Im a Karma Asian addict. I get their take out a few times a month and dine in regularly for happy hour too. Take out always arrives warm and well prepared. I have some food allergies and they are so cool about it and make sure the things Im allergic are taken out. The green curry is balanced between spicy, earthy with a hint of sweet. Definitely enough for two meals, as are most of Karmas dishes. The veggies are never over cooked. Cubes of tofu are lightly breaded and perfectly browned. Im not a big fan of tofu in general. But their sesame tofu rocks it and is only $6 during happy hour. You have to dine in for happy hour. I usually go with friends but it isnt uncommon to see a lady or gent flying solo. The spicy edame beans are a nice blend of blistered char taste, silky beans and hotness. I have had pad Thai from literally dozens of different restaurants coast to coast and their pad Thai is good. Its not my very favorite dish but its definitely very tasty and prepared similar to what you get at other Asian restaurants. Karma Asian is always good karma!

I called this place at 9.40 on a Wednesday just to ask him can I pick up something in the next five minutes. I knew they close at 10 but I was 20 minutes earlier and all I wanted was a hot and sour soup? But he just hung up on me saying closed. on the website it says 10 oclock I rang at 9:40 he didnt even give me a chance to say can I pick up a hot and sour which is already made in the next five minutes. Anyway it was a mistake just because I was hungry. Ive already experienced stuff like this in that place. the owner is the rudest man Ive ever come across. A couple months ago I got a hot and sour soup volcano beef and about $40 worth of food. it all was disgusting. The hot and sour soup was completely like burnt onion and syrupy it smelled like burnt onion. I threw almost everything I bought that night out. I dont normally write bad reviews like this but this is the second time. dont eat there do yourself a favor and go around the corner spicy basil so much nicer

I liked it! Went here for lunch. I had the wasabi noodles and M. had the curry noodles. Both were tasty and well executed. Of course there isnt hon-wasabi in the noodles, but whatever they did for flavoring worked for me, although I wouldnt have pegged it as wasabi.I liked also that they had reasonably priced lunch options. I didnt have to fork out $15, or $20, or $25 for lunch, although there were options. It seems these days like everything is $10 wherever I go, so I might as well get decent food for my money. The wait staff here was excellent--made eye contact w/in 2 seconds of us walking in the door, had us seated and ordered promptly. Which was good because our time was limited. Interesting to note that at ~1pm, it wasnt so hard to find metered street parking. We did see the meter guy on the prowl though, so pay attention.

Im amazed at these other reviews. I went in yesterday after calling in an order for 4:15. I show up at 4:10. I walk in and the guy just stares at me. I say "Hi! I put in an order for pick up." He responds rudely "Whats your name?" as if there are so many people ordering take out at 4:15. Anyways, he says "we havent even started it yet. Come back later." So I come back five minutes later. He is just starring at me. Doesnt say a word. I hand him my credit card, because Im not sure what else to do. He hands me the food, doesnt say anything else and walks away. At no point did anyone say hello, thank you, welcome, what can I do for you, your order is $9.12, etc. I can spend my money elsewhere. And btw - the food was subpar at best.

Fair prices, friendly & efficient staff. Its a little dark inside, but its clean with nice Asian culture & various Buddhist touches. The cuisine ranges from Thai to Chinese stirfrys to Vietnamese pho (soup) to Japanese (udon, sushi, etc). I have eaten here 4 times in the past 3 months and have yet to have a bad experience and always walk away satisfied. My east-coast americana mother even tried Thai for the first time here and left delighted. I highly suggest the pineapple cheese wontons with the sweet green mint dipping sauce they serve it with. Karma is an awesome little place that you would never think existed in the run-down building it is located in. Its also right around some great Broadway shopping.

WORST thai food Ive ever had. This was NOT pad thai (which I get all the time, all over the place). The sauce was sweet and disgusting. The drunken noodles were just ok, but in comparison to the pad thai, anything would have seemed delicious. The service was TERRIBLE. The manager grunted at us to sit at a bar table when we first came in, then told us we could sit thisclose to two other couples instead if we had to. We saw the rude server approximately two times. I am dumbfounded at all the great reviews. Maybe the owners wrote all these reviews themselves?? Go ANYWHERE else for dinner!

Karma is the best Asian food in town as far as Im concerned. The food is always AWESOME and so is the service! I live just on the border of "too far away to deliver", and they still manage to get here within an hour and the food is always hot. When I call them for delivery, they always know exactly who I am and where I live and they just confirm it for me. I cant say enough good things about this place and I cant believe that Ive waited this long to write a review. One more thing....treat yourself to the sesame balls. Seriously, they are amazing!

Let alone delivery or sit down, I ordered delivery & one of the best Asian food experiences Ive had! The delivery was extremely fast. The food (ribs/smoked salmon wontons/chicken lettuce wraps) was extremely great! Only thing Id add to the offering would be a sauce for the lettuce wraps...but, they were great without sauce which is a lot coming from me as the king of condiments & sauces. Highly recommended!!! Ignore the very few Google negative reviews, this place is prepared to fulfill your needs & if you have a bad experience, theyll make it right!

I absolutely love this place. My girlfriend and I go at least once a month. There hot and sour soup is the best Ive ever had, and the vegetables in the Woks are always amazingly fresh and crisp. The staff arent in any particular hurry, so dont go if youre in a rush, but they are polite and friendly. I cant say enough about the quality of food and very, very fair pricing. Go for lunch and get one of their boxes, its so much food at a great value!
