Expensive (for pasta you can go to Cafe Firenze in Moorpark for this price. Cafe Firenze has house made everything and it is fabulous.... Sadly they are closed on Mon., and that is why we tried Buca today). Caesar salad was decent but not spectacular. Asked for bread x3. When it came at the end of the salad service it was cold. Really cold, it just came out of the refrigerator. The bread itself was not that great. No homemade fresh baked feeling about this bread. The pasta Roma was bland. Nothing fresh or lively here. I asked for red pepper flakes, maybe that would help. Finally got them. They have the old sawdust (fake) parm on the table. I asked for fresh grated parm for the pasta- no "we dont have that". Just wow... $24 for this pasta dish (it would have served 3-4, but we were a party of 2 and we were stuck in " family style" Hades. Waiter was nice and asked if we wanted to take pasta home. This will tell you alot. We paid some $80 for salad, one soup, one pasta and 2 glasses of house wine. We said no thank you to taking the pasta home (at least 2-3 cups of pasta left). It seriously was not worth taking home. And Im feeling that I could have had so much better quality at other restaurants for less money.

The service was good. The food was OK. The salad was the outstanding part of the meal. It was the antipasto chopped salad and it is worth the meal. If I ever go back-and there are too many really good eating places in southern Cal. to waste time on a second flirtation with a meal which is just OK.- Id have the salad and no pizza. The pizza wasnt that good, and was certainly over priced ( you could take self-rising biscuits put toppings on them and bake, it would be the same thing ). One thing, if you order a beer, youll be told the medium comes with a "souvenir glass", but they dont tell you that youll get charged $4.50 for the souvenir. Who needs that? It should be made clear that youll be changed for the glass, whether you want it or not. Otherwise a medium beer is $5.99. Too much, but you wanted a beer, not a memory.

The shrimp poorboy is really good! Perfect ratio of ingredients, the hot sauce was a nice touch. I also ordered the surf and turf, which was pretty good but after eating the poorboy, I just wished I had ordered two playboys instead. The food was a little expensive but it was a great meal, nonetheless. Dine in seating was a little tricky with two children but we were accommodated. As I was leaving I saw a sign that mentioned something about red velvet but not in reference to a dessert.

With standout dishes like beef carpaccio, squid ink pasta, homemade ricotta, and saucy bucatini, Buca di Beppo has made it to my list of must-eat restos in Thousand Oaks. Everything we ordered was seasoned and cooked perfectly, service was incredibly accommodating and welcoming, and the ambiance was chic yet casual. Reservations are recommended, but if you cant snag one, bar seating is on a first come, first serve basis.

Tried to place to-go order for family that cannot leave the house easily. Was put on hold three times, waited more than 20 minutes then they hung up on me, called back and they put the phone down and refused to take order. I dont know why they treated us this way, we just wanted to order and were very polite. Even if they were busy no customer should be treated this way.

Only have been here about 3 times, I liked it, but I got food poisoning from the chicken the last time. Called them, told them, they didnt really have much to say about it and never really did anything. Havent been back since. I here great things about it, and Im sure it is, but after that experience Its hard to say Id go back

We had the drunchies and decided to get a slice, but they didnt have any cheese! Only pepperoni. I had to take off the pepperonis because I do not like them. The pizza dough was pretty good and light. The lady working looked tired and irritated of dealing with late night crowd. I get it, but change shifts or jobs.

What a horrible experience !!! We went here for my wifes birthday it took an hour and a half just to get our salads and another hour and a half to get our food. We had to complain to the manager 3 times and he was no help in fact he was most of the problem. Becareful going to this place I will never go back.

When this place is almost full, you cannot have a conversion it is so loud. Atmosphere has a good vibe, though. Nice menu, the ciappino was the best I have ever had. However, when you order a $50 rib eye like my wife did, it better be good. Wasnt. They missed the mark by a wide margin on doneness, making...

Had a very nice lunch with a friend at Tuscany. Great Italian food and great service! It is a sister restaurant to Rustico, my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. My only complaint would be that the interior design could be better if it was updated. Otherwise a great experience for food and service!

Lazy Dog Restaurant is a great place for lunch, we stopped in the middle of our Christmas shopping day for lunch on a Sunday. We were lucky enough to make it before the major lunch rush, which seemed very hectic and crazy. The service seemed standard, but nothing exceptional.

The server was amazing. The food also amazing. I would love to eat there more often but Im not always with a group. I think it would be great to have a choice for a small meal. A dinner salad or a small portion of pasta. Just a thought.

Lunch was excellent the two times Ive been there. Plenty of good food at a good price. They frequently publish coupons that make meals there an even better buy. Staff is friendly. Agree with others who say "Dont go alone."

My wife and I wanted Italian so we decided to give this restaurant a try based on TA reviews. We arrived a bit earlier than our reservation but were sat immediately. Our waiter was friendly and gave us a list of specials.

The Tapas are generally excellent, and the wine selection is very good. However, it is not the cheapest place to try different wines in town. For being in a department store, the setting is fairly intimate.

Very pleasant atmosphere, nicely decorated for Christmas but not overdone. Excellent service....food was wonderful! We especially enjoyed the gentleman who played the guitar and sang at different tables.
