If I could give no stars I would. This is the most unprofessional place of business (if you can even call it that). First no one in there even knows their sandwiches and what is supposed to come on them. After I had placed my order from #4 (turkey swiss and bacon) and a BLTA I was I formed they were out of bacon. OK.....So I got both my Sandwiches without bacon and made sure the price would be cheaper the girl replied, I think so....Hmmmmm....OK....Then I go to pay for my food and then I hand the cashier my phone to show the coupon (they have on their own website mind you) for buy 1 get one 50% off and the girl literally says "I dont know how the hell to use this" and starts fiddling around with the price. Im sorry but if you have a special shouldnt you make it so your employees know what the hell to do. So then she yells(literally yells) for another woman to come put In her manager code and she said "I dont know it" at this point I am extremely frustrated with their lack of just pure customer service and normalcy as I am not their pal. So she tells me the price and it was not correct one with the coupon so at this point I ask for my card back and tell them it was my first time there and I would never be returning. The girl gave me my card back and as I was leaving had the audacity to yell out after me, "there is no need to get upset we are gonna fix it." I didnt even acknowledge her rudeness and left. Id rather spend my hard earned money at Subway or Togos where the employees are at least smart and friendly.

New owner doesnt know how to keep things in stock or how to train employees. The sandwich I got was divided into left side meat, right side veggies, not in layers. Once made the girl didnt even know how to wrap it properly, and it almost got into the bag half unwrapped except I told them about it and demanded they fix it. This was the most disappointing sandwich Ive ever had, and nearly the worst experience in a store. It doesnt help that they dont have any chips in stock when I went either. Ive been a couple times after the change in ownership and Ive been disappointed each time. Never going back.

My employee has been raving about this place so we finally made it for lunch today. The sandwiches are large and very good. I had the "Hot Mel" which is chicken breast, American cheese and barbecue sauce. Sometomes barbecue sauce can be overpowering but this was mild with jist the right amount of flavor. My employee loves the "Jesse James" so much he never tries anything else out. They add a small cookie to every meal which I thought was a nice touch. I will definitely be back!

This place is amazing! I have always been a chips and sandwich girl. I never buy sandwiches if I cant afford chips. I put my chips back in the bag because this sandwich couldnt get any better. Im also a person who almost always alters my orders. This sandwich was perfect as is. Another first! These people really know what they are doing and are so friendly without being over the top about it :) Im going to spread the word and definitely come back to try something else.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!!! The owner seems really nice and business-oriented. He knows some of the history of the shop and his employees were on top of their game. Got my food promptly and the order was correct so Im very happy! Be looking for a new site and facebook... a little birdie told me its getting an upgrade

The lady on the cash register which i belive is the owner is really nice and friendly service was awesome and after the first time eating here i never stopped at subway again better yet there sandwiches look fake compared to Mad Subs I love them and definitely will continue to visit

Ever sandwich I have had here is amazing, I dont think you can go wrong! I am sending all of my friends here because it is the best sandwich shop that I have found in Sacramento. Here is a tip though, if you want chips, just buy the big bag because it is only $0.50 more.

Best subs in Sacramento! Seriously awesome subs. Friday and Saturday they have tri tip! It goes fast so get there early so you can get some. Super friendly staff are very fast, the quality is great and the portions though look small will fill you up.

Awesome subs, seriously some of the best Ive ever had. The manager is super nice, and quickly makes the food. The only down side is seating can be limited and sometimes they run out of meat (because its so good).

This used to be my go to for a sandwich, but it has changed owners and now its a joke. The sandwich was awful. I am truly I Disappointed that I lost my favorite sandwich place. I will never go back here.

Mad Subs has great food and great service! This is not a subway, so it does take a little time for the hand-crafted subs to be prepared, but the results are worth the wait! Delicious and super filling!

The owner is super friendly as is the rest of the staff, and the food is amazingly good! I dont come here as much as I should because of the distance from home but its still my favorite sandwich shop.

Great customer service. Amazing sandwiches with fresh ingredients. I had garlic chicken parmesan. Huge chunks of meat, provolone cheese and everything in between! I will return soon
