This rating is an average of food (5 stars) and service (.5 stars). I have celiac disease, so this place is my go-to for baked goods. Delicious, great variety, and completely safe for those of us who get sick from gluten. The service on the other hand is among the worst Ive experienced. Theyre never open on time, toasting anything is a major issue, and the attitude is appalling. Today, they were complaining about how bad the customers were (!) in front of the customers who were doing nothing but waiting for their crappy service. Then they started bossing around the customers and making everyone stand in line a certain way or theyd threaten not to provide service. Mariposa, you can do better than this. We need you!

So happy Mariposa moved into the Ferry Building! This is my haven for gluten-free foods during the workday and to bring home for dinner. They have these delicious little meat sandwiches that make for a great quick lunch. They also supply fresh-baked gluten-free croutons, pizza, and even dinner rolls during the holidays. The dinner rolls should definitely become a regular item as everyone loves them.

This is a gold mine for anyone you know who needs gluten free. They have yummy pastries, sandwiches, and tons of items you cant often find gluten free. I had a quiche that was delicious. Its a fun stop if youre heading to the farmers market on Saturdays. We bought a small bottle of wine and ate out on the docks for a beautiful view of the bay!

Really good gluten-free bakery. Personally, I much prefer their breads and bagels to their sweets. They also have a nice selection of lunch sandwiches. If youre looking for a great, healthy, and tasty lunch, then this is a great choice. For the sweets, head over to Frog & Hollow, and get a coffee from Blue Bottle - youre set.

The best gluten free croissant on either coast! While visiting San Francisco found this gem of a place and could not get enough of the delicious dedicated gluten free options. Taste tested and approved by non-celiacs! Thats says volumed about how great the food is. Prices are extremely reasonable.

Fantasticly stumbled upon this treasure for breakfast on our first day in San Fran. The cinnamon bun was awesome and my daughter enjoyed the pop tart very much! It was so delicious I was worried with my allergies it wasnt in fact gluten and dairy free! Will be back daily while in town!

The food is decent but seems more of a monopoly because there arent other gluten free options; service is extremely slow theyve only one person assembling the food, no warmth from the lady on the counter and food is way very over priced. Also no subs, which is a shame.
