Sadly, I once loved this place. However, the service I received on my birthday was horrible. I had a large group of about 15 people, Id celebrated my previous birthday here and loved it. This time though...has put me off from going again for a while. The server, Lawrence, was rude, unattentive, we had to ask for drinks serveral times or just go to the bar to get anything. But of course the smaller group next to us, knew him, so of course they got everything they asked for and all service a customer would expect. Then, they over charged the amount the drinks and charged for items we didnt even order. While the manager did appear to have a conversation to him when I made a complaint, he too was rude and accused us of lying about how many drinks came out to us. He didnt offer a discount, or give a sincere apology. Ive never experienced such lack of interest in customer service before. When all was said and done, we paid our rather large bill, once it was finally correct. While we thought things had settled down, our oh so lovely server throws my friends card and receipt on the table, and walks away like a two year throwing a tantrum. Great atmosphere, decent food (sadly that too has gone a little down hill, the popular theyve become) but dont go here if youre used to proper customer service.

Two for dinner on a lovely evening in San Jose. Very open and bright dining room with indoor and outdoor seating - large bar and plenty of tables. And not that noisy. Friendly staff, fast and knowledgeable recommendations. Started off with the Rainbow Cauliflower appetizer. OK - full disclosure: Not a big fan of cauliflower. But this was good - lightly breaded and very tasty. On to dinner - dining partner had the ribs, one of the house specialties. A nice portion, not too sweet, not too tart and - most important - not too messy. For me - Spinach Fettuccine. Being a sucker for butternut squash will always go for anything with butternut squash. Again, well made, right size portion, fresh and very tasty. Located in San Pedro Square, lots of after dinner choices. Visited on a Monday evening and not too crowded, but good sports crowd watching the Warriors on the way to becoming champs, so nice vibe. Overall a nice choice in the downtown area

First the food was pretty good. But the service was the worst Ive ever had. Waiter was not helpful and gave us a lot of attitude. Kept asking tables around us if the wanted more to drink but didnt bother to notice us that we didnt have plates to eat with. Kept trying to get his attention while he waited on others When asking to split the bill so I could charge work for my half and pay for my wifes personally he said he couldnt do it and walked away. Came back with a single check and never retuned. I had to go find him and he still gave me an attitude. No matter how good the restaurant is, a rating is based on the whole experience. And this was one of the worst I had. And for that I can not rate any higher than the worst.

Walking in, both the outdoor lounge and indoor dining are well decorated and very trendy. If you make it before 7PM, they have great happy hour specials that include $5 cocktails. All the appetizers we tried were delicious, including the chicken and waffles, spiced ahi tuna, and especially the meatballs (which were really big too!). As a main, we definitely enjoyed the pappardelle pasta, cheddar & manchego mac n cheese, and truffle fries. The pappardelle had a slight spice that added great flavor but wasnt overwhelming. For cocktails, Id definitely recommend the New Moon Lemonade (strawberry moonshine lemonade). Definitely an enjoyable dining experience that will have us visiting again soon!

Was there tonight for happy hour with 12 others ........ food fine -- happy hour drinks good ............. however a bus person shattered a glass over the entire table sending glass shards everywhere .....into drinks and food -- as well as my eye, hair and clothing. When I asked to speak to the manager he only said "sorry" with minimal sincerity and offered no compensation on the tab nor a round of drinks nor .....whatever. NOT a place that values their clients well being and future business. Enjoy at your own risk

Called to make a reservation. Showed up 20 min after the call and no reservation was made. Luckily it wasnt busy. Ordered a wine. They were out. My mom ordered another wine. They were out. Ordered a dinner item. They were out. Ordered a replacement....showed up 15 min after placing the order and said they were out. Last time I checked, restaurants serve food and wine. We paid for our second choice wine and overcooked under -the -heat -lamp fries and left as soon as they told us they were out of our second choice dinner.

This is one San Joses best spots, in my opinion. The atmosphere and decor are excellent - youll find yourself in a very modern and open interior space with tasteful lighting. It can get loud later in the evening. The food is expertly crafted; I recommend the ribs and mussels for any first-timers. The staff here are excellent, and the bartenders know how to make what you want, or they know how to surprise you with something you never knew you wanted.

Our experience was not good. Food and drinks were overpriced and did not meet the expected quality. Just too many places nearby with better price and taste. We tried several times hoping to find what we would like. The brunch waffles are really good but the truth is that the quality and service overall are really not worth it. Too much competition for this place to stay in business for long.

Beautiful outdoor patio brunch, happy hour spot in San Pedro square. There is also indoor lounge seating. Service was wonderful. We dined on the nutella stuffed french toast, truffle fries, chicken and waffles, croque monsier, and black quinoa salad. The french toast is extremely tiny. If looking for meat, be sure to go with the chicken and waffles.

We decided to have dinner in downtown San Jose. There are so many amazing choices and we decided on SP2 for there amazing food. The food tastes great, all of it, and is fair priced. Great place to have a group event, family meal or whatever you choose. We enjoyed ribs, sliders and the mac-n-cheese. We will be back again soon.

We went there for a team drinks on a Thursday evening. Staff is pretty friendly and drinks are great. Love the ambience and they have a fireplace outside in the patio area. They have happy hours from 4-7 PM. I would definately recommend you to check out this place. If you dont like it San Pedros square is adjacent to it.

I had the pork belly hash. It was OK I liked the potatoes, shiitake mushroom, and egg, but the pork for the most part was too dry and tough. Other than that it was good. The decor was nice, but they had DJ at the time, and he played the music way too loud so that kind of times the atmosphere.

This hip restaurant offers large plates made for sharing family style. I love the open floor plan and high ceilings. The staff are very down to earth, friendly, and accommodating. We host monthly luncheon events in their back room and the catering managers always take great care of us.
