This place has the worst employees ever. My family of 8 walked up and we were going to get a snack and ice cream from this place. My family veered right to see the sea lions on the ocean while I continued in the place to use the restroom . I walked out to gather the family so we could go in and get Dippin dots ice cream. The guy (appeared to be manager on duty) chased me out to the front of the shop and was extremely combative about me using the bathroom and was trying to pick a fight with me in front of my kids. He was extremely rude and used much foul language. The most unprofessional experience I have ever had at a public venue by far. The owner/manager should coach their employees on leaving personal problems at the door before coming to work. This guy obviously has some serious life issues he needs to work on before his liability costs the restaurant owner a lawsuit or worse. We debated not purchasing anything after the experience but decided to still buy the ice cream to be better than this troubled human that works at the place RESPONSE TO OWNER: Please post this video you have with audio to your social media and website to prove your defense.

Strolled into this little cafe in need of refreshment. Turns out they had been closed for a couple of minutes and they still served me. Ended up shooting the breeze with the owner, and he talked me I into trying a couple new beers. The staff here is extremely friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to beer. The view from the cafe is killer as it looks over La Jolla cove. Stop in and dont forget the gold fish.

This place does not deserve any customer at all. They look at their customer as a wallet and the only thing they do is being rude and has no respect to their customer. The owner should take action about his employees. Ill never come back here again

Get some coffee, cold brew, espresso, or whatever to fuel you while you go check out the coves, caves, seals, snorkeling. After youve had your fill of that, come back and relax with some food, an amazing selection of beers, and coastal views.

dropped in for a double espresso as we were waiting for our table at Brockton Villa . Service was ok.. espresso was so bad that I couldnt finsih it ( super watery and sour ) . Beautiful view as we enjoyed the only table left outside.

Four stars mainly because of the view. Food is alright. Clam chowder had too much old bay seasoning which ruined the entire bowl. Street tacos very greasy. They had a decently priced three course menu but we just ordered apps

This place is a great place to work and drink tea while looking down at the view. I love the location of this place and the food is really good! The atmosphere and people are also a big plus!

Meli Kalikimaka. Yup coffee was good, the pesto Pannini satisfying. Nice spot strolling La Jolla. Reasonably priced. Tks for opening on Xmas you chaps made our day.
