My family has been eating Sushi since before the "sushi craze" When there was only 1 or 2 around in the entire LA area. I walked in here today and walked right back out. Did not even sit down. Upon entry of the establishment there are Latinos making the Sushi. There is no wonder there is sauce all over the dishes. Sauce hides bad fish. In real sushi you should not see hardly any sauce at all. The fish will not smell fishy and not have a fishy taste at all but rather a succulent delicious natural sweet flavor that you really cant describe besides stating if done right raw fish tastes 110% better than coked fish any day and there are no sauces required. You would not see a bunch of Japanese people working in a Mexican restaurant in southern California because no one would buy it. So it is beyond me why someone would pay Japanese people for Sushi who are hiring Mexicans to make their food so they can make a quick buck. Hire a real Japanese Sushi Chef and I would sit down and eat here. If you are buying Sushi here you are being ripped off. It takes years to be a true Sushi chef. I am sorry but I did not see one there when I walked in and because so many sushi spots have popped up and the demand for tuna has been directly linked to the decline of blue fin tuna in our oceans waters, I do not think anyone who has left a good review of this place has ever experienced a dish of real Sushi.

Its tasty and full of unique flavor, reasonable priced and the service is adequately speedy. Overall an satisfying experience. Im vegetarian and Im surprised that they put so much effort into vegetarian dishes. Most other restaurants wont treat vegetarian dishes seriously. But at Oco time, its always satisfying dish no matter your preference. There will be some waiting because they are always so busy, and you usually need reservation to get a seat.

The food its soooooooooo delicious!!!!! Thumbs up!!!! And keep the good work going.

Some of us at work order OCO Time for lunch every Thursday. Everyone LOVES the food and they have a wonderful variety. I personally try something different each week and have never be disappointed. I would recommend the food to anyone. The quality is superior. How great to have this fabulous place right here in Ukiah!!

There arent many options in this neck of the woods, but regardless, oco time is one of those restaurants you want to go out of your way for. Divinely creative and exceptionally yummy. A dining experience not to be missed. Highly recommended. Make sure to call ahead for a reservation cause they are extremely busy.

My wife and I traveled an extra 25 miles to come here because of the reviews. Boy were we excited by what we found! We both loved the ginger lemon tea and the delicious noodle soup. There were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options (clearly marked) as well as non veg for her. All together excellently done.

This is the best Japanese restaurant north of San Francisco! The absolutely delicious sushi, tempura, and noodles have kept me coming back ever since I first came. The servers are very kind. The speed of the service varies depending on the dish you order, but it is usually pretty good.

One of my favourite restaurants in the entire country. Everything is super tasty. From the miso soup to all the vegan rolls, this place is soooo good. Reservations highly recommended. Very good service. Not too expensive for the quality. Love it!

Wonderful cultural exploration of Hiroshimas oco noodle dish and a fantastic panko oyster roll. I have been missing this small, yet delightful Japanese jewel with friendly, knowledgeable staff while passing through Ukiah and I will return!

Stumbled upon this place while staying in Ukiah and a local told us it was great. We ordered a couple orders of veggie sushi and an okonomiyaki to share. The dishes were delicious! I am hoping I can find something similar back home.

Great variety of food, opportunity to watch live grill action at the bar, or a romantic dinner back in the patio. Overall, well deserving of 5 stars with the addition of a wonderful dining staff.

Very Americanized sushi. I could only taste a lot of sauces. I like flavor but also need to taste the fish. Friendly servers just not the type of sushi I eat. I will not be back.

Great sushi, inspired creations. Take out and ready-made options are very convenient. Take home miso paste and other basic Japanese staples and make something at home, too!

Slow service flys landing on the food that was dying in the window. Food not as good as other places. Personnel was just plain slow. And wasnt EVEN busy inside.

I am very unsure of what most the stuff on the menu is so I had the Oco with steak, something about it tastes fishy to me, other than that, it was ok.

Dont let the run down decor fool you, the food is great. Bathroom and walls need some attention. However, it is clean, and the sushi is awesome.
