I dont come here often enough. For awhile I did, though. Im a bit of a soccer fanatic, and so are the owners, and last year was the World Cup, which most of you Americans probably didnt realize. Anyway, because the World Cup was in Germany, most of the games were shown from 10 AM to 4 PM, which arent really known as the popular bar hours. Many places will shut down entirely for this span. But, during the World Cup, they opened every day to show every game. I dont own a TV, so I ended up watching 60% of the games at this bar, and if not for them, I may have missed it entirely. During this time, the staff got to know me and treated me well; some days I was one of only a few customers. But as the World Cup grew, the sizes of the crowds grew, and soon everyone there felt like family. During the final match, the bar was so packed that I spent half the game catching up with a bunch of people I hadnt known before the World Cup began! They also have a great selection of beers on tap, which is always what makes or breaks a bar for me. A pool table, music that I like is playing often enough (its rare for any bar to have any music I like), outdoor seating so you can smoke and drink (!!!), plus a lounge area seperate from the bar/pool table area...its pretty much the perfect bar for me.

Theyre open pretty early. Theyre pretty cheap. The music is pretty good. The beer taps are pretty good. The drinks are pretty strong, exactly what a well drink should be. Theres no food at the bluefoot, but you can order from nearby Tacos Perla and have yourself some gourmet tacos and a pint. Be aware, there is a $10 minimum for all credit card orders, so its usually better to get a round at a time than an individual drink. I think it makes the place friendlier anyway, or more likely that youll bring friends. Its location is pretty busy at the corner of Morley Field / Upas and 30th. It seems like every garbage truck in uptown will drive by at some point which makes the patio in the daytime a bit loud. That being said, there is outdoor space, which for some reason isnt a San Diego thing. There are two pool tables in the middle of the room that are impossible to use if its busy. Lastly, this is a top notch soccer bar. Im pretty sure its an official San Diego Manchester United bar, but since were a City family, I never pay that close attention.

I have never been to a bar where the security guards/door men treated people with such little respect. My family and I have lived in North Park for most of our lives and go to this bar often because of the location and because we love this bar, but the men at the door are very rude and disrespectful to a lot of my family because they are in law enforcement. My family is loyal to the city and work hard to protect it and never expect any sort of special treatment but get treated like total crap because they are cops and they are resented by the security staff. I have worked in the bar industry my whole working life and have never witnessed such blatant disrespect towards people who dedicate their lives to the safety of these streets. It is so frustrating. Power trip to the highest level. Such a shame because this bar is a great bar. The security staff just really need to be put in check, or replaced.

One of the best bars in North Park for a relaxing evening. Good bar for watching soccer for any of the major leagues in Europe, premier league, bundesliga, la liga, etc. And of course, all the national team games and any major tournament such as the Euros, World Cup, or Copa America. Opens early for all Arsenal games and good match ups. Good variety of tap handles and bottled beer along with well stocked bar. Has a front and back room, a couple of pool tables, and a patio along 30th st. A well run place thats not too fancy and doesnt take itself to seriously.

This is a pretty cool bar for 3 main reasons: (1) Good selection of beer. They have your basics in the bottle, but if you actually care for GOOD beer, they have some nice stuff on tap. There is a pear cider, which is good. They also have some stuff by Green Flash, and a nice, dark porter. (2) The people here are cool. No drama queens, no hipsters, just good normal people from the neighborhood. (3) There is lots of room, and cool outdoor seating on the patio. The prices here are pretty good too, and the staff are friendly. There ya have it.

Always a good time. Been here about 3 or 4 times. I usually go on Saturdays, and though it gets packed, were still able to get drinks pretty quickly and also dance. They play a lot of good music. For example, this past Saturday they were playing a lot of 90s/2000s hip hop and R&B. Also threw in an Nsync pop throwback in there, which all girls knew. Lol. Drink prices are good; a shot of Patron and 2 Coronas ran me $19. Very non-pretentious and I meet a lot of friendly people here. Overall one of my favorite spots in North Park.

Friendly staff and a great place to watch FUTBOL. Look if you go during a big game be prepared to stand since this is the hot spot for all the imp. matches. Catch several games playing at the same time, have some beverages, and engage in some heated conversation about who is the best EPL team or whether Messi would be as good without Xavi. Plus you can bring food from outside establishments in which shows you the owner is really thinking about his customers!

Man, I dont know what it is about this place, but I love it. Is it the amazing Bloody Marys with a shot of guinness in them? Is it the outdoor patio where youre bound to meet relaxed hipsters? The back room for dancing? All of the above, and then some. Great types of friendly people that unwind here with some really good drinks and tons of quality beers on tap. Definitely try the bloody marys here!

Oh Bluefoot, you are my neighborhood spot, and I wouldnt have it any other way. The patio is great for relaxing and North Park people-watching, and they actually have an excellent draft beer selection. It gets pretty crazy on the weekends, but I enjoy visiting between Monday and Thursday with the regulars. Pretty decent sized full bar with lots of room for sitting and dancing.

Only place in San Diego where you can just get a beer and decompress....you can chill if you want to....you can dance in the separate dance area if you want to....good beer selection....friendly staff....and understanding of what it means to appreciate regular customers....ofc this is SD so expect one or two D-bags....but at least everyone wont be....

Had every futbol game during the World Cup. Great bar for sports games of any kind. Good drink specials, but it can get crowded if you show up too late for certain events. You can bring food in the bar and even have delivery there. During the nights its a different music theme.

I love this bar. Its kinda a dive bar, but with awesome 90s music. The drinks are priced right and there are places to park your tired feet. Theres a pool table and a patio. The bathroom lines on Friday nights is a bit insane. Overall, a great place with a good atmosphere.
