I have never tasted such fresh food as I have from this place. Everything was delicious and fresh. I am hard to please when it comes to Indian food and this place has now become my new favorite. When I walked in, I noticed how lovely it was decorated and the ambiance was just what you would want in an Indian restaurant. My husband is very particular, as well, and he could not stop telling me how wonderful the food was. He ordered Chicken Ticca Saag and he said the spinach was so very fresh and good. I ordered the Chicken Ticca Masala and the sauce was mild and perfect. If you would want it spicy, I am sure they could spice it up but I loved it the way it was and would not want it spiced up for me. We also ordered Gulab Jamun and Kheer. The Gulab Jamun was crisp on the outside as it should be and was very delicious. The Kheer was very delicious. I also wish to comment on the prices, as well, which are phenomenal. They are low priced with fantastic food which is hard to find both at the same time. I am so happy that Castle Rock now has its own Indian restaurant and I dont have to travel 25 miles to get to one. Not only is it convenient but the customer service and food are just as wonderful! We will definitely be coming back.

Ill probably give this place another try and update my review if I do, but for my first time here, I was not impressed with this place at all. The food was mild. It didnt taste bad, just not a lot of flavor that youd expect from Indian dishes. The biggest reason I didnt like this place was the service. The waiters were not the whole problem, it was the time it took to get our food. We were there for dinner on a Tuesday night and the place was about 1/3 to 1/2 full. It took 30+ min to get our food after we ordered. As we looked around wondering where our food was, we noticed other tables were looking around too, waiting on there food. No apologizes or reasons were given to us as too why it took so long when it finally came. A simple "Were sorry its taking so long" from the waiter would have gone a long way, but we got none. As I said, Ill probably give this place another try, but best I can say is, if you like and know good Indian food, this place is just so-so. And hopefully youll get faster service than I did.

Their dinner has fantastic Indian food that is spicy if you ask for it. Their Lamb Vindaloo is extremely spicy and worth every penny. The plain naan is soft and perfect to help you shovel in more vindaloo. The lunch buffet is somewhat simple but gets to the point of having a quick lunch. Naan hasnt been available at the buffet the times I was there which meant you had to wait for someone to bring you a basket of it. Sometimes, quite a while. The buffet items have little to no spiciness, which apparently the locals prefer, so Ill keep quiet. ;) Food wise, everything here is just right. The only downside that seems to be true of most Indian restaurants, is that if you try to order anything beyond a beer or a poured wine, they have no bar skills to make mixed drinks. Even the simplest of drinks, such as a bourbon and coke, turned into a 10 minute ordeal. As long as you request something with a cap or a cork, theyll do fine.

Went for their lunch buffet on a saturday at noon . food is so so . nothing really to write home about . location is in the heart of downtown Castle rock . Parking is right around the corner and free . only 2 wait staff when we went in . not too many people when we ate but it quickly filled up . however one of the staff was busy eating her own meal leaving the other person scampering around seating people and getting drink orders ! She was totally unconcerned and continued to munch away at the bar while dirty plates and empty un refilled water glasses piled up From a food perspective its ok indian food . there are better restaurants near greenwood village and aurora in my opinion that can put out some lipsmacking indian food . IF you want something different in Castlerock to satisfy your curry craving then this will work . else drive a little upnorth for much better indian fare

In a single word, horrible!! I had to wait for a long time for my food to arrive. Id accept that if other services were good. I had a Groupon code which they refused to accept. They told me that I had to make a reservation. The restaurant was half full and I told them I can make a reservation right now. They told me I cannot do it right now. Id still accept that. But, the way the waiter was talking was very rude. So, I didnt put tip in the bill after all this. And to my surprise, I see that they put 18% gratuity to my bill. Instead of accepting their mistake and apologizing for it, they charged extra!! I opened a dispute case against them from my credit card dispute center. Lastly, I ordered a Biryani which was horrible. So, pathetic experience on a weekday night. Ill tell my friends to stay away from this cheap place.

This is pretty fantastic Indian food. Honestly, it is some of the best I have had in the Denver area. We have been for both the lunch buffet and dinner and while the buffet is solid, individual dishes are really where this restaurant shines. The servers and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The only partial complaint is that service tends to be slow, so plan to be there for a bit by bringing some friends to chat and relax in the warm atmosphere. It is perfect on a chilly winter night. Or come for the buffet instead where food is ready to go and there is no wait. Meal highlights: Chicken Tikka Masala (hard to go wrong with this one), Vegetable Pakora, Saag anything --but get it fresh.

Great food, engaging staff. Had vindaloo, butter chicken, and a special of lamb and paneer in spicy gravy. Good sized portions. We ordered dishes spicy which was perfect for us like spicy food. Good veggie samosas. Was in just after Diwali so the staff seemed very festive. Petty small place with 9-10 tables and 6 booths. Nice restrooms that are outside (a little odd). Great overall experience. Would highly recommend!! Update - been back 3 more times. Food still great and service good. Lamb or chicken vindaloo is great. One thing to be aware of is that for large parties, be prepared to have a longer meal due to the size of the kitchen.

Im a big fan of vindaloo because of the heat of the curry so we made our way down to this restaurant on a Monday night. We ordered a couple of appetizers to get us started. I debated if I would actually order a vindaloo because in my experience when a white girl asks for vindaloo in the US you get a mild vindaloo. I want to be able to feel the burn the next day. I ended up ordering it and it didnt disappoint. It was perfectly balanced between hot and flavor. I only gave it 4 stars because the service was a little slow and given it was a Monday night they could have been a little more attentive with the drinks.
