For the years Ive been visiting Chikara, I have never once been dissatisfied with their service and their food. Whenever someone asks for a good sushi restaurant, this place is honestly always my first thought! The employees are always personable, dishes always delicious, and I feel like the prices are very reasonable. I habitually order the Tonkatsu Bento with Gyoza, and the Dragon Roll. I love this restaurant so much, I wish I could put it into better words! ヾ(*´∀｀*)ﾉ

Two friends and I had dinner here yesterday and at the end of my meal a cockroach ran across my plate. I even caught it in a napkin and handed it to the sushi chef. They offered to discount only my plate. I eventually broke and agreed to pay for my drinks and appetizer. If they are running across my plate on the table they are also running all over the dishes in the kitchen. Expect a visit from the health inspector.

Wow i was really impressed by how much i really liked this place be for i would always go to Roseville or Sacramento for my japanese fix but after dinning here i really liked it and no i dont go just to eat sushi (but they do offerit ) i went to eat japanese food of course and they had a very good selection and was hard for me to make a desion but ultimately my food was really really good

I love this place!!! They have some awesome lunch specials throughout the week and I try to get in as often as I can. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating and they bend over backwards to meet any requests that you have. Anytime friends from out of town come to visit I make sure that Chikara is on the list of places I take them. Its always a fun experience.

Found this place on Yelp and decided to try it due to high rating. The rolls were a little skimp on the sushi and heavy with the rice. We did try the bacon wrapped salmon for the appetizers and it was delish. Probably the best thing we ordered that night. Not as great as I had hoped for but the service and chef are really nice.

I just had dinner here for the first time tonight: a combination of nigiri and rolls. Everything was GREAT! I eat a lot of sushi in a lot of different cities internationally. Based on this, my first experience, Chikara can definitely hold its own.

Love their sushi and their hot dishes too. Very reasonable prices too for the high quality. They use ribeye for the beef dishes and the calamari is amazing here. My husband and I have been coming here for years.

Sushi bar is great. Rolls are fresh and tasty. Seaweed salad incredible. Almost always have uni. Chefs are engaging and the staff is friendly.
