Ceviche de Tres Ajis $13.25 - Similar to the Ceviche Mixto, but the difference is self-explanatory. Instead of just having the Aji Amarillo in the marinade, it also has the Rocoto, and Limo ajis along with oysters added into the fusion of explosive flavors. Although it was slightly over salted, it was my favorite of the two ceviches I tried here. Great combination of spice and sweetness from the peppers and spices along with the water-the-sides-of-your-mouth tartness from the lime juice and the salsa criolla. Will order nothing less than the Tres Ajis from now on… Arroz Con Mariscos $15.99 – This is essentially a Peruvian style paella with black tiger shrimp, scallops, squid, clams, mussels, red bell pepper, and scallions. The rice was rich, buttery, and impeccably seasoned. I’m happy that nothing was overcooked, and all was seasoned to perfection. There’s not much to say, but I must emphasize that it is well worth trying and devouring because of how good it is… Jalea Mixta $13.99 – A fried seafood platter consisting of green lipped mussels, clams, basa, calamari, octopus, and shrimp. All seasoned perfectly and garnished with fried yucca (cassava root), cancha, and house made tartar sauce, and salsa criolla (red onions pickled in lime juice, red wine vinegar, and salt). Cooked perfectly tender, and balanced with the acidity from the salsa criolla along with the richness and creaminess from the tartar sauce. It’s even better when you add the spicy green Aji (Peruvian chili pepper) sauce to the mixture! I’ve never wanted to lick my fingers clean this bad as I did while eating this meal…

Ive eaten there twice now. The first time I got the beef lomo, the second time which was just recently, I got the ceviche with a soda and at night my boyfriend got the beef lomo. Both times, the beef was tough and oily - I tried his at night. Nothing special at all, and quite expensive. For my order during the day, I ordered the ceviche and a tiny inka kola, and I paid $16 and some odd cents. Almost 17.00. And I got a little plastic container with pieces of fish that I could literally count on the fingers of two hands, sprinkled with hominey and charred seeds, and RUBBERY! Too expensive, gimmicky.. and its sad that even the ceviche isnt good - being that ceviche originated in Peru.

If you are looking to try something different, organic and absolutely amazing - checkout El Huarique! :) Peruvian food is bomb and this place is amazing. You know the food is good when you get insatiable cravings that can only be quenched with a spontaneous lunch with friends. My recommendations are: Three chillies ceviche & The chicken kabobs! YUM. Try this place if you are looking for something fresh, organic and super satisfying.

Me and friends stopped by here today, their main place I go to on the board walk was closed but the owner kindly referred me to his new place on the corner of windward and pacific. Im so glad they opened up a second place here in Venice because honestly their food is really good. I had their shrimp fried rice, it was tasty!Thank you to the kind service and delicious food! This place is literally a hole in the wall, but it has amazing Peruvian food. I have to say its the best Ive had in LA! Get the lomo saltado if youre new to food from peru or the arroz con mariscos. You cant go wrong with any choice. The only downside is that there is no parking, but if youre a Venice local I recommend walking or riding you bike there. Dont forget the side of fried platanos.!

Dont bother calling for delivery. They cannot deliver correctly - I have had the order missing 3 times ( 3 strikes your out!) and when I call to complain they tell me its not their problem that they only cook they dont deliver- and they hang up on me. Too bad the food is good - but their business model with the current delivery system does not work.

As my husband Said : it was the best lomo Saltado ever..., I tried cebiche and it also was delicious , yucas fritas also delicious with that green sauce, so good, i wish i live in L.A. to visit often. I really wanted to try more dishes but i was completely full ,Next time ill stop by for sure.

A little difficult to find parking but is usual for this area. The staff is not as friendly but food is worth it. Very tasty Lomo Saltado here and their chicha morada drink is very good too. They also give you a complimentary soup and bread when you dine in.

Im originally from Peru, and I know how peruvian food should taste. This is place has completely amazed me. I just had lomo saltado and it was definitely one of the best Ive had. I really recommend to have peruvian food.

easily one of my favorite spots in venice to eat. lomo and pollo saltado are classics, and the fish ceviche is a great value. order to go, and then hit the skate park or the beach and get some quality people watching in.

Ceviche, jalea, and lomo saltado were all delicious. Being peruvian I am always happy here. I came back twice in one day. Grab and inka kola in the bottle and enjoy some great food. Looking forward to my next visit!

Walked in got the pork sandwich. The sauce the chef makes is bomb. There is two, one green and one red. Small little place inside a building. You can easily miss it. Well worth it though
