Horrible horrible horrible.. My coworkers and I went here thinking it was still Billie Birks but found out it closed. It is now Rookies which cant hold a candle to many of the restaurants in this area. 1. the service was horrible. Server could not get the simple drink order right and forget my water 3 times. 2. Our 1 hour lunch turned into an hour and 45 minutes due to food taking over 1 hour to get. 3.food was horrible. I got the Chinese chicken salad and it came with 3 small pieces of dried out fried chicken strips that tasted horrible. My coworkers got the dried out and tasteless pulled pork sandwiches. 4.other guest would constantly approach the servers in regards to them not getting their food and you could tell the servers were overwhelmed but just 15 people in the restaurant. Id hate to see what its like in their when its busy. 5. The cook would constantly come out to talk to the servers due to missed orders and try to figure out what was missing. I will never go there again and can only advise others of the issues.

I always have fun at Rookies. Between some kind of dive bar, sport bar and a restaurant, Rookies feature a very nice and large selection of draft (on tap) beers at reasonable prices, nice american bar food (also pizzas, which are slightly below average to my taste). The place itself is warm, very clean and nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly. I even had a change to speak French with one of them. Waitresses are the cutest and service is always prompt. Happy hours till 7pm, fridays night can get packed and loaded with fun!

Came here for the playoffs. Got seated relatively quickly, which was a plus, but it then took 90 minutes to have any waitstaff check in (not even to give us a menu), even when we tried to flag them down multiple times. Finally went to the bar to order and were told to go back to our table and wait for a waitress to come to us. Meanwhile, the table behind us has a waitress come and sit down and do two rounds of shots with them but totally ignores us. Will NOT be giving this place any more business.

I hang out here like once a month with my girlfriends. Love Rookies. All the games on and great service and full bar. I do with they would add MORE hooks to their tables so we can all hang up our purses. And, I wish the menu wasnt so GUY FOOD centric. When they first opened, they had the brie en croute with honey and almonds, but they got rid of that. Their salads are great, but some more girl food and less "fried egg" on top kind of fare would be awesome for my girlfriends and me.

Wow, what a sports bar and restaurant extravaganza!! The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and extremely attentive. But the best part is wherever you look there is a high definition TV proudly displaying your favorite sporting event. I would have to give Rookies a solid “Hussah” for ambiance, cuisine, location(of course) and a staff that makes me want to make it my new cheers…oh and also bring the family often!

Bartenders and waitresses friendly. Have lots of TVs and NBA/NFL/MLB packages, so can watch pretty much any out of town game. Good happy hour. Food is not very good. Ive tried a bunch of things and the only items Ive found acceptable are the onion rings and the hot dog. Pizza greasy, tacos blah, garlic fries smell great but are soggy. If the food was above average, Id go there a lot more.

I went in for lunch and I was very pleased with everything. The menu is extensive and very reasonably priced. My pizza was well done, none of the soggy stuff. It was fresh and crispy. The waitress and the manager were very friendly. As an added bonus, one of the x-Sharks players showed up and seemed to have a great time too. Peter

Extensive beer list. Food is pretty good too - wouldnt expect this quality of food at a sports bar, but were always surprised at how tasty it is. Great place to watch games as they have TVs everywhere. Bad place to come for a quiet dinner because they have TVs everywhere.

Great sports bar with lots of screens. Gets crowded when there are big sporting events and may be difficult to find seating. Food menu is pretty good but mostly bar type food. Great nachos. Not so great wings. Really good pizza.

great sports bar, good crowd. Only giving 4 stars because the 2 bartenders were wearing 49er jerseys....at least one Raiders jersey would have gotten 5 stars!
