Good down to earth dining plsce for breakfast (all day long makes me happy!), lunch or dinner. Menus covered a wide range of options. Wait staff friendly and attentive with the right balance of friendliness and service. Catagories and selections for casual dining and and options for salads, hot meals, burgers and other hot dishes i.e. American lunch and dinner meals are also on the menu Breakfast, bunch and childrens menus/options were also available. Our meals were served hot, the milk shakes looked good but I opted for a yummy hot chocolate topped with whipped cream, as the weather was cold and rainy outside. Addtionally, a perfect place to take young kids, families and elderly relatives for a hearty meal that wont break the budget. My elderly aunt who dined with me this evening and who uses a walker, and I will definitely return again. Disability friendly, with good handicap parking stagetically placed close to ramps to entrance. No stairs or steps to navigate. Good food, friendly & professional staff and reasonably priced for family dining. Ill be back eith my auntied again!!!!!!

Minus one star for bringing ranch instead of 1000 island dressing on my salad. Sorry but I watched you write down my order. How on earth do you write ranch and and 1000 island? MInus another because I asked for garlic fries as an appetizer, yet the fries didnt come until after all the food was on the table. Minus another star because I asked for mash potatoes and they gave me a baked potato. Seriously??? Minus the last star because I had to flag down another waitress to even get a refill on my cup of tea. No thanks...I used to like this place cause it is near family...but as of my last visit youve lost my business. Goodbye, its not me its you.

A clean comfortable restaurant that serves good food (in my opinion) at a reasonable price. I have eaten here with friends 3 times so far and find their service very good, friendly servers, and they get the food out FAST, at least on a Friday night. There is plenty of off-street parking, a full bar, and sports TV (but they keep the volume down and you cant see it from the dining area, which I think is a big plus). Im so tired of going into places where you have to shout to have a conversation. The Buttercup seems to have paid attention to this. Most appreciated. In fact, Im going back tonight!

Went with my family, we loved the cheese sticks. My husband ordered the BLTC with chili cheese fries and myself a fried chicken buffalo samdwich with a side salad. The food came out timely manner, the server was really rushed all over the restaurant, my salad was old and slimy left a bad taste in my mouth so it was sent back. I got curly fries with my meal instead they were ok. Ample food for what you pay, it is high priced for a diner but overall it was an ok experience. My family has decided to eat elsewhere from now on.

I used to live in Vallejo and would frequent this restaurant almost weekly for breakfast. However, I wasnt pleased with my meal. I ordered the Spanish omelette. I arrive scrambled with the ingredients. I thought maybe they got my order mixed up and had given me the scrambler instead. The waitress explained this is how they make their omelettes. Well, it certainly was new for me. As far as flavor, it had none. It actually tasted watered down. Not the best experience. But not so bad that I wouldnt go back again.

I ate there twice a week Ive been all over Solano County looking for biscuits and gravy and theres is the best around I can compare that right in with Louisiana biscuits and gravy and there omelette called the kitchen sink is very good too in the service is over the top I love to sit at the counter and watch those girls hustle to make a buck and the cooks in the back making all that delicious food they dont get enough credit either

My experience at The Buttercup in Vallejo, CA is definitely positive one. It has the FOUR Ps. PRODUCT: the food is on point. Something for every pallet PEOPLE: the entire staff is friendly and attentive PRICE: great price point for every income level. PLACE: The Buttercup is like the CHEERS on TV--where everyone knows your name or at least your face. Excellent place fir social interaction.

“Real Italian” I wouldnt know real Italian if I ate it but the food from this pizzeria is top drawer. When last I was there the owner was definitely Italian and making quality fare. In addition its only a 10 - 15 minute walk from the Vallejo ferry building. Definitely worth passing up The Wharf, Zio F, and the S. Can. All..

Robin our waitress was amazing, great service, huge breakfast the country fried steak brought back fond memories of TX yummie. We had cappuccino and it was fantastic. I would go just for the cappa. When ever your visiting Nappa make sure you come by and say g-day to Robin she will take great care of you!

We were well received, the lady who took care of us was very nice, even though I live in Vallejo for a long time, I had never been there. I was surprised, the food was great. My son took me for a great meal and thats what I got. Been there a couple times with friends and they loved.

I love this place, if you can eat breakfast food anytime - this is your place! Hashbrowns are cooked to perfection, everything tastes fresh and seasoned well. I grabbed Harriets Breakfast plate and it came with pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and hashbrowns, and biscuits with gravy.

I love the food and love the service but only giving 3 stars because the last 3 times we have come they have been out of grits at 9:30am. They only make one pot and when they are gone they are gone, such a shame because they are the only local place I know that serves grits.

Great American food, their bakery is delicious! Breakfast, lunch or dinner this restaurant will satisfy. Their service is great and friendly, but parking is limited and it may take a little bit to find a spot during their busy hours. Other than that, their food is worth it.

Good family pizza place -- the kind we all grew up with. But be warned, every meat ball you add drives the cost up by $4. Plus the place is just not clean. They remodeled a few years ago, but they didnt keep up the deep cleaning. Now it needs another remodel.

Im a native San Franciscan and grew up eating great food that the City had to offer. However, when I moved to Vallejo 11 years ago, I did not find a pizza parlor that served delicious home spun dough and fresh toppings, like I had grown up with in SF.

The service was very good. We were greeted by everyone we walked by. Our server was busy but nice. Food was fine. Nothing special. No malt powder, which I thought was funny for a diner. Expensive for what it was. Apparently a local institution.

Part of a small local chain based in the Bay Area, I have visited most of them but Oakland (visited the most) is close to my work. Food is good, friendly staff, consistent quality with easy parking. (you can park in the hotel parking lot)
