Its very easy to like Ticino. The food was very good, especially the wonderful crusty bread. The salads, pasta, and lasagna were all good. Be forewarned, if you select the spicy sauce, it is indeed spicy!! The service was warm and accommodating; a genuine family run restaurant experience. Pricing is fair, $$, and we appreciated their willingness to do a small side salad and a single scoop gelato dessert for those in our party who had lesser appetites. Indoor seating is limited, so if you dare show up without a reservation, you may end up seated at the bar, which we found is actually pretty nice. They could, perhaps, improve seating management a bit; there was a table open during our entire meal that was not offered to us.

We eat here often when in Avon. We have a place nearby within walking distance. We find the prices fair, the food excellent and the service nice and appropriate for a place like this. I dont agree with any of the other low ratings and am wondering if this is the same place that we frequent. There is a great choice on the menu and weve had the salads, various pasta and some of the gourmet pizza as well as other entrees. Our kids like it a lot (ah, the pasta) would also highly recommend it.

Do not go to this restaurant. I was served the wrong meal twice. Served pasta bolognese we ordered chicken parmesan. Second dish was a grilled chicken breast thrown on top of pasta. Waitress said she would not charge meal, then did charge us. Owner could not have been more rude. They were apologizing to every customer for getting their orders wrong. If you want a miserable evening this is then place for you. It was truly the worst dining experience of my life.

Called to order take-out and was told they had a "freeze" on take-out until 6:30pm. We called back at 6:30pm and then were told that we couldnt order more than 6 items. And then they wouldnt allow us to order one of the appetizers because it had to be served hot. On top of all that, the pizza was not worth the price and wasnt hot when we picked it up. They should have a take out menu that clarifies take-out restrictions.

We were looking for a Italian restaurant near our hotel and we found this hidden jewel. We sat on the patio and enjoyed people watching while enjoying our great food. The pizzas are excellent and the pasta Is made in house and is the best pasta I have ever had. We will be going back to Avon soon, and maybe just to go eat at Ticino!

Definitely worth going to. Very cozy and small dining area with a great atmosphere. Four out of our group of five had various combinations of the make your own pasta. Our server suggested combinations that worked well together when we had questions. You might want to call ahead to make a reservation depending on the time of year.

A lovely family owned restaurant that makes their own pasta! Absolutely delicious... we had 2 pasta dishes and 2 pizzas with the freshest salad for 4 people. Everything was so yummy we over-ate. Good wine list and home made limoncello! The staff and family were so welcoming. You must eat here! Not at all expensive!

We showed up 20 minutes late for a large pickup order (admittedly our bad), and the server rudely told us that they had already sold our 9 pizzas, 5 pastas, and 3 salads. He kept insisting that we were "two hours late" and that it was our fault we had no food to take home to our family.

Wonderful experience! The owner served our food and was more than accommodating. We had trouble seating 7 so he comped us with free tiramisu which was the best Ive ever had. Pizza is super authentic and flavorful. Price was great. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone

We stopped in for a late lunch. The service was very attentive and friendly. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs. The noodles were homemade and tasty. The sauce had just the right amount of spicy. We really enjoyed the meal and plan to go back.

So rude, as we opened the to go in the restaurant the owner said I have no seats available. Wow thats inviting. How about inviting us back... Or suggesting another day, maybe another time? Your snobby restaurant will never see me or my family.

Service absolutely awful! Waitress totally incompetent. I think shes only there because shes the managers girlfriend. Manager comped half the price of our meal and did not charge us for our wine. Avoid this place; its not worth the aggravation.

Incredible pizza and pasta, I highly recommend the stuffed jalapeno appetizer and the rosa sauce! Family run and the service is great. I would suggest making a reservation as it is on the smaller side and if it is nice out the patio is great!

The food is good, but very pricey. Salad and main course with one beer was $30. Ive had much better bargains in cities which are usually the most expensive places to eat. Service was slow as the staff was inadequate for the traffic.

We work down the hallway and go here regularly for lunch and on occasion early dinner. They are very friendly people and serve great pizzas. Avon is lucky to have them. I highly recommend the Mista salad, as well.

Best restaurant/food in Avon. Dont try and show up without a reservation, you may be disappointed. Highly recommend the La Rosa sauce. Has gluten free options too.

Best kept secret in Avon. Pizza or pasta or traditional Italian dishes. Owner on site and well trained and attentive staff. Great Cesar salad dressing. Homemade.

Ticino was fine, and it was lovely to sit in their outdoor area in back, but it wasnt great, and I would instead go back to Campo de Fiori in nearby Vail.

The food here is pricey but the taste is fantastic. A reservation is recommended, I often havent been able to get a table for a group of 4 without one.

Homemade spaghetti, gnocchi, fettuccini; nice Italian wine selection. Arguably the best Italian in the valley, though Ti Amo has a strong following.

Pretty solid! Portion size is okay but food is fresh and tasty. Wish the bread had been softer and more of it!

Pasta was great. A bit noisy due to the small space. Service was good. Will probably return in the future.
