Prior to that massive food scare that this company experienced, I used to visit this trendy place at least once a week, often two a week, and whenever I travel across the U.S., Since then, I go in only every now and then because I have kids and did not want to take the chance. Today was one of those days that I felt nostalgic and wanted to get the grill tasting chicken I once love and thought to myself may be the company has changed its ways and provide better service. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE and I was highly disappointed and I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK to this sad-down-the-hill food chain again. The place where my bad experience was: the one located at Simi Valley Town Center. I ordered two chicken bowls and the way and manner in which the service was putting food into my bowls, you would swear Chipotle is running out of food and that they have to pulling back on the amount of food. This one young man fill the spoon with so little food that I could see the shiny tin of the spoon. I quickly ask him and the cashier with frustration if Chipotle is pulling back on the amount of food, after he had closed up the lid. He and the cashier did asked if I want more food to be placed on my bowls. I turned them down because I was quite pissed off by the fact that I had to bring it to their attention and now I felt like a jerk. Also, I should NOT have needed to ask for more food. The portion has definitely been cut back since when I last visited a Chipotle. To top off it all off, my last instruction was to add lettuce. Came home, hungry and frustrated, I opened up one of the bowls....NO STINKING LETTUCE....AHHHHHHH! Hello Chipotle Management and Senior Leadership, you geniuses are wondering why you are losing sales...hmmmm!!!!

We stop by here when were are in need of a quick yet fairly nutritious meal. I like that there are many options such as burritos, tacos, quesadillas, or a bowl. It is quick and not too expensive. The food here is pretty tasty. I like the tortilla chips that have a hint of lime on them. I also like that there are several different options of rice, beans, meat, and toppings to choose from. The employees are nice and move you through the line pretty quickly. They are helpful when you have a question and dont make you feel stupid for asking. They are good about keeping the food fresh and stocked. This location is fairly clean. Sometimes the tables need a little attention as well as the drink area, but usually everything is kept nice. The parking lot gets crowded during peak hours.

Food tasted fine, but my burrito was incredibly small. Scarce amount meat, and they even held back on the beans. If Im paying $7.50 for a burrito it better be at least decently sized to somewhat fill me up. The cashier ignored me making me wait for him to finish his chit chat with a regular customer while my food was sitting there in front of him getting cold. Incredibly dissatisfied with this place.

Bottomless mimosas that you can swap out with sangria or margaritas? Ay caramba! Im always on the lookout for bottomless alcohol options on Sunday mornings and this place did not disappoint. They have food too:-) I especially like the Chorizo & Poached Eggs and the Huevos Rancheros. The place is small and they dont take reservations, so be prepared to wait a bit. Totally worth it!

Always a hit or miss. Service can be exceptional and sometimes it be so bad in that you can tell the guy behind the counter does not want to be there and doesnt care. Food for the most part has always been spot on except for the last time, they overcooked the veggies and still served it.

I always love getting a bowl when I go, but of course occasionally I have to get a burrito. The food is always pretty good. Sometimes you can get a very stingy dipper with some items but usually it is very generous portions too.
