Legitimately the best burger place in town without looking at like a steakhouse or something. No other burger chain, including In N Out has anything on The Habit for one simple reason: the fries. The fries here are more addicting than crack laced McDonalds fries, but are full, hearty fries that always seem to come out perfect. They are perfectly salted and are just absolutely incredible. The burgers are superior to most too and offer a decent amount of variety. Its a very simple place that knows what its good at and doesnt try and be fancy. Prices are about the same amount as fast food chains like BK or Wendys, but the taste and quality of the food you are getting is off the charts. The people are super friendly and are clearly taken care of, unlike other burger places. They run a tight ship, but at the same time seem very relaxed. Hands down where I go every time when Im craving a burger and fries, and its 10 minutes away and I live next to a BK and McDonalds and Im a cheap skate, so you know its worth it. If you havent had the Habit, you dont know what youre missing.

I will preface this review by saying that Im a pescatarian which is not a vegetarian so eating "vegetarian" burgers at a burger joint doesnt phase me one bit - even if the veggie pattie is cooked on the same grill as the beef. I ordered the veggie burger with American cheese and wanted my raw onions to be grilled. The awesome thing is that the cashier proceeded to tell me that the onions would not be vegetarian based if I did this and I appreciated this information! All of the vegetarians that are in need of information like that, rejoice because Habit makes it a habit to tell you! ;) Their veggie burger seems to be infused with beans and/or grains so thats a plus! I just hate how much soy is relied on in fake meat products for vegetarians and vegans. Next time I order another one, Ill ask to be sure. Overall, I would buy another veggie burger being a pescatarian, but if I were strictly a vegetarian then I would think thrice about eating here at all!

4 star is really a 5 star in most peoples eyes in my world... 3 = 4 and so on. For me to give a 5 star i have to be blown away, which didnt happen at Habit Burger. For a quick bite, its good and I would choose Habit Burger over Burger King or Chick Filet when im craving fast food. I ordered the spicy crispy chicken sandwich with 50/50 sweet potatoe fries and regular fries. Both fries were borderline bland, and just something as a filler i guess. The chicken sandwich was good. Nice big tomatoes, good spicy sauce, pickles were a backnote and the iceberg lettuce was just a filler, and really not needed for crunch or anything (being a crispy chicken switch to romaine). Overall good and would eat here again. Place was busy at 730pm on a wednesday, place seemed clean. Food came out pretty quick. I will come back to try a beef burger.

Absolutely amazing place to eat. I came here with a friend to try it out again; I hadnt been to Habit in a very long time. I must say, they manage to make a veggie burger taste amazing. Instead of just slapping a boca patty on a normal burger like any other place, they actually modify what they put on it. Theres a different sauce, it seems. And cucumbers. Probably more, but I was too busy enjoying it to bother picking it apart. The staff here is mostly friendly, though, for some reason they called the guy behind me to the counter when I was waiting to go next. Oh well. Oh! Just an afterthought, their fries are too soft. Or, they were when I went. The taste was nice, but there wasnt really any crunch, not even on the smaller ones. However, for how amazing the veggie burger was, I dont believe soggy fries are enough to drop a star.

So i am probably the most picky person when comes to eating. My boyfriend will wait to take his first bite, if we are eating out; because he wants to make sure my food is able to make its way to my stomach without complications. I had a Dr.s appointment just the other day and my great friend scummy joined me for support. Afterward s we went to have a bite to eat. Her knowing me so well said, "o.k. so your in the mood for burgers huh? I know just the right place". She brought me to this little joint and of course i was nervous thinking ,"Im starved and if i dont like this Im going to die. *smiles* I was pleased to find a clean very cute place. The cashiers were very friendly, and when our food was given to us I was very exited because my food looked like actual food! I will definitely be returning and i am telling all my friends.

I have been to the habit before once or twice a year to this one and another location in Rancho cordova. Today I went in and no lines. After my order ,I had ordered a coffee malt. They made a mocha malt. I sad no big deal to keep it. They made me a coffee malt at no charge. also I was getting $3.00 back on gift card. They didnt question it LIKE Jacks urban eats does every time over a 2-3 dallors. it takes a manages to get my $ back. The habits employees and manger lady was real nice. They made a customer feel at home and WELCOME to eat there!!! Its very clean and nice inside. This location is on Howe Ave next to panda express. Thank You Jason W.

So not only are their burgers awesome.... but so is the customer service. I took my food home am realized they gave me a single instead of a double and called in to tell them. They told me to go into the location and they would fix it right away.Sadly I got really sick and was out of it for over a month. Do you know I just walked in there and they gave me the combo with extra bacon no questions asked. They are really an outstanding establishment. I havent eaten all the items on the menu because I cant get enough of their burgers.... but they could sell wood burgers and probably win you over with how good they treat you. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I dont miss the heart attack but I sure miss the food my Doctor says caused it. Other than sushi, I have not found food I like that is also not going to kill me. Until, a friend told me about The Habit. I tried the Fresh Albacore Tuna sandwich on wheat bread and it was delicious! Next trip I tried the Chicken (no cheese) and it was tender, flavorful and also delicious. Today, Im going to try the lean Pastrami. Ill let you know later if it keeps up with the others. BTW, my wife says the salads are "to die for" (I dont eat rabbit food). She even goes over from work at lunch time.

I love their Caesar salads. They have got to be the best Ive ever had. But I am very very disappointed one thing. They dont have their garlic fries anymore. I drove over an hour just to have a Caesar salad and my naughty little garlic fries and they dont have the garlic fries anymore. If it wasnt for that Caesar salad they would have gotten no stars at all. But if they have their garlic fries still I would have found a way to give them 10 Stars
