I went here for the first time with my wife and four friends on a Saturday evening. The place was bustling with people and almost every table was full. There were only a couple of people in line in front of us, so we had a minute to look over the menu and determine what we were going to order. You order in line like you would at a steam-table styled restaurant, but their is no steam table and they deliver the food to you at your table after helping you get seated. You have to get your own refills and to-go boxes, but the servers go around checking on people and cleaning up plates periodically. After ordering and sitting down we engaged in conversation for a few minutes, after which our crab wontons and pork egg rolls arrived. The wontons were served on a thin layer of sweet chili sauce that was poured onto the plate. They had a nice texture and tasty filling, but were way overpriced at $1 each. The egg rolls were larger and had ground pork in them. I was expecting the Vietnamese style of fried egg rolls, but these were more Chinese styled. They were served with an orange-yellow sauce that looked like hot mustard but wasnt. They were pretty good, but a big overpriced as well at $2 each. Soon entrees started coming out. Most people got combos, but we chose to get the Kung Pao shrimp with brown rice and the lo mein with chicken. The noodles in the lo mein were a bit too soft and overcooked. The chicken was alright, but nothing special, and the whole dish was pretty small. It was served in a small bowl with some slices of green onion and thats it. Pretty boring and unsubstantial for $7.95. The Kung Pao shrimp looked like they were pan fried in a brown sauce and topped with some more of the sauce, some peanuts, and served with a side of rice. The sauce was garlicy but also kind of sweet. The shrimp were a decent size and there were probably about 10 total on the plate. Good, but underwhelming for almost $10. Summary: Quality is good. Flavors are adequate and variable. Service is decent, but they only serve you food, clean your plates, and handle special requests. Portions are on the small side and prices are on the high side. Not the best Asian fusion Ive ever had, but not the worst either I guess. Probably wouldnt come back again, or at least wouldnt order the same two entrees again.

Love the place and great food but had degrading experience with server. He just ignored my requests but will with my companion. I paid for my own food and even pitched in for the tip. Didnt want to overreact but now things seem clearer. Day & Time: Thursday, May 19, 1:15 to 2:30 pm.

An off-shoot of PF Changs, Pei-Weis food is actually tastier and cheaper. Super fast service and the food is great. While it might not be super "authentic," the taste is good and some things are even better as cold leftovers! :) (especially the Pad Thai). Try the honey seared shrimp!

The musics not live, its just part of the experience. Good food, good décor. Parking can be a challenge, so allow time for that. Best for lunch, dinner time can be crowded. Still, this is a good place to eat with an experience you cant get many other places.

The food was good and so was the service. They have a great variety of Asian foods. We ordered the Kung Pao chicken and Mongolian chicken, both were delicious. The staff is also very friendly and their customer service is top notch. Def would come back.

Great place to get lunch or dinner (informal). Theyre very accommodating to steaming and sauce-on-the-side type orders. Reasonable prices and friendly staff - no complaints. Wish they had more locations in Los Angeles.

The only reason why this isnt a five is because near the window there were ants all along the window sill. But the foo itself was a delicious 5.

The quasi-fast food PF Changs. Not bad; not great. At least they make the food to order.
