My fiancee and I have become fairly regular patrons of Bar Louie and normally the service is good, the food is good, and the drinks are great. The past two times being the exception to the rule. Tonight was the last time well set foot in this establishment. We came in to an obnoxiously loud environment, but its a bar so its to be expected at times. Open walking in we were greeted by two employees after waiting a few minutes who told us everything was open. We stepped out onto the balcony and waited for service. One employee looked at us not saying a word then was joined by a manager who said something to the employee they laughed then walked back inside without saying a word. We waited another 10 minutes then walked in, upon walking in we were briefly acknowledged by an employee who we asked for a manager. After a couple of minutes another employee asked if wed been helped. My fiancee told him that wed been waiting over 10 minutes for service and were now waiting for a manager, his response being "oh, cool" then walking away. The manager finally came over after wed been in the restaurant for over 20 minutes, to our surprise it was the same manager whod came out and seen us on the balcony. We expressed our disappointment to him, he didnt seem very interested our concerned and made some ridiculous offer to "make it right". Im severely disappointed in the way this establishment is now being run. Needless to say my fiancee are disgusted in what used to be a favor place of ours and wont be returning. Save yourself the headache and dont bother coming in.

We went in Nov 10th for the free meal for military promotion. It also happened to be $5 burger and fries. As a result, the place was packed. It took us a while to get seated. There was a group of people just waiting on the stairs and we didnt realize that we were supposed to seat ourselves. Once we realize this we found a spot for the two of us and sat down. We sat at the edge of an 8-top near another couple. We were greeted almost right away by a server in the bar area. He took our orders after giving us some recommendations. It took over an hour to get our food, but we were able to tide over with some chips. After there was a mix up as to where our food was supposed to go to and the long wait, a manager came to check on us and apologize for the delay. We definitely understood the delay was beyond their control, result of circumstance of multiple promotions. I had the BBQ Burger and tots. Patty had a great flavor and was perfect with a touch more BBQ sauce which the manager happily brought. My soldier had the voodoo pasta, excellent! Great spin on a New Orleans style dish. Tuesday $5 burger and fries is an an excellent deal (combined with 1/2 price apps until 7!) We will definitely be returning. Thank you for supporting the Military!

We came here today because our friends were there & we heard they were doing a Veterans Day special. So we came to join them, considering both of our husbands are veterans. Our friends got their food pretty quickly & we ordered maybe 15 minutes after them. An hour & 15 minutes after ordering we had to track our waitress down & asking where our food was. She checked & informed us that she didnt know where on of our orders was & the other they were out of. She asked us if we would like to place a new order & we declined. We were there before the dinner rush, never received our food, & were charged full price for our drinks. Nice way to honor your veterans! I worked in the food industry & at that point I would have had my manager speak to the table & maybe comp something. Maybe you should not offer a Veterans Day special if your restaurant is not equipped to take care of your veterans! Considering this place is right around the corner from where we live, we have been here on numerous occasions & the food is mediocre & the service is always bad! Will not be going back anymore!

I could not believe how horribly the management treated the people playing live music on Thursday 3/30/17. I was appalled. I witnessed the musicians (who I found out were traveling and not local) ask the people working there to turn their kitchen music down at least 5 times with my own eyes and ears. It was playing OVER the live music, thats how loud it was. The table behind us, tipped the musicians and left because it was so bad. As we were leaving the venue, I watched the manager yell and curse at one of the musicians while she walked away, letting the door slam behind her. If I had been playing, I would have got up, gathered my things and left. It made me never want to return to this establishment. Which sucks, but I dont want to dine somewhere that treats people so poorly. People even bought the overpriced drinks($20 for two well whiskey shots) for the musicians too, so they were bringing in even more money and were treated like crap.

Usually this place is really great, well, not tonight. Tonight my fiance and I went to this bar and waited 15 minutes to not be acknowledged. When someone finally did acknowledge us, I advised him that weve been waiting and now we had already asked another staff member for the manager. His reply was "cool, cool" with a smile nonetheless. This guy was one of the staff that watched us walk in and didnt acknowledge us for 15 minutes. There were maybe 20 people in the place! Well the manager tried to make up for it after giving us a ridiculous excuse about their lack of staff..... we walked out and are sad to say that we wont be returning. This is no excuse for poor customer service and losing a customer. Thats just bad business. Good luck Bar Louie! Youre rolling down hill pretty fast.

Lively, young, modern atmosphere. Everything is a bit overpriced, but at least it was all delicious! We had some of the Asian boneless wings and beef brisket sliders with tater tots. The wings were actually priced fairly for the amount you get. The sliders were a small portion for the price. But both were delectable, especially the sauces. I tried I new drink, a Sour Apple Mule(?), but didnt care for it since I prefer natural flavors. The bartender was more than happy to replace my drink with a regular Moscow Mule, when he noticed I wasnt loving the first one. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place if your looking to have a fun night out with your friends, and you dont mind spending a buck.

Horrible!!! Ok, so we go on a Thursday, hardly anyone there and wait over an hour for an appetizer (calimari) that was supposed to be hot but came out lukewarm at best! The drink I ordered, a Smores cocktail, tasted old like it was pre-made and was kinda stale. Then all out waiter could so was say sorry and "its coming." Mean while we were going to do dinner and a movie, but got an appetizer and had to leave so we didnt miss the movie, I mean come on! An hour for 1 appetizerwhich you screw up? I mean the drinks were at least kinda ok. My advice, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY on this place, which I forgot to add was quite expensive for what you got, small servings, ok to horrible taste. Yeah dont go here.
