Review is specific to The Dirty Cookie and not the whole market since page has not been created. Dirty girls making dirty cookies. Still doesn’t beat the Almond Champagne Chocolate Shots from Wilson Creek Winery. JK, lovely young entrepreneurs starting a business empire of sweets and youthful memories. Also it’s not fair to compare alcohol with sweets, because we know who wins every time. It’s been proven that as you grow older your cookie consumption goes down, but more dramatically so does your milk consumption. As adults we are nostalgic about cookies and milk and in our high paced adult life we long for simpler days, but with our mature palates. (see Red Velvet reference later) It’s really small, but when your menu is simple and your concept is clear you can focus on quality like they do. I understand that in high demand open till you sell out sort of business that supply is the limiting factor, but opening at noon is a hassle. No one likes going to the District because of crap parking let alone limiting viable windows to go by having a pretty limited service window is a strategy that concerns me. I didn’t even know what red velvet was until I was in my 20’s so I didn’t immediately crave the red velvet version. I got the chocolate chip with classic milk. They certainly perfected the cookie part, very little crumble, but not over buttered to achieve this. Soft, but thick. The coating keeps from oversoaking, but I’ve found most eat theirs in under 3 minutes so this isn’t a terrible factor. I do not recommend taking this to go as each time these did not make it to my car. I work less than half a mile walk from here. Something that caught my attention was $3.50 for Vanilla Almond milk, Traditional Milk and Chocolate Milk Cream. All of which you can get closer to a gallon for this same price. I’m about to start bringing my own milk for that price. I get it’s a business and there is overheard and need for markup, but I wish I was a kid again and didn’t have to worry about money now. Red Velvet, you buttery sly devil you. Not just coloring, but also not designed for all desserts. I can see why the wedding cake is where it originated, it loses some of the magic when condensed into cookie methodology. A little more buttery and a little denser. Cookies and cream is the densest and richest, I don’t recommend with the Madagascar milk as it’s overwhelming. No one ever saves the cookie to the end they save the milk for the end, to wash it down, so being physically unable to drink the milk held within the container than eat the container itself lends itself to the additional glass which is perfect if you split for washing down 1 of these and the light macha sesame. I found the creamy, dairy esque white chocolate helps counter the heavy rich sesame flavor. Green tea flavoring is a great after taste. Very different from macaroons people are so fond of. Service I found to be a little lacking. I just didn’t feel the staff was excited to be a part of the fun and new opportunity. You would think they just slaved all night making these themselves to act so grumpy. Yes they have new flavors in the mix so don’t be too bummed, you’ll see new stuff on the horizon. I liked the décor. Thought I found the milks cold, there is something about super cold milk that makes it so much better. They should serve bowls to dunk the extra 16 oz of milk in so we can take the bottoms of the cups and submerge them, some people like milk soaked cookies.

Fun indoor market place. Many small shops and speciality food, drink, and desert options. My favorite is the Churned Creamery, where they churn more than a dozen custom ice creams that in front of you. Try my favorite custom shake (you can choose up to three flavors and a topping), Honeydew, Mango Mainia, and Dolce de Leche ice creams, with a Caramel swirl inside the cup. Heavenly - a sip of spring any time of the year.

This place is a rip off and takes severe advantage of small businesses. Its not worth going to and Irvine Spectrum is way better. This place is unoriginal and built by people who like to steal and copy from others.

Many small and new restaurants are popping up in this indoor market. Most of the restaurants serve small plates so you can try more than one place for lunch or dinner. The place has a hipster vibe.

Great new space at the District with shops and eateries like Portola Coffee and Steam Kettle bar. The clothing shops are pricy, as expected for boutiques, but its fun to walk around and browse.

Cool and trendy place. Very hipster, but it has pretty good coffee at Portola and sandwiches at The Kroft. The spot always has really good beer on draft, Kettlebar.

This type of marketplace is trendy. Its very difficult to navigate this market. The food places are mediocre. Id recommend the Popsicles and thats it.

So many great food and beer options here. Not too sure about the shopping though as it seems like a place my girlfriend would enjoy more than myself.
