My favorite place for Chicken Salad was bought out and changed to a different place. I wasnt sure where I would get my Chicken Salad fix for lunch. I was noticing that this place was fairly new and was another restaurant near my office that had changed. They had a Chicken & Gouger Salad sandwiches with Pecans & Cranberry and served with a green salad. There were three little homemade buns with Chicken Salad piled in between. Like little Chicken Salad Sliders. The buns were so good and fresh. Ill say it once Ill say it twice. Homemade is what makes a meal. They have a chef on hand that makes the food. You can tell because the quality is of a very high standard. The green salad was ok. To much red lettuce for me. Thats just a personal thing I have. I can literally walk here everyday if I wished to. They recently closed for awhile. I was really bummed out because I wanted to order a cake for my sons birthday and they didnt reopen until a day before his birthday. I made my own cake. I didnt even want to look anywhere else. Im really liking this new lunch spot for me.

I try to research every restaurant I go to. I had a heart attack a few years ago and need to eat healthy. Their lunch menu online had salmon and asparagus. I was excited about going to this place based on all the positive reviews. The menu they handed me when I walked in was not the same as they advertise online. Something about "Saturday Brunch". The salmon and asparagus turned into fried salmon cakes and cajun fries. I asked if they could exchange the fries for the asparagus but they apparently dont allow substitutions. That one single statement made them lose this customer. However, they came to our table and asked if mashed potatoes would be better and I accepted that. Not much better than fries and certainly not a vegetable. The salmon cakes were incredibly salty and I couldnt finish them. The salad and mashed potatoes were good. I didnt give a 1 because they made an attempt with an illegal substitution and my daughter liked their spaetzle. If they would keep their website up to date with their actual menu, this would have been avoided.

We only came here once for a coffee, cause we were on the way to somewhere else and needed to stop. In the end we also ordered a dessert - a Chocolate Pyramid. The coffee was good (or so says the husband), but the Chocolate Pyramid was nothing special (it could be bigger for the price). We were sorry that we didnt try some other cakes they had on display. They looked nice, but none were gluten and dairy free, so if you have allergies and want to come over here for dessert, Id say try some other place, because they do not specialize in that. Despite that, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The place is big enough to accommodate quite a lot of people (and there were quite some on a Saturday early afternoon). You can also order breakfast/lunch, judging by the menu, but Ill save that for some other time if we happen to be nearby again.

Best breakfast in the East Bay without a doubt. I had the andouele frittata with the cheddar biscuit which was delicious. Wife had the breakfast sandwich and the English muffin it comes on was great. Ask for jam they make it from scratch. And a perfect amount of fruit on the side of each. And nice people. Definitely a 5 star.

Great cozy little local spot set in a standard strip mall. Service and staff were spot on with differing lunch and dinner menu. The lunch menu is reasonably priced for the quality of food being served. Would go back for lunch anytime. Would make a nice quiet dinner date spot which is rare in the suburbia that is San Ramon.

This bakery cafe is AMAZING. The pastries are heavenly and sure to make even the worst day so much better! Now they are open for dinner! The pork belly appetizer is so delicious that it cannot be described. All the appetizers and entrees are heavenly. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu.

Cute little cafe in a strip mall. Had some BBQ pork and my wife had the spaetzle. Coffee and a mimosa and the total came to about $30. The tiramisu also looked tempting but we didnt indulge. Would definitely recommend if you are near by.

Great tasty food. We had friends over and needed food quickly. We thought we would try something different. We all absolutely loved the food and definitely go back again. Our favorites were the pumpkin and eggplant.

Amazing pastries and amazing food. Ive only been there once, for breakfast, but I plan on coming back many more times. Be patient; this place is always crowded and quality food takes quality time (for love & prep).

Had a Plum Frangipani and a bread pudding. Very well made with just the right amount of sweetness. Expensive place for lunch or dinner... Or is it just the drab exteriors that make the menu feel expensive??

An amazing little gem in San Ramon. The food is delicious! Portions seem to have gotten smaller, but the quality of the food is still excellent. Love their scones.

Great spot for lunch. Simple yet delicious. Espresso was a great way to finish up. Outdoor seating and they bring water for your dog!
