I was going here after work for a couple months now and i wont go back anymore. The staff are rude and the customer service is garbage. First off, i work/ have worked at quite a few restaurants so i know how to treat customers. Secondly, i have no problem with waiting 10-15 minutes for my sandwich. Lastly, they play the music loud so you cant hear them that good..which i have no problem with loud music, but dont get angry at customers when they cant hear you. That all being said, my bad experience at Cheba Hut went like this: After waiting about 10 min for my toasted la canna (italian) , the tall ginger guy called something that sounded like my name so i went up to the counter and asked if he said gabe? He rolls his eyes/shakes his head at me and rudely says "No! Thats why i said Craig!..." I didnt even know what to say so i just went back and sat down. I was truly astonished at how rude it was, and if i hadnt of already paid for my sandwich then i would have just left. Not even 2 minutes later i hear the guy say "nowwww we have Gabe" loud enough for me to hear while hes wrapping up the sandwich. I couldnt believe it. I just looked at him.. And it was then that he must of realized he was being a complete douchebag bc he then apologized half heartidly. I just took my sandwich, and said "no man, Im sorry." And walked out. I opened my sandwich on my way home to find that they hadnt even toasted it. Its just disappointing because I used to recommend this place to a lot of people but now itll be the opposite. Ill give my business elsewhere.

Service was miserable. I ordered a sandwich and stood near the end of the kitchen where theyre delivered. Two people who may have been employees came into the kitchen, made sandwiches and went to sit down with them. Meanwhile I waited 25 minutes for a sandwich only to find out when I asked that my sandwich had been sitting on the counter for 20 minutes of that time but no one bothered to tell the one guy (me) standing at the counter that his sandwich was ready. My "toasted" sub was cold by the time I got it. In addition, the kitchen which you can see into was filthy. Food all over the floor in there that was benign tracked out into the restaurant by employees as they went to get drinks and chitchat with one another. The surly female employee behind the counter who told me my sub had been sitting on the counter the whole time as if I was supposed to come around and get it wasnt wearing gloves. She was just reaching into the sandwich ingredients with her bare hands which she kept putting inside her baggy shirt. When she leaned over the counter to grab condiments her shirt kept landing in the sandwiches so it was filthy with grease. Not only would I NEVER go there again I will also be reporting them to the health department.

I have been going to Cheba Hut for many years and was excited that this new location opened close to where I work. Unfortunately, my first experience was disappointing. I only have 30 mins for lunch and it takes me about 5 mins to walk there. I called my order ahead so that I would not have to wait so long for my order once I got there. Understandably it was not done right when I got there, but it was not busy (maybe 2-3 other people inside). Even so I waited 25 minutes for my order without anyone calling my name. I finally asked about my order and it was sitting out on the counter already done. Needless to say I was frustrated, late getting back to work and had a lukewarm sandwich to boot. The staff, however was friendly and apologetic. Overall, disappointing but I will still try this location again.

You would think the place would be filled with (Positive Vibes Mon!), Their (short term Memory loss) really shows when you order a sandwich, Unless you dont shower on the reg, wear a Motet Hat with tons of Party Flare and a hint of Patchouli you dont get good customer service.. These Dudes Dont ABIDE! Most Bums would be over joyed with the fact you can be super high and make sandwiches for a job in the customer service industry..You dont like being called out for screwing someones sandwich up then dont work there, Be a construction worker might learn something on how easy you have it.."Alright Alright Alright...now stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

Food is great, the staff are rude. I waited 30 minutes for my sandwich before asking about it (everyone else who had ordered after me had already left with theirs). The people behind the counter just ignored me every time I tried to ask about it. I was finally able to get someones attention and she just said "your sandwich will be ready when its ready." I explained my situation to her and she couldnt find any ticket for my sandwich. They ended up just handing me another sandwich that was on the counter because they didnt know what it was and thought it could be mine. Turns out it wasnt mine. Again, the food is great but the staff are rude.

I love kitchy places and Cheba Hut fits the bill. Clever naming convention for subs, all of which are freshly prepared and delicious. They have great combinations and I had a really hard time deciding what to order. I opted for a special, the spicy poo with roast beef, turkey, provolone and spicy chipotle sauce which had a kick! Almost got the goo ball, a rice krispie treat with peanut butter but it was kind of hard, so i got a brownie which was chocolate and awesome. A great place for late night munchies and the perfect place to stop after the Great American Beer Festival!

This place is really great!! Great customer service and the food is bomb!!! We come in with our kids a lot!! Today though they did forget bacon one of the boys sandwiches and instead of bringing a side of bacon or taking the messed up one back they gave us a fresh sandwich how he wanted and let us keep the extra one!! It was just a really nice gesture and honestly great customer service to do that!! Come here and try their "strains!!!" They rock

I have always loved cheba hut but you guys are slipping these days. I always order the same sandwich the same way and the past 4 times my order was messed up. I always ask for no onions and to ad sprouts and I get home, unwrap my sandwich to find onions and no sprouts. Its not too hard to pick the onions off but I pay extra for the sprouts Im not getting. Im officially pissed, how hard is it to make a sandwich with 2 ingredient changes?

Staff never seems happy to be there, and based on my experience are rude everytime i go in, except the bartender she is nice. Chick with the mullet was playing with her nose ring and had her fingers all up in her nose then went and made sandwhiches, luckily she was wearing gloves. If it wasnt for the dank food i wouldnt keep going here.

Awesome sub shop. If you can get over (or into) the marijuana themed names, youll quickly realize this is one of the best places in Denver to get a quick sandwich. The beer selection is outstanding, and they have a full bar with about 8-10 seats at the bar. I like watching Rockies away games here, especially during happy hour.
