RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!!! The lack of customer service was incredible and unbelievable! This was my first time attending this bar and at first it was very dark looked cheap and nothing special. I decided to give it a chance but as soon as i sat down I was greeted by a server named Tara, immediately i sensed her negative vibes and she definitely did not look happy to be there. I asked her to give me a minute so that i can situate myself and have a minute to go over the menu as my friend went to the bathroom and waiting for them to come sit so we can order together. I had not even had a chance to take off my coat yet and the server comes back with an attitude and kept rushing me to order so finally i felt anxiety i said i would not be able to order i need another minute. The server immediately suggested i must get up from my seat and move elsewhere for the seating was reserved for those who are drinking. I never walked into a bar and not planned on drinking, its the whole purpose of coming to a bar. I asked her for another minute as i did plan on ordering just hadnt made up my mind and she threatened me with the security guard and said she will have me moved forcefully for not ordering.I havent even been in there for 5 minutes!!! my mind was blown that i seriously got threatened to be moved forcefully for not ordering. mind you this place was not full and there was another empty booth so its not like i was really occupying any space when there was obviously plenty. I tried to ask for the servers name but she kept walking away from me and purposely ignored me. i tried to talk to the manager and she was equally as rude as her server, unbelievable! My friends and i will never come back to this place again.

The price in drinks are reasonable, but thats not where the two stars come from. I happen to use their ATM machine, and there is a service charge of $2.50, but I saw that i was charged more than once for the amount i withdrew from their ATM. Just to make sure that there was only one service charge, I called their number to just to specify with them, and see what their Service fee terms were. A gentleman picked up the phone with a simple "hello", so i wasnt sure if I called the right number and responded back with a "Is this Pink Bar?" His response back was "um.... yeah.." like i was stupid to even ask if this was Pink Bar when I dialed their number. I then began to tell him my concern and just wanted to check with him how many times they charge the ATM fee, and he response back with "who is this?... machines dont make mistakes..so...." Hes tone of voice was as if I was stupid to be calling about a machine error, because clearly to him, machines dont make mistakes, EVER. Also, he picked up the phone as if he did not want to even help me in the first place. I called them before I decided to dispute the charge with my bank because I was sure that it could have been cleared up with the bar rather than making it such a big deal between the bar and bank. I get that we may have a bad start to our days; however, it does not mean you should be rude to your customers who simply just had a question.

First time been here, I went to the bar and I order three beers for me and my friends to the bartender with a tattoo on her left arm; so I ask her for three beers of the brand of Stella after that she went and take the order of 5 more people and give the drink right away, following that she went and have a drink with another bartender and ignoring me, after 30 minutes approximately I ask her again for my three beers and she told me that she didnt like my attitude so she doesnt know what to do about it so she wouldnt bring my drinks and walk away, and I thought she was kidding and I ask the next girl if I heard right and she told me yes that she said I should smile more... I mean really? Should I have to kiss the ass of the bartender for a drink that Im paying for? I was not even rude I just order for the drink what else should I said? I mean honestly with the music you barely heard and ask for a drink. I think that was rude of her, and unprofessional, she should not take personal if I didnt flirt with her or smile to her went I ask for a drink. I have to ask for a friend to order the drink cause she was absolutely refusing to give me a drink, it was ridiculous.

Favorite dive bar in North Park. I discovered this joint back in 2008, and it hasnt change much. Great craft beer selection (and cheap macros if thats your thing, they got $2 tecates and $4 PBR tallboys!) and their specialty cocktails are off the chain - I suggest you try their signature Sneaky Tiki. If you decide to venture in, check-it out on a Friday or Saturday night. They usually have local bands that get the crowd dancing and howling. On off nights, I find that Monday and Tuesday are usually the best days to find local entertainment. Since I been going to Bar Pink, I cant think of a night that I have been disappointed. I recommend getting a group of friends together to bar hop to the near by Office Bar or U31 to make it a fun night.

This was a cute little kitschy bar and the CASH ONLY policy didnt really effect our night, it was easy to get to an ATM and the drinks are easily priced. The thing was, it was a little loud. We were there for a Suicide Girls book signing and finding the girls was hard because there was live music going on. There were people there to see the band AND the suicide girls so the place was packed. Im not a bar or nightclub type person. I like to go out and have a good time with who I am with and actually talk to them. I think if I were a single lady with a group of girlfriends this would be a fun place. It was just a little too far out of the way for me and while it was definitely a place with an identity, it wasnt my identity, and thats ok.

No AC. Place gets sweaty when packed. Youll depend on ceiling fans to stay cool, and the wind is concentrated on certain spots on the dance floor. Been here a few times, I do have fun. Last time was on first Friday of the month, when they usually play hip-hop with live DJ. 5 dollar cover charge for those busy weekend days. Can get busy enough that the only single bar can be saturated with patrons so waiting to buy a drink can be 10 minutes. You can play pool, you can dance, you can sit (they have tables)... and you can sweat. Im sure Ill have fun the next time... albeit with the right people.

Ive always had fun at this bar. Its got a very chill vibe--with a name like Pink and all the bubbles hanging from the ceiling, you might expect the atmosphere to be a little more.. high maintenance; however, its always been really relaxed and almost divey inside. Ive gotten stuck on the pinball machine on more than one occasion (why cant I ever seem to get better at that thing?). Drinks are pretty standard. Its fun to sit at the bar with all the bubbles.
