The BEST!!! I cant rave enough about this little hole in the wall pizza joint. From the street there is little more than a slightly tattered awning to hint at the gustatory joys that await within. The pizza is fresh, the beer is cold (yes, this by-the-slice pizza joint has beer on tap!) and the service is exemplary. There are more flavors of pizza available than you could possibly stomach and they are served to you over the counter piping hot from their pizza heating oven. The ingredients are tasty, the sauce if full of flavor and the crust has that crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside delightfulness that I havent experienced since leaving midtown Manhattan. If you are ever in the area make a point of checking this place out. I declare this place to be hands-down the best pizza joint in San Francisco.

Some people will be critical of the pizzas here, but lets be realistic, 80% of the people that have been to Irving Pizza was there at like 2AM after a night of drinking. Therefore, lets not only focus on the quality of the pizzas but the overall value of Irving Pizza. For the food, its actually decent pizzas. Slices are cheap but whole pies are pretty expensive. Recently, they added more beers on tap, which is always a great idea. For value, Irving Pizza is really the only place in the area that opens late so it offers an excellent place to sober up and provide hot food to your alcohol-filled stomach.

Delicious medium/thin crust pizza. The crust and the sauce come across a little sweet, which complemented the pepperoni which I can swear has a hint of wood smoke. Im not sure if this is endemic to their pepperoni or their cooking process. But either way its delicious in taste and smell. They have a surprising draft beer selection for a by-the-slice pizza joint, where youre lucky if you can get a can of Bud. I saw mostly micros on the taps. Prices are good, and theyre open till 1am (2 on friday & saturday).

This has to be hands down one of the worst places to order from. I made an order with an estimated wait time of 45-60 min. When no one showed up after 1hr & 15 min so I contacted eat24 who called the restaurant which said the driver was on his way. After another 25 min I called again and I was then told they have no idea on my order. Wont be using this restaurant or eat24 again. STAY AWAY FROM BOTH!

BUYER BEWARE! Be careful with drivers short changing upon delivery. We paid cash for our large pizza and the driver said he did not have any change for two $20 on hand. We were forced to give him a large tip and they didnt even deliver the complete order which included hot peppers, cheese, napkins and paper plates. We will not be ordering from them again.

The family went to Irving Pizza on 08/05/2017 (Saturday) to grab a couple of slices after swimming. Got a couple of cheese slices, a pepperoni, and a pesto. Decent pizza, not overly thick. My kids enjoyed the food a lot so they get 3.87 stars from me! I did come here once before a long while back - they were open late for the post-bar crowd.

On one hand, San Fran needs more places like this that are open late and have a casual munch friendly thing going on. On the other hand, clean the damn oven! I could taste the bits of charred grease that had be cooked into little charcoal pearls that sick onto the slice when its in the warning oven.

Delicious pizza in your quintessential pizza joint with fast service that could do with a little more courtesy. Ive been here in-person a few times and ordered their pizza for delivery many times; overall the quality of their pizza is consistently yummy and definitely worth a try!

Delivered pizza, was told all that I had was $100, didnt bring change. Took me for 14.00 As well as forgetting a soda I was charged for. So in all, I had $15.50 stolen from me. All I got was an "Oh, thats ok" from the "acting manager" food is mediocre.

Hands down my favorite place for pizza. Its cheap, cheesy, and delicious. I usually go here with my friends for a late night snack and their pizza has never let me down. If youre in the irving area irving pizza is the way to go. The service is great also.

A total gem. This is a brick oven pizza with BYOB. I must say they have some of the best pizza I have ever tasted. Its very small and they do not take reservations. If you go be prepared to wait and love the meal. Cheers!

My girlfriend lives nearby so we come here often since its the closes place that sells pizza by the slice. Unfortunately they overcook / burn my slices roughly 50% of the time by keeping them in the oven for too long.

Its your standard pizza place that places above Dominos but well below hole-in-the-wall gems like Zacharys. The cheese is plasticy and the dough is tough but its great for drunk munchies because of the price.

Tasty classic new York style pizza. One Supreme slice is about $5 with tax, so a little pricey, and parking is limited to street.
