This cafe would be easy to miss driving down Las Tunas as it resides among other unnoticeable businesses. Word of mouth is what brought me here for brunch. The vibe inside is of a cozy one. There were assorted books on shelves, chalkboards for kids to draw on, a shelf full of mugs, and an outside lounge area. We waited about 10-15 minutes before being seated, which is reasonable. What was less reasonable was the wait for our food to come out as it took nearly 40 minutes. Good thing they had a movie playing on a TV. Its safe to say that theyre probably a little understaffed, At least the customer service was pretty good and everyone was friendly. My friend and I split a Roast Beef Panino and a Fried Chicken Sandwich. The Roast Beef definitely was not bad and had this sweetness that kind of threw me off. However, we both agreed that the chicken tasted better. It had decent flavor, was crisp, and the meat was tender. No complaints about the fries, but nothing to rave about either. Notes: 1. I noticed how small the parking lot was so I didnt even bother and proceeded to park on Las Tunas instead. 2. Consider ordering to-go, the wait may frustrate you. 3. Decent spot to study as long as you dont go during peak hours. 4. I will definitely try their Haus Burger next time.

I noticed their breakfast menu and was super intrigued but was only able to make it for dinner. On a Tuesday evening the location is primary opened so if your looking for a nice place to study other than Starbucks this might be a great alternative. Their veggie dishes is weak but I was able to still have a pretty delicious E.L.T - a play on B.L.T but with Eggplant instead and much to my surprise I actually really enjoyed it. A bit too buttery for my weight watcher diet but yummy to say the least. They pile on their fries to perhaps hide their small entrees. I mean, i was fine with my sandwich size. But my poor friend had to dig for her fish chips. Overall I would say its good.

Staff is friendly, but the waiter I had could use some more training, as he was not very knowledgeable on their menu items. Not his fault though, his superior just needs to give him more training. The chicken and waffles was very good, especially their gravy. Their pancakes were a bit mediocre and were burned a bit. Cool affordable place for breakfast, but could be better. I plan to come back, because I really enjoyed the chicken and waffles.

There are not many places like this in this part of town, so its a welcome sight. Its easy to miss driving down Las Tunas. Its right next to the KFC. Close parking can be hard to find since they have a small lot and limited street parking in front. Generally you can find parking a very short walk away. The food is good and would definitely come back. Next time Id like to try their lunch offerings.

Cute outdoor enclosed patio. Theyre known for their bomb lunch burgers (12pm-close), delicious side lemon/garlic tater tots, and iced green tea latte!! Prices range from around $10. Has a Pasadena cafe feel, and its across from the golf course. Private parking lot or free street parking.

Every visit so far has been exceptional. Love the mom and pop vibe! Lots of smiling hard workers and always friendly service♡ If you visit...it is sometimes easier to park on the street since the parking is only for 4 cars tops! But trust me...its worth the trip!

Food is good! Got the fried chicken and waffle and a side of fruits. Waffles were great. Crunchy and crisp on the outside, but fluffily soft on the inside. Chicken was delicious as well. Crispy outside and the chicken was soft and juicy as well. Service is great!

Impressed immediately! David greeted @ entrance & directed me to order counter. Love ambiance, art work, menu options including craft sodas & quality coffee, teas! Prices a little high for salads which were good. Look forward to eating there in future!

Nice little place. Dont come here if youre already starving, the wait for the food takes a while. I dined alone during lunch hour. I was seated very quickly, there was only one other party in front of me. Self served water, FYI.

Good neat hole in the wall. Place is tasty, but a little on the pricey side for its portions. But overall, nice green environment. We got the breakfast skillet and the houz chicken waffle

Kind of a cool place. They were out of the menu item I ordered. The not-particularly-friendly owner threw me out right at 3pm, which is their rather early closing time.

This is the best breakfast Ive had in a long time! Im down here on vacation.. I had the breakfast sanwhich and the salted caramel latte. So good!!

Simple menu. Nice to meet up, eat, and have a coffee. Parking limited and its a one way driveway so better to park on the street if available.
