Just came from dinner at Lotus Inn, AWFUL! My mangolian beef was so salty i needed to add rice or i couldnt eat it. Then orange was spoiled and when i asked to replace it, was told there would be an extra charge. The fork was dirty, and the waiter came once and decided to overcharge me in the bill. When I asked why, he said he wanted to make sure hed get a bigger tip. The place is ran by mom/pop kind of a deal, very greedy and rude people trying to overcharge for anything they can, the price on the menu is not the same price youll get charged for. If you ask for anything, there will be a charge. With SO MANY places around them on ventura blvd, they really should value customers more, i definitely will not return to that dirty place again, plenty of other places next door, much cheaper with better food and definitely much nicer service.

I went there with my girlfriend the other night. The place looks better inside than out, clean and well kept. Service was fast and friendly. The menu was all "Americanized" Chinese food, far from authentic. They do have a full bar so thats a plus. Unfortunately, the food was horrible, reminiscent of Panda Express (which I would have preferred) and to make matters worse we both had stomach aches after eating there.

I cant give this restaurant a star. We had the Calamari as an appetizer and the fish was NOT fresh The shrimp in the Lo Mein noodles were also not fresh!. The Beef with snow Peas and the noodles were VERY greasy!. O.K. the Pan Fried Dumplings were o.k. but it shows 10 and we got 6. NEVER AGAIN.

Nice and clean looking. Food was above average... FYI - "New York" style Chow Mein DOES NOT HAVE ANY NOODLES!!!! It was just cabbage and noodly meat!! Apparently, this was as intended... but it was still listed under "Noodles". Meinus TWO stars for Pork&Cabbage...

Awesome prices for what you get. Their lunch special portions are huge, a lot more food than what youd expect for $6. The food is comparable to that of Yens, its nothing to write home about but its good enough. I think Ill be coming back here pretty soon.

Weve been there once and would not go back, since we heard from some friends that the owner would actually keep the leftover from the previous customers, so they can add them to your food if you are ordering the same dish.... scary

Great, "Americanized" Chinese food, as a prior reviewer put it. The best BBQ pork around. Cute decor and great service, reasonable lunch specials. Huge parking lot, nothing to complain about, yummy
