This place is just a few minutes from my house so my dad and I go here whenever were wanting Chinese. We normally get the orange chicken with an order of the fried dumplings. The orange is pretty bland and the last time we went there we got the sesame chicken and it tasted exactly like the orange chicken. The dumplings are the best though and the only reason Id consider going there again. Theyre always fried really well, tasty, and the sauce they come with is really good. Weve only eaten at the restaurant once, weve gotten takeout every other time, and the food quality was the same-pretty bland and not great, but our waitress was really nice and attentive. All in all, the service is good but the food just isnt worth it

I read some of the reviews about this resteraunt and this is not true. I eat here several times a month and the food is excellent. The owner and staff are very friendly and always welcoming. If you are looking for an excellent Asian buffet you should eat here. You will not be dissapointed!!!! 23 May 2012- Once again I have noticed some really negative comments on here and I would like to set the record straight. This place is always busy with customers who obviously enjoy the food here. I am sitting here observing the customers coming in and most are regulars like myself. You should try the food out and you will see that its really good and the staff here is awesome. Dont pay the negative comments any attention.

We have lived in Colorado Springs for 16 years (former army family) and this is the best place to go for Chinese Food. We live in Gleneagle (across from the Air Force Academy) so the drive is about 30 minutes depending on traffic but its worth the drive. I love their sesame beef & chicken, shrimp & combination fried rice, egg rolls and the won ton soup. Oh my goodness and I love love love their shrimp lo mein. I get this almost everytime I go. My husband loves their mongolian beef & beef with brocolli. My husband always tries something different and he hasnt been disappointed. Their cooks are from China so this might be why their food tastes better than most restaurants here in Colorado Springs.

Horrible Eat In Experience- Maybe worth wild for order out or delivery. My wife and me decide that we would stop at the China Doll at 1300 after everyone else was gone back to post. Food was burnt into the pans because they refused to swap it out since there was not a lot of people. With ten people in there, maybe 3 egg rolls were at the buffet for the half hour I was there. Selection- VERY LITTLE.. (Maybe ten thing on the line) Dessert Bar- NOT STOCKED Service- IGNORED US (Seemed like- Why you wait till now to eat) Food Quality- BLAND and OVER COOKED- Shrimp was cooked so long it was hard on inside like a nut. Save your money, go Taco Bell across the street..

Im only giving them to stores because the lady who waited on me and my husband was nice but there were a few things that made me concerned for one behind the buffet they have a little sink and there were a bunch of plates with food in them and cups then on the sink their items like calculators which I didnt understand why that isnt separated then the shrimp wasnt cleaned properly with contestant that gave it a gritty taste which was really unappealing they didnt have many options this was the smallest Buffet Ive ever been to and the food did not look appealing at all honestly the only thing that was good was the egg roll the meat was cold I will not be returning.

I ordered for delivery, the rice was dry, and had very little egg, the soup had a nasty film in it (egg drop AND hot sand sour) their owners are rude, and I agree with last post, they ARE RACIST. I think their driver "La" is halfway retarded and cant drive to save his life. My order was not only late (an hour and a half total) but I suggest not even waiting the time to wait, NOT WORTH IT. I have also heard the owners sit on the other side of dining area, laughing and making fun of the white driver, giving him one order to deliver, then giving the other driver 3 to take. Not a good buisness, TRUST ME! !

this used to be a good restaurant been going for over 3 years but this year i decided that im no longer interested in buying food here the last time i ordered some orange chicken for me and my wife it was disgusting to be honest it tasted like left over seasame chicken that was burned on orange sauce and they tried to mix it together....the chicken was even different shades of brown yellow and orange and the sauce was burnt along with the chicken...paid 26 dollars for some burnt leftover chicken mix that tasted nothing like orange chicken....very dissapointing :( also we did not eat our food it was that bad

Dont let the old reviews fool you. This place has changed. We have a large family so we ordered a variety off of the menu. The sweet and sour sauce was watered down. The low mein was average. The beef with brocolli was average. I would like to tell you how the egg rolls and hot and sour soup was but they forgot them in our order. The crab rangoons had brely any filling. The egg drop soup was very bland. The sesame chicken was good, but who can screw that up? The fried rice was pathetic. It was barely brown and had a couple of specks of egg. Avoid this place!!!!

If youre looking to gorge yourself at the buffet dont even bother unless its within 25-30 minutes of it being available. Buffet is said to run until 2pm but it seems the staff and owners dont want to waste food so they only stock the buffet once right when it opens and thats it. Wait staff is 50/50. Ive had great ladies serving and some that were not so great and acted rather oddly. If youre in a pinch and your car breaks down out front and youre starving to death I say go for China Doll. Otherwise explore one of the other 2,492 Chinese joints in Colorado Springs.

The employees are the owners kids, the owners and kids have a bad attitude ALL the time, parents are racist against white people, and are always talking negatively in Chinese about everyone.. and the food is horrible, the only way they make their money is because the soldiers on base dont want to travel far to get food. I am reporting them to the better business bureau, and the Colorado EEOC. Their delivery driver, drives a piece of s*** Honda and thinks hes playing Mario kart all the time. .. and thinks hes tough always walking around with a mean mug on his face.

Probably the worst Chinese I have ever had, and I am truly not an overly picky person. Everything had an odd flavor like maybe they are using old oil to cook with. Came for their buffet that went till 2 pm. It was 1 pm and there we only very small amounts left in the pans and those amounts had been severely dried/overcooked from sitting out. My wife ordered from the menu. Sweet and sour shrimp. Could not taste shrimp. To much breading and that weird after taste. Egg drop soup is literally flavorless. Waitress was excellent though. Wont go back, wont recommend.
