Having been going to H-mart for years, Ive always passed this little cafe. And Ive always been intrigued. I finally took the time to check out this little gem. While Ive had different types of Middle Eastern food, Ive never had Afghani food. This restaurant was such a treat. During this meal, I first started off with some chai tea. Their chai generally comes with milk and sweetener. The flavor is slightly different than Indian chai in that its more mild, but still packed with flavor. But, I totally recommend this tea. It is really yummy! For my food dishes, I had that bolani appetizer and a chicken kabob for my main plate. The bolani is basically a potato turnover. Actually my boyfriend referred to it as a potato quesadilla without cheese. But, super delicious. And I would definitely eat it again. The chicken kabob was great. Chicken was really well cooked (not dry) with great flavor. The rice was aromatic and tasty. The veggies were fresh. All in all, the food was great and I really want to go back. Also, the server was really sweet and prompt. She made small talk with our group and made us feel super comfortable. And I never felt rushed during my meal.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!!!. I placed a to go order here. At the the least the resteraunt was filthy especially the restroom but when we arrive home I realized the order was missing the salad and a Kabob. I called the store and told them this. The girl who answered the phone was argumentative and said it was missing the salad because I ordered close to closing. I said you should have closed then if you could not do what the menu stated or gave me a discount. She then said well you should have checked your order before you left. When I made the comment " you tied the bag in a knot was I suppose to tear the bag open to check my order?" she stated in these exact words " I dont give a f**k what you do and I dont give a f**k that you are missing things" and hung up on me. In the 30 plus years I have ate out I have dealt with some bad restaurants but, this one is by far the worst one I have ever dealt with. I cannot stress enough DO NOT EAT HEAR!!!! your better off going to Burger King.

This place is hands down one of the best restaurants in Denver! The food here is never hit or miss, it is ALWAYS amazing! My husband and I have probably eaten here about 30+ times and it is always such a sweet experience. I feel bad for not reviewing it sooner because we eat here about once a week. The food is so full of unique flavors unlike anything I have ever had, not over spiced or bland. The waitress that takes our order has always been so friendly and refers to us as "that beautiful couple" which I really appreciate! <3 The price is perfect, especially for the amount and quality of food we get. The atmosphere here is also phenomenal, everything is so clean and well decorated. Finally, I have never had to wait for my food, the service is so fast. A big thank you to the beautiful people that own this place!

Beautiful food!! They also cater vegetarian & you can even get the kids a fresh hamburger & fries. Order off the menu or for eight bucks have the fresh buffet & enjoy eating it in a clean, relaxing atmosphere where staff are willing to look after you (especially Saha who is always smiling!) New owner took over few weeks ago and this place is revamped beautifully. We love to venture out to eat new food and found this place to be the bomb. Do yourself a favor guys and try at least once, knowing you are also supporting a local private restaurant. $7.99 for a wonderful chicken, lamb, yogurt, beans & vegetable meal, brown and white rice, home made pitas, salad & 2 different desserts? - Ridiculous!

I had been going to this place for a while. The food was good before they started the buffet but was way overpriced. I went for the Buffet 2 times and took to go boxes. The first time the lady let me take whatever I can fill in the box. The second time I went the guy was making a fuss that we dont do to go and was giving hard time to give an extra container for dessert. He ended up giving tiny container that is used for sauce but I did not like the experience and food wasnt that good. Samosas were spoiled and smelly. I had to throw them away. Buffet does not have much variety and only 1 Grill Chicken Item. No Lamb or Beef. I wont be going back again to this place.

After waiting all this time for my lamb which at the start i was told it was only going to take 30 minutes finally the replacement i was given was terrible it was sauce with chicken no bread or anything im very sad to see a restaurant do this never go here.

This was my first time coming to this place. I love it. The food was wonderful and service was good. I like small family owned restaurants because they are hard working people and they make everything perfect and testy. Our server was the owners daughter she was wonderful she helped us with menu. I will come back for sure. This is going to be my favorite place to eat.

The foods not same any more. The quality has dropped and the quantity of the food has lessened. Had awful customer service had to wait 40 Minutes for food where I used to wait for ten. We were then only people in the restaurant and the people, were too busy flirting and talking to each other than serve us. Poor experience and not coming back.

The owner was directly involved in the customer service and food preperation. I had the buffet that was priced reasonably. The food selection was fresh and diverse within the Afghan theme. The buffet line was very clean as was the restaurant in general. I had never eaten Afghan food previously, but very much enjoyed the experience and flavors.

Great (and totally new to me) food, awesome family & owners. Great place to visit on weeknights and strike up a conversation. Definitely the kind of place where you can (and should) ask for recommendations and pointers as to what to order and perhaps gain some cultural insight about foods from a place youve never been.

Terrific Afghanistan food. The Super Kabob meal is really good with a variety of the types of meat as well as a variety of sauces and curry. Portion sizes are great. Plenty of rice and naan with your meal. The server was really friendly and took great care of my group. I loved all the decorations in the restaurant.

Customer service is really worst. We went there twice and they said food is finished. We called before going there second time, they did not even tell us on call that they are not gonna serve. Such an unprofessional behavior of management. I wish i can give them no star at all. They deserve spoiled tomatoes & eggs

Had never been before, but we will definitely return. Management answered all our questions and made suggestions for food choices and it was all delicious with leftovers for the next day. Also talked with other patrons who gave us recommendations for our next visit. Management invited us back and we will be back.
