. When I first sat down, he greeted every customer without hesitation except for me. He just completely ignored me. Finally after sitting there for a few minutes, he asked me if he could help me. I told him, that the order the waiter just handed him was my to-go order. Next, he asked me if I wanted something to drink. I said water will be fine. He put the glass down hard and aggressive, as though he was slinging it toward me. I didn’t think much of his unnecessary negative reaction at first, until he handed me a bill that was $77.81. Which was 3 ½ times higher, than my actual bill of $21.60(which is still over priced, for such a small portion). He walked away, when I was about him why was my bill so high? When he returned he looked at the bill asked me what my name was and my order? And that’s when he realized he handed me the wrong bill. Of which he should have verified the order and name, before he just gave me someone else’s bill; that I could have ended up paying by mistake….? There was another friendly and neighborly customer, that started a conversation with me.. ..And the other customers passing by and in the background seemed pretty cool and laid back as well. But what sealed the deal for my bad rating and review of this place, was when the Bartender asked me if I needed utensils with my to-go-order. I said sure, thank you kindly. Then he just threw the plastic utensils on the counter, instead of putting them in the bag or just handing them too me. And furthermore, to add injury to insult, he had the audacity to call me “brother” during this entire horrible customer services experience. Many individuals reading this review, can agree that racism still exist in the United State of America and will be here until JESUS THE CHRIST 2nd coming! For It Is Written in Romans Chapter 13 verse 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. And JESUS said in the Gopsel of Matthew Chapter 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Matthew Chapter 12 verse 50 whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

I had high expectations because I love Flower Child and True Foods, same owner. We arrived on a weekend for their brunch- lunch menu. They have a covered outdoor front patio area in front, but we opted to be inside. North Italia is a beautiful restaurant, inviting one in. We were seated in the far corner, which I liked because it gave us a good view of the entire restaurant. However, it took a long time for a server to come to our table. I think the front hostess folks need to have better communication with the wait staff. Khalid, our server was attentive, informative and gracious. I ordered an ice tea and later my friend and I decided on a glass of prosecco or two! Food: we shared the Arancini,: crispy mushroom risotto stuffed with scamorza cheese, which look like meatballs, but these are made with risotto, deep fried and presented in a hot iron skillet with a very tasty red sauce. Then we shared the deep fried calamari, crispy fried over arugula in a lemon vinaigrette. This was perfectly cooked and paired. The greens and calamari were so delicious! It could be a nice simple salad, but we ate this as one of our starters. However, my friend thought the calamari was over fried. I thought the calamari was perfect! Next, the main courses. I ordered the Short Rib Hash. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The Hash was crispy and a bit spicy with the red pepper flakes. If you do not like hot spices, then beware. I loved it. The two fried eggs were perfectly fried over easy with grilled toast with sprinkled parmasan cheese. My friend ordered the fungi pizza. It looked delicious and she told me it was really yummy. She took the rest home and her daughter ate it later and said it was yummy too. We finished our meal with another glass of prosecco and shared the strawberry tart! This was such a beautiful presentation, we had to photograph it! Overall, Khalid was an excellent server! I told my friends to come here and they also had a great time, but they also encountered a lag time between when they were seated and when someone came over to serve them. Their server was Nikki and once Nikki apologized, and the manager came over to their table, the service was great. My friends loved Nikki and loved the food!

AMAZING!!!!!! This was our first time there (last night) but rest assure we will be regulars now! eating out is one of our hobbies and when it comes to food we are pretty tough critics! Having said that I will say this was amongst the BEST Italian foods we have EVER had!!! and the staff were amazing too, I think our servers name was Griffin?! who was AWESOME, it is such a pity he wont be there much longer since he is moving out of state or we would ALWAYS ask for him, his knowledge of the menu and his awesome recommendations were DEAD ON. In my opinion Italian food is pretty straight forward and some what simple, I mean there is only so much you can do with spaghetti and meat balls right? but some how these guys found a way to put their twist on it and make it AMAZING and different than anything else you have ever had!!! for example the red sauce tasted like NOTHING else I have ever had! it was as if they just picked the tomatoes out of their back yard and made it into a sauce! With a twist and personality, sooooooooooo delicious. And this went on about all the dishes we tried, since any time we go to a new place we try out many dishes even though that it is only me, my wife and our 4 year old son we had 2 appetizer dishes and 3 main courses and...all AWESOME. and their salted caramel dessert....OMG!..... I will keep it short, I think if heaven had a taste, this is what it would be! that’s how good it was. Thank you guys for an amazing meal, keep it going, we will be back to see you very soon and will bring our friends with us. Thanks again,, Your guests from 2/26/2014 around 6:30-8:15PM! :)

Spent Valentines weekend at the JW Marriott down the street. It was honestly a phenomenal weekend until our last meal at North. Food was okay, felt the service was so slow and at the end, we were literally nickel and dimed every single thing. This included a last second ask from the waiter to us for a lemonade refill; this was after I sent the card to be paid, and what I thought was a nice gesture on their part they just rung me up a second time for another refill. I dont mind spending the money, but pairing these phony kind gestures with slower-than-normal attentiveness really soured what was otherwise a good weekend in Cherry Creek. I wouldnt come back here.
