why does my brain insist on convincing me its thursday? and what does that have to do with this starbucks? these are excellent questions. i can answer the second one. i, thinking that i had a coffee meeting with a colleague (on what i keep thinking is thursday; see unanswered question #1), moseyed on over to this starbucks a little early, to ensure sweet seating and the kind of peace that comes from knowing youre not the one standing at the door looking around for someone. upon reaching the register (yogurt parfait in hand), it was brought to my attention several times, by several people behind the counter, that my shirt was deserving of acknowledgement (check out: busted tees, double unicorn). the new my little pony was discussed; pointing out the tiny unicorn growing out of the other unicorns head blew some minds; and we all parted in a content and entertained manner. oh yeah, and the coffee and yogurt was good, too.

I recently moved to S.vale and this is the closest Starbucks. Unfortauntely, it is also the slowest Ive ever been to. Even if you dont like Starbucks, you should walk into this place just to get a laugh - in the morning, there are about 5-7 people tapping their fingers, waiting for their drinks....Its a real stressful vibe. And, although I order the same drink every day they dont seem to remember me and the drink is made incorrectly about 2x a week. The Belmont Starbucks (El Cam & Ralston) had my drink memorized the second time i ordered it, and it was never the wrong drink. I dont think the Mathilda location is any more crowded than any other Starbucks, it just seems that their employees lack communication or maybe they just dont get a long so there is not a lot of talking? If you go in there, be ready to wait a while and take a sip of your drink before you leave to make sure its the right thing :)

I am one of those snobs who likes to spend a little time reading the news in a coffee shop over a bit mug and a nice pastry. I know Starbucks is not that. It is good for takeout when you have to drive somewhere. All the same this cheese danish is the saddest pastry I have had in a very long time. I guess they offer to warm it up for you in order to breathe some temporary life into the thing. I made the mistake of not having it warmed up. Gas stations have better pastries on offer and I would hope Starbucks to meet that bar.

I love all Starbucks. Well, most Starbucks locations. I went to this location to get an afternoon tea. It is a really messy location. The garbages are not only full but overflowing. With Starbucks trash blowing in the wind. The tables are all disgusting and need a good wipe down. The bathrooms are also messy. They are either understaffed or the staff arent doing their jobs. I decided to pass on tea. I am meeting someone at this location and will go to a different location to get a drink.

The manager is rude. Often mentally challenged homeless people with heavy baggages scratch you and walk by or share the table with you. Thanks to the google internet, whatever you browse is available to marketing companies instantly. Less place to sit as many tables are occupied, most tables shake and not firm at all. The place is noisy but it is created by customers. Other than that, service is reasonably fast though.

Every time I come here, there are new employees and a huge line out the door -and an even bigger line waiting. They usually have a staff of 4-5, 2 people at the cash register and one person making all the drinks (not sure what everyone else is doing). You have to wait a good 20 mins during lunch time or 2:30 pm for your drink. I recommend ordering ahead, but even then - I see those people waiting too.

The staff is always friendly even during the busiest of time. Table and restrooms are always clean. Good job folks! I would like to specifically thank Shir. Even though I only visit maybe once a week, she always has a smile on her face, and remembers my order. Thats going the extra mile, giving 110%, whatever you want to call it. Thanks Shir!

super rude employee made me feel very embarrassed when i took in starbucks coffee purchased at the grocery store to be ground at the retail store. laughed at me and was very condescending. as a regular to starbucks, i am seriously considering another company! (this guy has curly long dark hair... beware!)

Terrible! Messy with sugar and who knows what spilled all over the milk/sugar table AND absolutely no napkins. Cappuccino cup came with a whole bunch of foam dripping down the side - yes and NO napkin to half way clean it up AND the barista wasnt interested in cleaning it up before delivering!!!!??

They recently remodeled and now have a clover machine with the single origin reserve coffee. There isnt a lot of seating at this location, but most of the tables have wireless charging. The staff is super friendly and generally in good spirits despite this location being consistently busy.

This guys are goofy and wired looking!!! Batista looks hell a funny with a nose ring and beyond rude she gives me attitude just because I asked extra room on my Americano!!! She had to remake it and she still didnt do it right !?!?!?

Great service and wonderful people. This store is f**king awesome all girls hot and all the guys are gay super gay its totally awesome. Got too cHeck it out.. I go there all the time morning and night I just love it!!!!

Stopped here early in the morning around 6:30 to grab a coffee but the line was already long. Had to wait quiete a bit before I could get my order. On the other hand the staff tried hard to process the orders quickly.

WiFi is too slow. They are loud...they seem to be always cleaning, vacuum always running here n there. Chairs are not comfy. My americano was almost half filled on the pretext I presumably wanted cream.

Its a very narrow, uncomfortable Starbucks location. Everybody is in everybody elses way. This isnt the location you sit and get work done or meet people. Good place to grab a drink and be on your way.

Fine for a quick stop. Difficult to get work done due to the noise level and seating is not often available. Staff is very nice. Having to ask for a code to the bathroom is annoying.

I wont give them a bad review because the people and service are great. But why would you put a piece of pound cake in an oven without asking? It makes it greasy and unpalatable.

Good place to stop by some coffee, though Im a tea fan. They do have tea selection here. Also, if you need your phone charged, they have wireless charging tables with adapters.

Nice place, decent parking, but not a lot of seating - if hoping to work or hang out, know that even at 10am, when its not super busy, there was no seating available.

I like this place even though it is always busy. It is comfortable, has a good vive, the baristas are always in good spirits, pleasant and fast to get your coffee .
