Authentic Colombian empanadas, good service, indoor and outdoor seating, friendly owner greets customers with a smile and friendly conversation, they are a great addition to the neighborhood! Iespecially recommend the beef empanada, Milohas (dessert), tres leches ice cream. El servicio es bueno, la comida es muy rica, y los dueños son amables. ¡Son vecinos muy buenos! Recomiendo la empanada de carne molida, Milohas, y helado de tres leches.

One of my favorite bakeries in the Bay Area! Although small, it is very warm and charming due to their design and pleasant service. As Colombian food is not big in San Jose, its a very unique place. I adore looking at their posters of Colombias popular foods, such as the fruits inside their tropical juices, as it gives a nice look into the culture. Their empanadas are a must try and there are various options to choose from, such as beef, chicken, mushroom & quinoa. They come in a small or large size. It has such a flaky and buttery crust enveloped around flavorful fillings! Each empanada will be heated up before being served and it comes with a side of a cilantro type of sauce. You can also get a combo meal of 2 empanadas, salad, and guava finger. The guava texture is similar to jelly and the taste is sweet and strong. All in all, come support this cute family-owned shop!!

Located in the South Side in the same shopping plaza as Petco, this little Colombian cafe has an array of Colombian baked goodies. Upon entering, I was excited to see that there was tons of baked goodies left since I came in late in the afternoon. I went for the beef empanada which is filled with meat, garlic, yellow onion, green onion, salt, pepper and other spices. The empanadas come with this delicious homemade sauce. I have no clue what was in that sauce, but it was frickin delicious. In addition to the savory empanada, I also got a guava finger, which is a baked pastry filled with guava paste. That little finger was soooo good. Overall, if youre looking for something uniquely delicious then definitely check out Milohas.

You wont find the average Empanadas here... they have ¡EMPANÁDAS! muy delicioso!!! The outer pastries are luscious and they are filled with plenty of quality choice ingredients. The finest of Columbian baking along with many other menu delights! Other than quality food I especially liked that the walls display many well versed descriptive graphics that help to understand and choose which delicacies you want to explore.

Gets very crowded. Very few tables to sit at. Keep in mind, not much space inside, if you wish to bring kids. Service is a tad slow because they warm up all the pastries and that makes them tase fresh out of the oven. Worth all the cons though, especially if you are a fan of guava filled goodies. Their empanadas are to die for too. Sooo much meat!!!!!

Some of the most delicious food you can get in all of San Jose. I wish they would expand. It has such a wonderful authentic menu and feel to the restaurant. The staff is the friendliest and most attentive group of people youll ever find. Very good prices for very high quality food an experience. Deserves 6 stars

Awesome place for a quick lunch or breakfast or mid afternoon meal. Highly recommend the Colombian hot chocolate, sweet corn arepas, pandebonos, almojabanas. Try the exotic items. Their biscuits are also delicious. Our favorite empanadas: egg with tomatoes and onion, chicken, potatoe, cheese.

I love the beef and chichen empanadas. Normally I get combo 1 with spring salad. They also have sweet empanadas like apple and cinnamon, and several others. They also have these Columbian drinks guayaba, lulo, maracuya, mora de castilla, curuba de castilla. And Columbian ice cream.

This place is a gem! Everything is made from scratch, even their dough. You cant go wrong with any of the choices of empanadas. The savory arrepo is also a favorite and if they have milojas make sure to try them. Kids also enjoy the fresh juices.

Great place where you could easily spend too much wanting to try everything. Got crowded when I was there but service was quick. I had the beef empanada, guava finger, and milhoja and they were tasty. Mango juice was good too.

I had the large beef empanada and the sausage finger. Both were very good the crusts one the pastries were light and flaky and had nice flavor not overly doughy tasting. I highly recommend the guava fingers as a dessert.

I love this place. I tried it for the first time and I was hooked. I had the empanada meal special which included an empanada, a salad, and a guava pastry. So tasty. The store is quaint and staff are super friendly.
