Just super excellent pizza. When I go to a pizza place I know the decor will be a few arcade games, a giant older rear projection TV, bricks... wooden tables and chairs - none of that is important. Whats important is excellent, truly excellent pizza. We have only been once and tried (as you always must on a first outing) their house specialty which in this case was the Milanos Combination. While you cant point to any specific pizza place and say they are the absolute best (because pizza is so subjective and there are various styles etc.) what you can determine is whether it closely approximated your expectations of what pizza should be. I should point out now that there are those supposed purists who think that only New York, Brooklyn, New Orleans, Italy, Chicago et al have pizza down but what you realize by hearing those arguments is that they cant all be right... which is it? Where does real pizza come from? Which of those styles is the best? I say they are all great and that california has a style of its own popularized mainly by SoCal establishments like Round Table. Californias style of pizza has (in my approximation) a doughy, soft crust with a cracker-crisp dry finish at the base, fresh whole milk cheeses and spicy meat toppings. Milanos is superb, meeting 100% of my criteria for great pizza. It stands out favorably against most all Sacramento pizza joints and for me, at this moment, only Pizza Bell in Elk Grove comes anywhere near it. To get close, youd have to go all the way to Old Town Pizza in Auburn.

Been going here since I was a kid! The pizza is great and they have beer. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and relaxed. Service can be slow sometimes, but I attribute that to them getting a lot of orders. If Im within 5 miles of Milanos when I decide to get pizza, I go here. Have yet to have a bad experience in over 15 years.

Been there twice, pizza is great and creative. The inside reminds me of the nineties pizza places, has a certain charm to it. Theyve got sports on the TV and some arcades for the kids. You cant go to one of those chain stores when you try the real pizza that places like this make. If Im in the mid for pizza, Ill come here first

I order a pizza for delivery and waited an hour and a half, just to get a call that smud had cut their power or something!!! Why did it take an hour and a half to call me back thanks for wasting my time... Very unprofessional place and it shouldnt be in business. Dont waste your time customers

Hands down THE best Calzones! Get em with the white sauce, garlic & pepperoni! You wont be sorry! Not a full on pizza fan but it always looks good. Customer service has been alright, not awesome, but acceptable. Great little neighborhood place :-)

I have truly found the best pizza place Ive ever been to. The pizzas had the best flavor,. The funny thing is, its only been a little over a mile from my house, of which Ive lived for 9 years

Great place to hangout and watch a game with beer and pizza. Kind of a dive bar feel, but the pizza is my favorite in the neighborhood PLUS they deliver! The garlic pesto combo is a must-try!
