Not my usual experience and quite disappointing. DINNER: Thursday (7/13/17) at 7:45 PM Reservation made this morning for 4 people. Upon arrival, we were sat immediately and given the choice to sit indoors or outdoors, which was nice. We order the GUACAMOLE + CHIPS to start and JALAPEÑO MARGARITAS. The guac was served with a strand of black hair in it, which definitely stuck out against the white bowl and light avo color. So obviously we informed the waitress and she brought out a new one and said that they would NOT be charging us for it. Margs were okay, I tasted more mixer than tequila though. For my entree, I ordered my usual (& favorite item on the menu, the CHICKEN FLAUTAS (listed as an Appetizer). They didnt taste like they had in the past and unfortunately, this to, was served with a black hair in it but before I could even show it to our friends my boyfriend grabbed the hair and threw it on the floor (he was a server once). Aside from the disgusting hair, the chicken was pretty dry and the guac & cream on top were pretty flavorless. The waitress brought our check and w/o looking at the bill a credit card was given & swiped. When she returned she gave us the receipt and 4 Margarita Vouchers. Apparently they forgot to remove the guacamole appetizer from the bill and rather than voiding out the charge they gave us vouchers, which are useless to my boyfriends parents who are visiting from Colorado Springs and go back Saturday. OVERALL: Very dissatisfied with this trip and it may be a deal breaker when it comes to future dining options.

We came in Friday evening for happy hour. I was a bit on the fence about coming here since i find the ambiance super cute but the reviews about service made me nervous. Nonetheless, I knew I would just have to figure it out for myself. When we arrived, all the seats at the bar are full and a handful of tables had guests seated for dinner. We walked towards one end of the bar since we didnt want to reach over the small groups at the bar. It took about 5-10 min to get someones attention at the bar for just a menu. We got the drink menu only to realize the happy hour menu wasnt on there. So of course, there I was waiting another 10 minutes just for the happy hour menu. Finally, we ordered our drinks, and they came out promptly. I ordered a jalapeno margarita and really enjoyed it. Not spicy like you would think and def not sugary either. Overall, ambiance was nice, drinks were fine - nothing iconic for me to come back for, and service sucked. Id rather find a place with better service for HH to get my moneys worth from my experience.

This hip Tex-Mex restaurant in the heart of West Hollywood has a killer jalapeño margarita. I repeat, KILLER JALAPENO MARGARITA. Happy hours are 5p - 7p where they offer their signature spicy margarita for $6 ... among other yummy bites and drinks. Their go-to item here are the BAJA SHRIMP TACOS that comes with a yummy side salad that has jalapeños in em, too. this place sure do love their jalapeños! If youre coming here on a cold day, one order of their TORTILLA SOUP will do you just right. Maybe chips and guac, too, but the soup alone is a great filler and tastes great. Theyre listed on Open Table so you can earn extra points by making reservations if you plan on visiting. Lunch time during the week is never, ever packed but happy hour draws a nice crowd.

I hate to even give it a single star and that is solely based on the first impression you get when you try to order a drink. I can not ever remember recieving so much attitude. Had I owned this establishment both bartenders that I encounter would have been fired many times over. There is never a reason to serve up attitude. Lets not forget this is a service industry and there main responsibility is to serve drinks in a timely friendly manner so to insure their guests enjoy there experience. It wasnt busy I wont go into all the details but I quickly closed my tab and regret the 10% tip I left dont plan on ever returning.

Nestled in the heart of WeHos restaurant and bar district Tortilla Republic has a vibrant vibe with a menu in which the chef has put some thought into it. The tequila menu is extensive and has something for the causal connoisseur to the seasoned veteran. Surprisingly our Sunday visit was a busy night to attend. Be sure to set up reservations as this was key to attaining prompt service. The atmosphere is loud so keep that in mind when planning your visit. It not a huge place though the mirrors help sell you in that sense.

My hubby wanted breakfast burrito and this little cafe came up with awesome reviews. A homey hole in the wall place getting ready for lunch around 10 am. The foot traffic was impressive. The nice owner got up and took our made to order bacon, chorizo, huevos, papas, cebollas, cilantro, and salsa. They were so good. The owner even gave some cabbages for pupusas. Definitely will return for pupusas and buffet of awesome home cooked meals. Thank you!!

Yes and No - Great atmosphere and margaritas. Very trendy and chic. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 was the service. We stopped in just for drinks and sat at the bar. Bartenders were a little too preoccupied with looking at themselves in the mirror and flirting with one another. I mean, I get it, its LA, but come on, save it for when youre off the clock. Margaritas were delicious though! Maybe sitting at a table would get you better service.

Love Tortilla Republic. Beautiful artful decor - great service and excellent mexican food. In addition to traditional mexican fare, there are some very creative and delicious choices to try -- nice vegetarian choices too. And everything goes great with the Margaritas! Easy public lot parking behind the restaurant is really convenient. If you like modern mexican food and great design -- you will love "TR" : )

A Mexican restaurant with a classy California twist serving fresh and original dishes. The sweet potato fries and ceviche were wonderful. Request to sit inside and not on the patio during the Winter. We made the mistake and felt like we were being roasted by their industrial heaters. There is a small parking behind the restaurant but it fills up fast. Also more expensive parking in a garage behind the restaurant.

We were looking for a taqueria style restaurant & this was number 1 on the list. Food was good, home cooked/grill style Mexican food. Was advertised as food for sharing but portions were very small. Pollo asado was 2 small chicken pieces, guacamole, slasa, 3 green onions & 4 corn tortillas. Sangria is good but strained of all fruit. I wouldnt go again but if someone wanted to meet there Id be down.

Delicious food! The service was great and very friendly. It was such a clean and contemporary atmosphere, and their heaters kept us warm after walking around in the cold outside. The appetizer we ordered (ceviche) was my favorite. Ive never really been a fan of fish, but I loved the swordfish and shrimp! Everything was wonderful, and I would definitely recommend the sweet potatoes fries!
