I have been going to B&Js for over 20 years. Within the last 2 years the people arent following health and safety codes...no hair nets( found hair in my grits and eggs) watched the chinese lady clean the punch machine...then add clean water put her hand in it...then add the punch into water she put her hand all in. They used to be very good. Now when you eat there and you get the B Gs you know why. They dont get your phone order right even after they repeat it back right to you. They need to get it together.

B&J used to be know for its 1/4 LB burgers that were good and juicy .Then Sue (the owner) bought the place and it hasnt been the same. The food is nasty precooked and heated up. Its filthy flies everywhere. They have been sited for rodent and not keeping food at the correct tempture they remain open because the food can be heated up quickly.

Look if you have to work a long shift, and dont feel like cooking yourself come to B & Js get a "hearty stick to your ribs meal" simple & plain!!! Been coming here for years through several jobs over time but again.... " a hearty stick to your ribs meal"! But good none the less

Absolutely loved my grilled chicken. Fixed to perfection. This place wins the burger mafia war in San Francisco. Make sure you order their breakfast, stiff grits smothered with butter and your choice of eggs etc. whatever you like. Stop here! Pepsi products only.

Great breakfast. I had the Applewood sausage with eggs and hashbrown. Toast came a minute later. No line structure but other than that the food was great.
