Longer review fell into the deepest depths of the interwebs. Cuisine remind me a lot of my favorite place from my college years in Davis-- so disappointed when they changed ownership. My go-tos of bhaigan bharta and chicken tika marsala were delicious, my husband inhaled my leftovers when I got home. Mango lassi was a mango lassi, hard to get it wrong-- yum. Four stars because our entrees came out thirty minutes after the soup and salad ordered by those in our party who wanted lighter fare. They were likely bringing out the appetizer-type orders first, common enough mistake, but wed made it clear we werent really sharing. They also forgot a member of our partys coffee, and she thought it tasted/smelled horrible when it came; the water in our glasses was the same and it tasted fine... and Im picky as hell about that. They did give us separate checks, though this probably added to the confusion, but still-- it shouldnt be too hard to handle a four-top at noon with the restaurant at only half-capacity. The waiters and bussers were hotttt. *cough* Ill up it to five if the service is better next time.

Delicious Indian cuisine, with each dish layered with exotic flavors, simmered down to create wonderful sauces, rich, intense and soul satisfying bites. Each appetizer, soup, salad, entree, and dessert are uniquely seasoned, with the option to make the dish has hot or mild as your taste buds allow. Wonderful flavors and textures that are well executed from the kitchen.

Eat healthy, think better. Thats all I can say. Delhi Belly serves low fat, but delicious food. If your tired of eating greasy Indian food and want to try something similar to organic. This is the right place for you and dont forget to try the lime ginger chicken, rest thanks me later.

Conveniently located in Sonoma Square this restaurant offers excellent and friendly service. The portions are larger then most Indian food places I have been to . This is a big plus.
