My husband and I have been coming to Sisley since 1993 and I am completely disappointed in how this restaurant has taken a turn for the worse. When we first starting coming here the service was amazing. You were greeted when you walked in, the servers were attentive, the food was consistently delicious, and you were thanked for coming in when you left. As of recent, dont count on this level of service. This past Saturday, at approximately 4:45-5:00 pm me and my 3 children decided to try out the newly remodeled Sisley. I have always loved their Italian chopped salad and my kids like their pizza so it was a no brainer that we would order or faves. When we were first seated we were given two menus and we asked for a childs menu since my 8 year old was interested in ordering off of it. We had to remind our server, Vanessa, 2 times then she finally came back and said, " Oh, we dont have any." I said ok and she did proceed to tell us what WAS on it. We then ordered our drinks(water) because I didnt feel like spending $3+ on sodas. She brought the waters then we didnt see her for a while. We looked over the menu, decided what we wanted, and waited. Finally Vanessa came over, we ordered, and asked if we could please have some breadsticks. She said, ok, and we didnt see her for 15 minutes or so. We saw the other tables around us, including a table of twelve, get their bread and appetizers while we sat and waited. When we did ask about the breadsticks she said with an irritated tone, " They just came out of the oven." When she did bring them they were hard as a rock. We ate them but were not pleased. When our food arrived my daughter asked for some fresh Parmesan for her pizza and it was never brought to the table. My son and I split a large chopped salad which USED to be plenty to share, but not now since the NEW Sisley opened. We feel that we did not receive the same level of service as the tables around us because our bill was considerably less than the tables around us. Obviously the table of twelve, which ordered alcohol, several appetizers, and numerous entrees, had a nice size bill ( probably $200-300 with a $50-60 tip). I am totally disappointed and disgusted with our service, the blatant inattentiveness, and the value we got for our food. When the bill came I could not compensate Vanessa for her "service". I left a dollar and asked her to give it to the bus boy that did all of the work. When we left we walked by 2 female hostesses and the manger and were not acknowledged or thanked for coming in. Overall, this was a huge disappointment.

My daughter and I had a horrible experience at this restaurant and will never go back. Service was slow and when I received a glass of wine that Id ordered, the glass was dirty. The server, Nicole, brought me another glass but the chardonnay was warm. I ordered the lasagna. My daughter wanted the shrimp scampi, but not in the family size, so asked if it came in a smaller portion. She was told yes, that it also came as an appetizer. That is not the case, though. It was only 4 shrimp and some sauce, no pasta. When she questioned Nicole, she denied telling her that so my daughter asked for pasta. She was charged almost $7 for plain pasta and in all paid only $6 less than she would have for the family sized portion of shrimp scampi, and she didnt even eat what they served. My lasagna was SO, SO salty I threw it away. It was hideous. I like salt on my beef and on french fries but this tasted like nothing but salt. In all we spent more than $50 for bad service, warm wine, and bad food. I will never return to Sisley. I would give them no stars if it was possible.

My husband and I along with our 5 kids- the youngest being 9- just attempted to eat at Sisily and were turned away. We just drove from LAX, just arriving home from a week long trip in Cancun, Mexico. We are a little tired and very hungry and dressed for summer. The restaurant maybe had 6 tables filled and a few bar drinkers. They asked if we would be ok sitting outside and preceded to walk me out to the patio to check the temperature. Although it was a little warm and I did notice a number of tables open inside the restaurant I agreed that my family would be fine with patio dining. Once back in the hostess area and after the rest of my crew showed up the hostess told me she was going to ask the "manager" if we could be seated outsie. The manager returned with clipboard in hand telling me the entire restaurant was "booked" and turned is away. Hard to believe that in the next 30 minutes the entire restaurant would be filled considering it wasnt even 1/4 full at the time - 1:30 pm. Very disappointing to say the least.

Well I was a little worried at first after reading a few of the online reviews -I had not been to Sisley in awhile because I had been out of town but I was quickly RELIEVED that I did! The Grilled Artichoke and the Fettuccine Carbonara Pasta dish I had was PERFECT as Always and my server Katie was darling and very helpful. My husband had a glass of the Charles Krug Zinfandel from their extensive wine list, which Katie recommended and it was Wonderful! I tried an Italian Margarita with the tiniest sugary rim made with an almond flavor that was really quite unique. My husband had the Eggplant Parmesan and a cup of their Manhattan Clam Chowder..both were really good. Stuffed but craving something sweet, I conned hubby into sharing a slice of the Pecan Caramel Cheesecake-OMG! Incredible is all I can say. It all leaves me to wonder if the people who reviewed here even went to the same place?? LOL Maybe its Karma? :) (my dishes were all clean...)

The restaurant is absolutely stunning after the recent complete remodel! Ive been going there for 12 yrs and have been getting the same 2 menu items and occasionally, 1 particular appetizer however, the menu has been drastically changed as well and last night on my anniversary, I had a really hard time finding something that I liked. I was so very disappointed that my favorite menu items were gone. Also, theyve always offered breadsticks and last night we had to ask after sitting there 10 minutes after we ordered. Again, the interior and the side patio are very well done and I will definitely be coming back to hang our and have drinks, but I think I will be choosing to dine elsewhere.

bad service...as my family and i approached the reception area to get seated, the receptionist was chatting with 2 or 3 servers...the servers seem to have noticed our group approaching so they all went back to their respective areas...the receptionist however, ignored us, even as i stood right in front of her...waited for approximately 30 seconds and still no acknowledgement...we left and grabbed a bite at the food court instead...the receptionist isnt too worried about generating business i suppose.

Came around late lunch time to give this place a shot. They are expensive to begin with which I was aware of walking in, only thing that bothered me with that was I got charged about $3 just to change red to meat sauce. Thats a drag. My final complaint is the bar. Looks good but needs much better beer on tap. Other than that the food was good (cheese ravioli) and large quantities and I always love bread sticks to start. Yum.
