I love it when things work out in my favor as they usually do if I set my mind to it. It just so happened that all that places I wanted to try were located in the same area. Yay! We walked back here to try their signature lemonade but were surprised to learn that it was a lunch place as well and right on cue, my stomach started growling. The line was long but moved quick. The staff here is friendly and helpful. They will gladly let you sample the menu items and drinks until youre satisfied with your order. Everything looked so good I didnt quite know what I wanted but was happy to learn the portions could be split into 1/2 so if youre eager to try a bunch of things get the 2 portion and get 4 items. I went with the Israeli couscous. Im a big fan of couscous for its health benefits and loved that it had wild mushrooms, Parmesan and truffle vinaigrette. I wish my couscous at home tasted this good. My other portion was the pasta orecchiette with red sauce and mozzarella. It wasnt too heavy and overwhelming but rather light and refreshing. Next up was a colorful dish of chicken breast, oregano, almond slivers, and grapes. Sounds crazy but the combination really works. I completed my lunch portion with the creamy dill potatoes and also tried some of Jeff Fs sweet potato with pistachio which I also thought was an interesting blend of flavors. This was definitely a filling meal and hard to finish. I was full after a few bites. As for the lemonade, I tried their cucumber mint. Its a little tart but very refreshing. You cant really taste the cucumber. I would love to try their other drink combinations which I hear are squeezed fresh everyday.

This is a glorified soup, salad, and sandwich place. There’s no other of it’s kind. Gourmet, quality, flavorful and dynamic healthy fast food. They offer several vegetable side salads that are colorful, nutrient rich and in wonderfully dynamic ingredient combinations. Some of my favorites are: Curried cauliflower that has toasted almonds and raisins, arugula salad with feta and figs, butternut squash tossed in a southwest vinaigrette with corn nuts and fresh corn. They then offer land a sea items which are their seafood ad meet classic items such as seared ahi tuna, salmon salad in an avocado half, curried chicken salad, or buttermilk chicken cutlet. Then they offer various slow cooked braises, stews, and chilis that are all WONDERFUL. Some of these include chicken chili, miso short ribs, chicken meatballs, jerk chicken stew. They also offer sandwiches, and mac n cheese. Before you get to the register you’ll be bombarded with a display case of beautiful and tantalizing sugary treats: cupcakes, cake slices, cookies, macarons, and brownies. You will not be disappointed. Their not named Lemonade for nothing—they of course specialize in lemonades. Their all made with fresh juices and herbs and are incredibly refreshing. My favorites are Blueberry mint, watermelon rosemary, and cucumber lemonades. This place is one of the best things to happen to Los Angeles’ casual and fast dining scene.

We arrived on Saturday at about 8:00pm though we did note that Lemonade would close at 9:05pm. I opted for 3 market place items ($7.50) and selected the following: -Cauliflower, golden raisins, almonds & curry -Soba Noodle, Kimchi Marinated Vegetables, Toasted Peanuts, Sesame -Red Quinoa, Arugula, Fuji Apple, Sunflower, Pistachio The portions for my 3 marketplace items were just right--not too much and not too little. Some people may find the portion sizes to be on the smaller side but this was enough to fill me and my bf up. My bf opted to order the chicken pot pie braise ($7.00) and added a pretzel roll ($2.00) on the side. He loved it! He said it was not too salty and the dense pretzel roll, when soaked with the chicken pot pie stew, was delicious! We decided to split a blood orange lemonade ($3.00) and it was the perfect complement to our healthy meal. Once we paid for our food, we seated ourselves and dug in. Though our meal was delicious, I would say that Lemonade could do a better job of directing people on how to place their orders. Once you move past the marketplace section, it can become a bit confusing when trying to order a hot sandwich or a braised dish. There are no instructions detailing the process so this should be remedied.

Great quality! I ate here 2 years ago, and just ate here again recently and still just as great. Entrees: I love the plethora of fresh and healthy choices at their food bar. I never make it to their hot food bar of steaks / seafood / soups hehe. The portions are LARGE for the price. I think I had 4 or 5 portions for $9.25 and I took a small box home to-go. You really cant go wrong with their portion choices. Desserts: We tried their strawberry lemonade cake, and while I was initially hesitant because I am trying to avoid food coloring and overly sugary items - the taste was great! It tasted like very nice lemons and strawberry preserves.. it did not taste like plastic. Phew, yay for Lemonade. Ill always keep coming back! Though the Abbott Kinney location is the only one I have been to and only one I can speak for. Bonus! They have free WIFI!

Environment: So-so. Brightly lit, bustling with people and activity, often crowded with family, tourists and such, who can sometimes be messy. This is the only negtive. Venice can be a bit rough around the edges, but Lemonade provides a nice stop for a healthy meal with many different options. Service: The cooks and staff behind the counter are eager to help you select your meal. I think the service and staff there are excellent. Food: Delicious healthy options of fresh salads, sandwiches, soups. If you are vegan, other dietary limits... just ask. there are plenty of choices. They also have delicious desserts and wonderful LEMONADE flavors. Parking: Is tough, but I can usually find a spot behind the building at the alley meter parking, Street parking is rare and quite a find! Final : I enjoy. I gave it a A- or B+

This... is not a good Lemonade. Havent been to the others, but I can say, this is not a good one. Its horribly hit or miss, the first time I went, it was great, the second time I went it was okay, and the third time I went, the bread was STALE and gave me a stomach ache. Mind you - I had the same exact thing every time. Everyone who works here seems to hate their job, but that makes sense, since theyre essentially cafeteria ladies, sans hairnet. The people behind the counter will rush you, sneer at you, and whip your meal up with the enthusiasm and care of a McDonalds worker. This place is a chain cafeteria - remember that, and dont let its location or pane glass windows make you forget it. I, quite simply, dont trust the safety of the food here.

I love the cafeteria concept and the free samples. Staff is friendly and price is okay for the food youre getting. Stopped in for a lemonade, Mac and cheese and a macaroon. Lemonade was please, I think I mixed two and have the blueberry guava one. In the end it was too sweet and started drying out my throat/ still overall I liked it and would give a 2.5-3 out of 5. The Mac and cheese was tasteless and the consistency was too mushy for my liking. The macaron was okay. The filling was not solid enough so it didnt hold the cookies and I think the cookies were slightly too thick. But I do enjoy the size of the macaron. Overall, sweet little spot to spot and get a drink and a little bit. Nothing mind blowing
