I eat here several times a week, both lunch and dinner, and the food is awesome! Super fresh and great portion sizes. M wife and I love it so much I used it for our rehearsal dinner, which they did an amazing job on. Not a typical place for that occasion, but they went all out! Everybody loved it! Lin is such a great hostess to her customers and makes everyone feel so comfortable. I could go on & on but the point is this...If Zen Garden wasnt around life would suck and Id be very sad for a long time! This place is awesome for both food and the people. You have to try it!!!!

If your knowlege of asian food isnt proficient I would suggest going elsewhere. Menus were very simple with no pictures or description of what your ordering. We ordered spicy chicken that wasnt even close to spicy. The hot mustard sauce tasted like cardboard with wasabi. Service was mediocre as they forgot an order but insisted that the chef will cook it after we told them to cancel it.

High quality Chinese food! The food is fresh and authentic. The service is great. And the prices are shockingly low. We ordered two lunch specials and the total was only $20. We thought they forgot to add something to the bill at first. The portions are very big, too. The interior is very comfortable and clean with pleasant Chinese decor.

At one star, its overrated. The soup was like dishwater, the crispy noodles could have come out of a can of La Choi Chow Mein, one from my college days in the sixties, the dumplings were lukewarm, with skin much thicker than necessary, and both dishes we ordered were tasteless. STAY AWAY if you like good Chinese cuisine!

Local delivery to Oak Park is something is locals cherish, but the place is excellent even if you overlook that. Theyre fast, friendly, and make a decent curry. Along with a good Kung Pao, thats all I ask from a Chinese restaurant.

$35 minimum to deliver as well as slow delivery time. They also have rude service. Their foods alright but you can get great Chinese food somewhere else for 1/5th the inconvenience.
