I wrote a Yelp review on this restaurant and I thought I should right it on here also. I came here before I went to work around 12PM to eat lunch. It was in December of 2016, I got seated me and my family. The waitress took our order. But their menu isnt even a normal menu like every restaurant has theirs is made out of newspaper, wow the company is so cheap they cant even afford a real menu book. The wait to get your food is 30 minutes or more. When I got my order it looked okay. But I notice that when the make your order they put lettuce that is brown and it looks like it hasnt been washed very good and it looks like its gonna go bad. Thats a red flag right there. Idk if the manager hired people that dont have experience chefs that dont know how to cook at all. Im pretty sure the management hired people that didnt even have restaurant experience. The food is so tasteless, no flavor, and very salty too. I also got their cinnamon roll French toast whatever its called I took the first bite and didnt even eat it anymore I was so disappointed that it was bad the French Toast I expected to be very good and sweet, nope it felt so very cheap and had no sweetness. If you want to go where you will get good quality dining restaurant for breakfast go to IHOP instead of coming here not worth the money. If you want to go somewhere where theres good food nearby go to In N Out. It was expensive, since they put their prices thats more expensive than Dennys (they have higher prices to beat their competitions) they should give more food and more flavor. They give you less food than shown on the cheap ass newspaper menu they have. The prices I think its a ripoff for small portions of food you get. The service was good on my first visit, the food wasnt that great. Only 2 stars for the waitress that took my order good.

Excited to have a local BBD open, I visited this location around 11 today. It was an epic disappointment. Having been in the serving industry 10 years myself and having an excessive amount of time to observe wasted steps that prolonged even a table greet, I can say this is the worst service experience Ive ever had (we had zero service, to be specific). Tables were left to sit and be ignored as servers walked by repeatedly, oftentimes empty handed, as servers focused on select tables while others sat without service of ANY kind. After sitting and sitting alongside other tables being completely ignored (we couldnt even get a drink order in) we got up and went somewhere else to eat. Crazy thing is, in the time we waited just to place a drink order, we had our food ordered and delivered to our table at the other restaurant we went to instead. This restaurant has the potential to be sooooo much better with proper training. Ive been to the BBD in Reno, Sacramento, and Long Beach and I can tell you this location falls short of the others.

I won’t say “don’t eat there” because I’m not your Daddy. My Wife and I ate there today and what a disappointment! I will admittedly say though, the hamburger I ordered was probably the biggest hamburger I ever had. But that’s the only positive thing I can say. You will have to cut the 13 dollar hamburger in half to be able to hold it, but by the time you get to the second half, the bottom bun is so gooey from sitting in all the grease that it is almost unbearable to eat. If you want bacon, add 2 dollars for two strips. My wife ordered half of a sandwich and a cup of soup. (WARNING: the soup cost’s over 4 dollars for a 6 ounce cup!) When her order arrived, it was shameful. That teeny tiny little sandwich sitting all alone on this huge platter without any garn to make it appear presentable. And I had to remind the waitress to bring her 4 dollar soup sample. It was an expensive, unpleasant learning experience!

If I could give negative stars, I would. I was so excited for a restaurant to open where I work. I purchase a taco salad. The worst I have eaten. I asked for sweet tea, I got luke warm unsweetened tea in a to go cup. To top it off it was a to go meal, I waited 50 minutes for my food and beverage. Once I got my food and beverage I asked if the dressing was in the to go box. The girl said she did not know. I looked in the box nothing then had to wait an additional 20 minutes for two small containers of dressing. I understand that get busy , however its totally unacceptable that for paying over $16.00 For my food and drink that it would taste horrible and my tea not be what I asked for. Im very disappointed with the food service and price. I recommend against this place and will not be back. I very rarely post bad reviews but this one is called for.

Big portion size, so bring your appetite!!! Amazing fresh squeeze orange juice, although Im not sure its worth $4.99 without free refills. Friendly staff. For the second time, they overcooked the eggs on my husbands eggs benedict. Getting a refill on your coffee is almost climbing a mountain. You have to pay your bill up front when you are done eating vs your server closing you out. The biggest NEGATIVE....The WAIT TIME and I mean WAIT TIME is way too long. When they tell you 20 minutes it actually means 40 to 45 minutes. Thats only to get seated. Theres another wait time to order your food and then to get your food. So if youre really hungry, this place might not be an ideal place to go because I dont know about you but I get pretty cranky when I have to wait a long time to eat.

It was a successful breakfast. My dad and his girlfriend enjoyed the place, too. There is a long wait which tells you something. One of the people waiting next to us said that he tried a Black Bear in Las Vegas and he loved it. The staff was very friendly. I do have to say that the scramble, one from the healthy menu options, had eggs that were a little wet, if that makes sense. As if they had too much water in them. Also, it was a chicken scramble and there was almost way too much chicken (in the form of cubed chunks) vs eggs. The country potatoes were good and they were seasoned nicely. The servers came by and refilled coffee at the perfect pace. Portions were large and they brought out honey that was in a container shaped as a... bear!

The food here is great, its better than most beakfast places nearby. The only downside is that the service is lacking. When I came they took more than 15 minutes to take our order and our waiter never showed up so another one took our order. The food took longer than usual to come out, the portions have gotten noticeably smaller, and not well cooked. They are understaffed and it shows. The management should try and fix their employees schedules so their restaurant doesnt look bad even though its a good place to eat.

They completely overcooked eggs on an Eggs Benedict... no way a decent cook would ever let this happen. They skimp out on hollandaise sauce, and dont ask for homemade salsa they will give you a spoon full at best. Unfortunately there usually is a wait on weekends... so dont trust if you call ahead and they say 10 to 15 minutes..... more like a 45 minute wait. The parking lot is horrific so dont bring a nice car. Actually, just avoid this establishment.... its more like a Dennys but expensive .
