As far back as I can remember, weve been going too" Macho Cafe"! It used to be across the street and there used to be a pizza joint where Macho sits today. You scared the life outta me when they closed and moved across the street I didnt know what I was going to do and then go up. Im not exaggerating this anyway Macho Cafe is the best mexican food ive had, by far! We eat there at least once a week sometimes twice if Im lucky. And yes the customer service is great you guys are friendly I even see him on the street and they recognize me and say hello! Im 34 years old been going there since I was a baby can I wont stop until I die and then Im going to haunt them.

The best home style Mexican food in San Gabriel. My favorites are the chiles rellenos and the enchiladas. The sauce on both of these entrees tastes homemade- not the overly acidic, generic kind that comes from a can. Everything Ive tried here has been great-the soups, the fried tilapia, you cant go wrong with anything!

This ok restaurant Mexican style very small but fast service I had breakfast was OK coffee is not that good restroom was very small and dirty its close the mission and very limited parking space the price to hi for this place almost 11.00 dollars for rancho huvoes.

We went by the previous recommendations and am glad we did! We had a simple dish of chili rellenoes and enchiladas with red ranchero sauce -- the best we have ever tasted in a very long time. I would definitely go back -- simple decor, great food.

I paid $8.59 for a soda & Chile relleno burrito! That wasnt good! Service with attitude, soda price on menu was different than I was charged, Chile relleno itself tasted blah. I have that feeling as if I was jipped! :-..( long face.

Good service, the fish and shrimp tacos are excellent! Enjoyable music. There are also benches outside to enjoy the fresh air. Nice place to eat. Will definitely be returning.

Love it here! My work is right near by and anytime Im early I stop in for some shrimp or fish tacos. Highly recommend the homemade chips and salsa as well!!

Great place to stop by for an early morning breakfast. The chorizo, papa and huevo plate was really good. They have lots of great lunch specials too.
