Their pastries and cakes are awesome. Not too sweet, they look pretty and are full of great flavors. They dont try to mix all kind of flavors into one pastry but rather make sure each cake tastes unique. These a true French or European style cakes and pastries. They have a huge selection and never run out. The inside of he store itself is beautiful with high ceilings and loads of light, perfect to sit on. Service is hit or miss. Parking is an issue as its in the middle of downtown. Unfortunately there are also always many homeless around which doesnt really help with the vibe. If you can ignore this then youll be able to enjoy some of the best desert and cake in town.

This place was extremely crowded when i was there, around 8:30pm on a Sunday night. There was an Anime Convention taking place which could explain some of the higher traffic. You take a ticket in this place and then wait until your number is called to get served. They had a lot of desserts and quite a few drink options. I ordered a regular coffee and a large tea, and unfortunately it took me almost 15 minutes just to get served. Additionally, the coffee was luke warm and definitely not fresh. This could be due to the time of night, but due to the traffic I was expecting fresher coffee. The tea was fine however.

These cookies are mindbogglingly good. I split two cookies this a friend, the famous chocolate chip walnut and the chocolate peanut butter cookies. Both were amazing- chewy on the inside and crisp on the outside. I came here at 8 so the cookies were fresh out of the oven and chocolate chip one was still warm and had melted chocolate-delis. I highly recommend this bakery although I wouldnt go here regularly as the cookies are massive and very unhealthy, yet it is still so easy to eat an entire or two, or three cookie on your own.

Upon entering this adorable Cafe, you immediately get dazzled with selection. From cakes to cookies to mousse to croissants. You name it, they have it on display. They all looked so amazing and yummy. I Ordered a Double cappuccino and a Mango mousse. The coffee was mediocre but the cake was delicious! Melts in your mouth and isnt super sweet. I devoted the whole piece in seconds. The service was friendly and the cafe was clean. Good quick stop or breakfast place.

This place is extremely nice, both from outside and inside. The pastry is very good, but to my surprise the food was not so good. The Kotlet in the Kotlet sandwich was so thin, I was affraid to get a paper cut from it. It was so thin, looking at it sideways, it was almost invisible. Other than that, as mentioned earlier about the pastries, the cream puff was spectacular!!!

Very yummy cookies indeed and HUGE ! At first I wasnt impressed but realized it was because the cookies were too hot, after they cooled down I have to admit I am a fan. I bought the walnut chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies. And the price is VERY reasonable, those cookies are ridiculously BIG.Definitely will be back and this time Ill share with who they were intended for.

What a wretched place. They cant accept their own gift card unless it has more value than your purchase, so my partial funds are locked on this card unless a manager will over ride it. What kind of shop is this? Train your staff or get new POS (this is Silicon Valley) Patio was full of trash. Food was served promptly. Reason for 2nd star instead of 1.

Delicious and consistent, every time I go! Bijan Bakery & Cafe has so many kinds of donuts its hard not to indulge when you see them all laid out in front of you! I usually get anything thats covered in chocolate, because their chocolate icing is so good. A great place to stop by for dessert if you dont mind spending $3-4 on a donut!

Ordered the pecan pie, got it home and it was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen and tasted. I took it back and was willing to exchange for another pie and the OWNER told me that I would have to pay full price for a replacement pie. This was the first time and last time I will ever visit this bakery. The owner is horrid.

Definitely best bakery in town. My favorite is their Napoleon cake. Its so good, not too overwhelming sweet. Just the perfect amount of sugar you need. I have tried many others too. But some of the ones I like are all seasonal and they are all discontinued after certain amount of time.

The location is great. The store is tempting from the outside, taste was not as good as expected, inside was a bit dirty and their staff are so slow to serve. I ordered cappuccino and it was ready after 10 mins when I had already finished my cake

They are on the expensive side, but the place serves great coffee and pastries. Their Americano is of a great taste and the cakes are amazing. Edit 08/2017: coffee is hit and miss. Often it is really amazing, but sometimes its just black water.

Patisserie with a huge selection of baked goods as well as other snack items. Tastes are fine and its conveniently located inside the Fairmont annex. Its not my favorite, but you wont walk away dissatisfied.

We ordered two large cakes for work, a cheese cake and a burned almond cake and both were outstanding. They looked good and tasted great. The sugar content was under control and the decision quite delicious.

Food is good, but oh are they slow. We waited 20 minutes even though there was only 15 people in front of me. They have tons of people working behind the counter but only two people working the registers.

AR

Terrible service. They had multiple orders wrong and were rude and impatient about resolving the situation. Their croissant sandwiches were served cold and their white mocha was average at best.

As close to French pasties as I have had outside of Europe. I love it. The croissants, tarts, and strudels are excellent. Both sweet and savory options available for breakfast.

AN

Delicious croissants (plain and with jelly) with some great coffee or a selection of fantastic quiche are just few among a mouthwatering selection of other treats.

Pretty horrible experience. They told us each item of our order was not available one at a time after we had paid. We didnt have anything we originally ordered.

The inside sitting space is so noisy because of the fridges and other machinery. I feel for the workers in there. Too much artificial almond flavor.

MI

Worst customer service! Ten people waiting at bakery counter at 7:00pm. No employees even bothered to wait on us. Their attitude, "its not my area".

AL

Am a regular here while staying at The Fairmont. The ham & cheese crossiants & other baked goods are delicious and great coffee at fair prices.

This place has a nice patio where you can sit to watch people go by or just sit to relax. Pastries are good but coffee not so much.

JA

Great place to grab breakfast or a treat. Prices reasonable, service can be a little slow if theres a lineup but otherwise great!

Great place for breakfast in downtown San Jose. Cappuccino is very italian style ! French Horn was my favourite pastry

Love their bakery, but the service at this location can be inexplicably slow. So dont expect to get through quickly
