We ordered delivery thru a service. Food was boring, soggy, and unimpressive. Wont do that again. Also, they put corn and peas on the rice as garnish. Odd, I dont remember anyone doing that before. It tasted like frozen vegetables. Not so good. Sorry, I know this E. Evans establishment has been around for a long time. Oh-the delivery service was Dine In Delivery and they delivered in less than an hour. Best part of the deal. Too bad they delivered a 1 Star dinner.

If the chips and salsa are fresh and good then Im happy. When the salsa is as amazing as it is at La Fogata then sign me up! They keep refilling it and you keep eating it, and youre lucky if you have room for your dinner. Toss in a beer or a margarita and you have a happy night. I had the carnitas and they were tender and yummy. The green chili was good, and the guacamole was tasty. Im looking forward to trying other dishes in the future.

We recently ate a La Fogata in Thonton, CO. Our appetizer came out still frozen in the middle. The replacement appetizer came out, still cold, but not frozen. We ordered a number 2 combo plate. The food was served luke warm. I left most of my food on my plate. We both had food poisoning the next day. The only thing we had both eaten was at La Fogata. Needless to say we will never eat there again. A total disappointment all the way around.

Ive been coming here for several years and its a very reliable, fairly priced, decent Mexican restaurant. The pink Margaritas are very good and their house-entrees are all mostly quite good as well. Despite the traffic on Quincy, sitting on the patio at dusk is enjoyable. If youre in the mood for Mexican and you want someplace thats going to give you exactly that (no super-surprises - just good food), then this is the place.

Some of the worst Mexican food Ive ever had. My wife ordered menudo and it was nothing but chili powder in water. My carne abodado was the same, the marinade was nothing but overpowering red chili with little other flavor. Green chili was bland and more like brown gravy. It was just bad food. I dont understand the reviews this place gets, its not even mediocre Mexican food. Tons of better places in south Denver area.

The food here can only be described as marginally adequate - certainly not bad, but not really worth looking forward to either. The service varies enormously - some staff are clueless whereas others are excellent. Beware - they dont serve everything on the menu; they claim the menu is due for replacement but they havent made any temporary updates. The price, however, is great - but perhaps you get what you pay for.

2 out 4 people got food poison. Was there 2 days ago, the only common food that the 2 people that got sick was the carne asada burrito, thank goodness the little kid only had bean and rice. This restaurant used to be decent food with a nice atmosphere, now the food was edible not good, on top of that to get food poisoning. my wife still has stomach cramps from the food. eat at your own risk.

Best happy hour in town. If you do the margaritas, get them on the rocks. I think they use less tequila in the blended ones for some reason. The place is usually pretty busy during happy hour, which is a good sign, if you ask me. The food is great. I love the staff and anyone who says otherwise is hanging out with Charlie Sheen too much.

The service was a little slow, but that could have been due to any number of reasons. The food was really good - Im not a huge fan of Mexican food, but this was very tasty. I had the Chimichanga and it was a little spicy, but nothing that a seasoned mexican food eater couldnt handle. Would recommend if youre in the area!

I had the pork tamale platter with green chili. Some green chili is too tangy and sour/salty. Their green chili is deliciosa!--so were the tamales, rice, and beans. The blue cabo margarita is potent & will definitely hit the spot. Great staff, good strong margaritas, and good authentic food. Way to go La Fogata!

My experience was as much about the food as it was the service. I was greeted by the exceedingly sweet hostess (whos name unfortunately escapes me) that listed the best options according to my taste. Francisco, the bartender, was also very accommodating throughout the meal. Overall great experience!

Ritas were very good, food is basic but very fresh, and therefore good. This place is a regular (American) neighborhood Mexican restaurant, but it has a loving owner who makes a big difference. This spot serves good quality food with a smile. I wish I could take it back to my home neighborhood.

This restaurant has great food, service and a beautiful set up to eat outdoors or indoors. My friend and I came here today for lunch and were very impressed. Everything we ate was so yummy! Also to mention the food was delivered at a great time, not a long wait! Great people and service!

Nice and strong margaritas! Fast service and great staff. If you want your food extra spicy, tell them so and they take care of you. Clean premises and nice decor. Not cafeteria-style food I am glad to say. Only wish they had a better waiting area as it gets very busy and crowded.

This place is pretty friggin tasty with good service. Ive had quite a few of the items on the menu and theyve all been good (come in for lunch on Fridays once or twice a month), so dont be afraid to try something besides a burrito or fajitas. Patio is great when in season.

Had a business dinner here. Fish tacos were pretty good. Servings were large for the entire group. Prices are reasonable. More spicy than the average Mexican food but that is a plus for me and some folks. Service was prompt and food came out fast.

I went for lunch and got the La Fogata Combo: a beef taco, tostada, enchilada and tamale with rice and beans. They were unfortunately all unremarkable. The complementary salsa and chips were good though. The server came by often and was very nice.

I lived in Mexico for 18 months and appreciate a good Mexican restaurant when I can find one. This place is so delicious! The food is phenomenal, the staff is so friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Would recommend it to anyone :)

Overall very good. Salsa was some of the best ever! The green chili was good, a little mild for me. The queso was just bad. Good quality in the rest of the meal so the queso was an overpriced disappointment. Great staff, good service
