Yep, everything you heard about this place is true! The coffee roast here is really, really good. Once you had a Flat White here, you simply wont go back to Starbucks or other chains as you start to realize how poor their coffee actually tastes. Even if you are not a coffee expert, youll realize that they really know how to work their coffee beans to get out a unique flavor. The vibes are unique too. Very hipster, very cool - almost a little bit like Venice Beach. Really love this place as it is much more than just about the coffee. Oh, and did I mention their sweets and little pastries? Super fresh and super yummy too - and not too sweet. And the best: The place is rather cheap. Certainly a true gem!

If you enjoy high quality coffee and some amazing pastries then this is the place for you. it is a great place to relax as long as you are comfortable with hipster ambiance and the smell of amazing coffee. If you like the taste of diner or starbucks coffee you will probably be disappointed with the complex flavors your taste buds will be bombarded with at this place. The staff are fantastic and always willing to help you understand what coffee experiences they have prepared for you! My personal favorites for the pastries here are the Cronuts and the scones... you can not go wrong! Also, I love how great their stoneware is that they service your "drink-in" coffee!

Artisan coffee comes to Fremont! Weve lived in Fremont since 1993, and seen this town begin to transform itself from boring suburb to hipster haven. OK, were not a hipster haven. However, Devout Coffee is bringing a totally non-Starbucks, non-Peets, non-chain experience to Fremont. Small, funky, cool... and really really good coffee. Its worth a drive up to Niles, or if you live in the Niles area, its a great place to stop on the way to work, or during the day for an incredible experience and pickup. Loved it!

My go to cafe in the bay. A beloved coffeehouse located in the heart Niles. Staff is always friendly. Aesthetic has this worn down muscle car feel, if that makes sense. Brews are rich, but the deal maker here is the Tcho Mocha. Out of any cafe I had tried in the bay, Devout has hands-down the #1 mocha. Other caveats: large community tables and standing bars. Open patio section to take in the fresh air with a nice cup of coffee for an afternoon alone or with a friend.

Excellent "Artisan" coffee here in Fremont, California! If you havent visited the Niles district you should - its the funnest, funkiest, and coolest neighborhood in Fremont. These guys have grown this incredibly funky and cool business, and contributed a hell of a lot to the neighborhood. The coffee is mild and fantastic (very different than Peets - not better, just different -mild vs. dark). They also have an outdoor cafe.

An excellent place to get some coffee! The place is very nice and a little bit on the hipster side. They have outdoor seating and good wifi. The staff is very nice though can come off as a bit elitist. Think the record shop from the movie High Fidelity. They have a comfy couch and a cool, hip atmosphere. If you are looking for a solid pour over coffee or a nice almond milk macchiato, this is the place.

This is the best coffee place in Fremont. The coffee is high quality and the artisanship of the baristas is high. My only critique is that I have noticed that some baristas pull the shots way ahead of time which forces them to sit and oxidize creating a bitter taste. Other than that, the hand made coffee is on par with the best in San Francisco and the decor is nicely done.

Coffee is great. Noise level is not. If you want a great cup of coffee, get it to go. Dont even think about doing work here (or reading, or relaxing, or having a normal conversation, or thinking clearly), unless youre cool with sound bouncing off of everything, and a group of dudes yelling to each other so loudly it cuts through your noise-canceling headphones for hours on end.

Very good single-origin coffee, roasted on the premises. Friendly staff. Cappuccino price = 3.50 for a small cup. Great taste, but could be a little hotter. The roast of the beans was perfect. Out of the way location at edge of Fremont, but cute, historic building. Sparse interior. Expensive croissant. I would definitely return again if in the Niles area of Fremont.

This is a great coffee place with a lot of style. The employees are very welcoming and make great coffee. They have lots of shared seating inside and a cute patio with string lights overhead. They also offer wifi so its a great place to work. I moved from Oakland where there were lots of great coffee places so I was excited to see something similar in Niles.

The coffee beans had amazing flavor that showed through in the skillfully pulled shots. The baristas were knowledgeable and had a passion that showed through in their interactions with the customers. The place is a bit cramped but comfortable for a short stop (but not a long sitting). If youre in the area, this is definitely a must.

I enjoy visiting this shop alone and with my family. It isnt a place I linger... The music is too loud for conversations and the selection of food and drinks is limited. But the quality of everything is superb. Great pastries, excellent coffee, wonderful staff and a charming environment. Im on a regular basis. Ill keep coming!

Cute little coffee shop with a nice patio, high quality local pastries and all the coffee options you could ask for. Pour over, cold brew, drip and of course espresso drinks. Nestled in an old town business strip at the base of the Fremont hills makes you feel like youre in a middle America small town.

I visited on a day when it was about a thousand degrees outside, and Id been out in the sun. I wanted an iced almond milk latte. I got one. It was very good, and gone quickly. The staff were friendly, the vibe was chill, and the drink was good. What more could I want?

My husband believes this is what real coffee tastes like. They are truly devout, as they sell no other drink varieties. The staff are amazing and excellent at what they do. A great place to hang out and relax, but can get super busy/overcrowded.

Great atmosphere for studying or socializing. Has an indoor and outdoor section and in a very quaint part of town. A great getaway place for being alone on a Saturday afternoon or something like that. Coffee is good too. Good selection.

Great coffee, sweet staff, simple pleasant environment, local small business. Best tasting beans around in my opinion, and the owners and staff are nerdy and precise about their coffee prep - they know what theyre doing.

Everyone in our party enjoyed the meal and the evening very much. The service was attentive but there was a little too much time between courses. The food was very flavorful and the setting was warm and calm.

A hidden gem of a coffee shop in a small town. Amazing coffee made slowly and carefully. I ended up here randomly and I dont live in this area but I will be back just for the coffee and the chill atmosphere

A solid little coffee house, along a street full of antique stores. Very good cappuccinos and cookies! There was a large group visiting when we were there, and as a result it was a little too noisy.
